This property was awesome, just as it was advertised. It was perfect for our family of nine. The location was great. We loved sitting outside watching the boats go by. Also saw a manatee one morning. It is perfect for large groups and the lanai is great for hanging out around the pool. We arrived later than planned and were surprised the bathrooms were not fully stocked with towels and toilet paper. This was our second trip to Manatee Bay so we didn't expect to go to the store that evening. The cleaning crew was not as thorough as last year. We found the kitchen counter was dirty under the coffee pot and water bottles under beds. The property managers are terrific and responded quickly when needed. We are already planning our next trip to Marathon and will be staying at Manatee Bay again.

Perfect house & location!

We last visited the Keys about 15 years ago when our kids were younger. It was so much fun to return with them now that they’re all adults. The house met all our needs. Plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well appointed to prepare a meal for us all. The house is in a great location and being able to dock the boat right at the house was a huge plus! Also, just across the canal we could fuel the boat and purchase ice. Fun memories were made!

Boat dock was great for our boat & all fishing amenities were appreciated. Wish for an ice machine though. We very much enjoyed the pool & outdoor space. The kitchen was great for preparing our meals. Special bonus to see the manatees at Manatee Bay. Great stay!

Beautiful house with ideal location - we enjoyed watching the boats go by and very easy/quick access to the Atlantic and only a few minutes to Vaca Cut for bay access. Pool and hot tub got lots of use daily and we ate dinner in the Tiki Hut almost every night. Thanks for having a very well equipped kitchen. All that and a mother and baby manatee off the dock - great trip!

Sunsets from the 2nd fl.balcony at cocktail hour was amazing .
Cons: Outside trash cans were not properly cleaned with...scum water in the bottom and swarming with flys on arrival.We quick scrum cleaned with
bleach and took care of that. My wife paddle boards these beautiful waters and has to access via the ladder off the dock. Unfortunately the lower ladder was massively covered in barnacles and sea growth from being left below water level. I removed lower section and beat and scraped clean so she could enjoy boarding that day.
A 9:00 am checkout is unreasonable and not an industry standard, though does get us ahead of the Saturday traffic. Was said the size of the house needs the added time to clean...maybe the size of clean crew needs to match the size of the house.
All said, we do love Manatee Bay with 9+ rating and will be booking soon for Summer of 2022.

Didn't catch the e-mail in time about us having to wash our towels prior to leaving. Never stayed anywhere that required such a rule.
Drawer in kitchen where aluminum foil broke, we fixed it. Pool bath door handle broke, we fixed it. Screen door in the breezeway needed to be fixed too.
Loved the location watching the boats go out, loved the bar and the outside dining table. We would definitly stay there again but bring our own towels.

The house was perfect.. It was perfectly equipped and very clean. It had it all. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely book again!

House met or exceeded our expectations across the board. We have a group of 8 adults and 2 children that rent properties a couple times a year. I can say Manatee Bay is one of the best ever for us. The house is clean, well maintained and loaded with amenities that are all top of the line. The house was large enough for everyone to enjoy and never felt crowded. The 2 full size refrigerators are a big bonus as well. The location was great for boating and the 55ft dock was more than accommodating for the 24ft boat we rented. The house is on a corner from a marina and gas station so each morning and evening was like a boat parade and very enjoyable to watch. Looking forward to booking our next stay here again next year.

Lots of space inside and out. The kitchen was very well stocked(we cooked almost all of our meals at the house, COVID still an issue)and very nice to have 2 refrigerators.
Beach towels were provided, so nice not to have to pack a bulky item. They also had several giant size games and other games to enjoy.
We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and entire screened in area(We ate many meals outside).
The dock was good for our rental boat.
The property felt very private even though it is close to the marina. It was fun to watch the boats that came and went.
We saw a manatee on 4 different days. Not great fishing off dock or wall.
Walking distance to club/small beach, sunset park and town center(had a farmers market on Tuesdays).
We really enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again.
Only negative was the master bedroom mattress, definitely needs replaced.

There were two families on this trip. Both had two children. We arrive to an extremely welcoming and clean house. Fresh towels ,fresh beach towels and a wonderful hot tub and a beautifully heated pool.

Even though our week was rainy, the outdoor covered area was a great place for us to hang out. After three days of rain, we decided the home was perfect rain or shine and booked a week in 2021. The Key Ocean team, Kayla and Mallory was very attentive to our needs. We had the opportunity to meet their maintenance man Squeak who suggested several restaurants and places to visit. We are all looking forward to our visit next year and although sunshine is preferred, we know Manatee Bay will not disappoint.

We were 3 adult (45+) couples that stayed at this beautiful home on Key Colony. We were supposed to be 4 couples (things changed last minute) that's why we chose this home due to it's having 4 bedrooms with adult beds (not twins-even though this has home has a twin room) and a bath for everyone. Our criteria was enough bedrooms with privacy, bathrooms for each couple, waterfront with an open water view, easy access to Gulf & Atlantic, private pool, and a boat dock. The Manatee Bay home did not disappoint! The home is beautifully decorated with gorgeous views of the water from all rooms, except one bedroom. There is plenty of room to spread out. The pool is wonderful, clean and there's a large hot tub. Both got plenty of use. In fact, someone came during the week to check on both. There are plenty of TV's, that no one used! The well equipped kitchen is huge and has a very large island. An extra refrigerator is provided in the hallway leading to the door that goes to the tiki bar. There are 2 washers, 2 dryers, a bait freezer & so much more! This house is very large by the way! No complaints from anyone about the comfort of the beds. We rented a boat ( a must!) from Captain Hooks Marina and Dive Center. The boat & their service was great. If you plan on renting, make sure you do so in advance as things book quickly. We first reserved from Key Colony. Wouldn't recommend them, as they showed up with a boat with zip ties holding things together, buckets to sit on, etc. We thought about changing our week due to a potential hurricane. One couple lives in Pensacola, FL, and we own a home on Pensacola Beach. At the time, the storm was headed straight toward the Keys, even though it wasn't a hurricane yet & projected to turn toward Pensacola. We took the risk and are so glad that we did. We only had rain one afternoon. Of course the waters were murky and churned up until the last couple of days but that didn't stop us from having a wonderful time. Please keep the folks who were affected by Hurricane Laura in your thoughts, and if you can help in any way, do so.

The views are amazing, the extensive seawall was a great place to watch manatees, other boaters, fish, and paddle board. Two full sized fridges left