This is a nice property but what we liked most was the ocean-front aspect. It was great eating breakfast on the lanai while watching and listening to the surf.

We had an amazing vacation and couldn't have been happier with the condo. The location is wonderful. The view from the lanai is stunning...we watched the beautiful sunset every night, and some rainbows too. We enjoyed the pool a few times and easy drives to local beaches, stores, Whaler's Village, and downtown Lahaina. Cannot beat having two bedrooms and two full bathrooms for a family of 4- plenty of room for all of us. Owners were quick to respond when we had some plumbing trouble and the issue was fixed right away. No complaints and would stay again in a heartbeat if we're ever lucky enough to get to Maui again!

Enjoyed our stay and the view, the only thing lacking was the air conditioning. We were not able to sleep well with the heat and the windows open to let more cross ventilation and us being visible to the hallway and anyone walking by.Unfortunately we will stay somewhere else with a/c and bedroom privacy.

If you want the best view in Maui look no further than this property! The unit was exactly as promised and was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The owner was incredibly communicative and very accommodating. We couldn't be happier with the location, experience, and memories made here. We will definitely be renting this unit again in the future! The winds off the ocean kept the whole place a perfect temperature the whole stay. No noise or other guest issues, and we could hear the ocean at all times. Super relaxing and perfect for what we hoped for.

WOW! The view off the lanai is spectacular! Probably the best of any place we’ve ever stayed during our many trips to Maui. We absolutely loved having our coffee out there every morning while watching the waves. Polarized sunglasses are great for cutting the glare coming off the water to make it easier to see the turtles cruising by. Depending on the tide, it can be a bit challenging getting across the rocky beach area to play in the huge sandy bottom part the ocean just beyond, but grab your water shoes and you’ll be fine. And the pool is great as well. The condo itself was clean and comfortable and a great home base for our Maui adventures. Multiple grocery stores within walking distance make it super convenient to save some money by using the kitchen to eat in. We had a small issue with the screen door latch being a bit loose, but Elisabeth and Doug were super responsive and friendly, and got it taken care of quickly (thanks for bringing the delicious mango along with your screwdriver!!). We hope we get the chance to stay here again in the future. Thanks so much for sharing your awesome place!

Had a great visit at this perfectly located condo on the water. The neighborhood was wonderful, shopping close by, great parking, and well maintained grounds. The beach in front is great for a relaxing swim, plenty of lawn chairs for lounging and the bbq area kept clean. Thank you Elisabeth for hosting such a treasure!

This was my first time to Hawaii. We came for a wedding. Elisabeth’s place was perfect. I loved waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves. The view was beautiful. We saw turtles! I’d stay here again and highly recommend paki Maui

We had a wonderful week in Lahaina! The condo is very comfortable and well situated, with a health food store, cafes, and a supermarket within a block or two. The view is unbeatable. We saw turtles and whales almost every day from the lanai. It was really easy to communicate with the hosts, who made sure we were comfortable and had all the info we needed. Mahalo!

We had a fantastic stay at Elisabeth and Douglas's condo in Honokowai! The condo was exactly as described in the posting. It was very clean with a vase of fresh flowers on the dining room table upon our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed going to sleep each night listening to the waves roll into shore. Even better was waking up each morning to sit on the lanai and watch the whales breeching and rolling in the morning sun. The condo is conveniently located in very close proximity to many local eateries and grocery stores. A grocery/deli called the Farmers Market located just across the street was an almost daily stop for smoothies, fruit bowls or delicious soups. The Maui bus system is a very easy, cost-effective way to get around the immediate area and the bus stops are very close by. The bus is a 30-minute ride from the great restaurants and shops in Lahaina and drops you off in the heart of downtown so you don't have to find and pay for parking. If your primary goal is to sunbathe, snorkel and hang out at the beach, the condo complex is a great place to be and if you want to explore the most beautiful beaches on the west coast of Maui, there are miles of beaches a short walk away. Can't say enough about the view and location! Not only is the ocean RIGHT THERE, the sound of it is incredible. The unit itself is great and everything you need from pots & pans to boogie boards & beach towels is provided. The hosts are wonderful and accessible. Groceries, restaurants, coffee are all across the street and an easy walk. There is also a public beach right next door for a larger sandy beach. Can't wait to return!

This property had a gorgeous Oceanfront view from the lanai and living room. We saw whales from the lanai which was such an amazing sight. It was a relaxing, comfortable and well equipped two bedroom property. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and a grocery store. It has an authentic Hawaiian feel. I highly recommend this property.

We had an awesome time in your beautiful, comfy and well-appointed condo we wanted for nothing! We were so sad to leave, but super happy with all the memories made. We saw many whales and a handful of turtles. The view……OMG the view. The sunsets…….wow! The sound of the ocean + fountain in the pond sent us off to sleep each night. Mahalo Elisabeth for having us. We feel very blessed to have stayed in your little piece of heaven. It’s a shame the beach stairs are closed off as it does make it difficult for those less abled to swim in the ocean. That was the one and only negative thing about our stay.

This condo was wonderful. Two bedrooms (all very comfortable beds) and two full bathrooms makes traveling with family super easy. Elisabeth's condo is centrally located to shopping and grocery stores and we could get to Kaanapali within 7 minutes and Lahaina within 15 minutes. It is also located in a quiet building and has a fantastic view from the lanai. We saw four sea turtles one morning and numerous whale spouts. Bring your snorkeling gear because there are tons of fish in and around the rocks and reef. The condo was very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes and spices. It also has sand mats, beach towels, boogey boards, and noodles for the pool. There are chairs and chaise lounge chairs on the grass overlooking the ocean. If you aren't on your lanai at sunset, grabbing a seat on the grass is the next best place to see the extraordinary colors. There are ceiling fans in every room and extra stand alone fans to keep the air moving in the condo. We really didn't need anything else. There is a great coffee place, Cruzin Cafe, just a short walk down the street. Elisabeth was so easy to contact and work with. You won't want to miss out on this gem!

Location was very convenient to Kaanapali and Lahaina, as well as Kapala. Very easy to access main highway. Unit's oceanfront location was great! However, property itself needs TLC and updating.

We really enjoyed our stay, the fresh breeze made up for no ac, yes that was rough as it was 80 night and day but it was still a good time. Seeing the turtles right out front every day was just the best part. The beds were basic beds, it is pretty dated but I know they put in a lot of work making it nice over Covid. It was relaxing and in a good location. We would stay again.

Perfect stay! We are snorkelers and scuba divers. The beach right outside was wonderful with turtles everyday! Close to diving destinations. It was the right size for my family of 4 and loved the view, Beach, ocean, balcony. Food truck vendors right up the street were great for dinners. No AC but fans were adequate for us. Thank you for allowing us to stay for the week!

My best friend and I traveled to celebrate our 50th birthdays. This condo was everything we expected it to be! The beach was excellent, and we swam with turtles everyday! The reef provided shallow enough water, and yet still had a variety of fish to look at. The shops near by were great as well, especially the coffee shop and the fish market.. The only thing we wish would have been different was the size of the kitchen. Overall we rated our vacation a 10/10!

First off, yes, ok, this building is an older building with no air conditioning. Let’s get that out of the way because that’s the only negative if you’re staying here in July. BUT, take a look out the balcony and your worries will be forgotten real quick! What a treat to wake up each morning to beautiful blue water and even more relaxing to listen to the soothing ocean waves at night! 2 bed/2bath was perfect for my family of 4. Cute little kitchen to make a meal for a night and great balcony to sit on when you’re bringing back something yummy from the food truck park down the street. The beach out front had many visiting turtles and many calm beaches along the ocean front for a nice walk at sunset. The owner was very nice and quickly addressed a minor issue with a light switch. All you have to do is follow the directions in the binder and all will be perfect! There is a pool and jacuzzi to rest your weary feet. And it’s an easy walking distance to various food options. I would definitely stay here again because it’s quiet and peaceful. Mahalo, Elizabeth!

My kids loved the pool and perfected their underwater handstands. Our favorite thing to do was sit on the lanai, listen to the waves and watch the sunset. Truly paradise and we'll never forget it. This property is just as described. The location is convenient to many of the sights we were interested in. The beach area out front often had low tide so we were able to be on the sand and see tide pools, along with some snorkeling. The place was clean and perfect for a family of four. The two bathrooms was a nice feature. The place is kind of warm with no air conditioning. Even though the trade winds do blow frequently, the angle of the doors and windows didn’t seem to allow for a regular breeze to cool the place down. There are fans and they were enough to make us comfortable. We would for sure stay here again.

Couldn’t get any closer to the water. Owner very helpful. Small kitchen but well stocked. Beach items/towels were very welcomed. Comfortable apartment though 2nd bathroom is awkward as the sink is part of the hall and not private. Beds comfortable. Some of the best sunsets I’ve seen right from the lanai.

This place is all you need for a great Maui vacation. It’s on a beach with great swimming, snorkeling, turtle and whale watching. Across the street from two of the best fish restaurants/markets on the island. There is no AC, but the ceiling fans and extra plug in fans work just great. Elisabeth, the host, is very helpful and quick to reply. I was told the rental didn’t have any beach equipment, but found it had two beach chairs, beach umbrella, and two boogie boards. Not sure if they may have been possibly left by a previous renter, but glad they were there. Larry, the office manager at the Paki Maui building is very nice and helpful too.

We just completed a two-week stay in this property and absolutely loved it. We watched whales, sea turtles, and beautiful sunsets from the lanai. The condo is nicely furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for those who wish to prepare their meals. The owners provide helpful information and ensure you are well prepared for your stay. This was our second stay here and we would love to return for a third visit!
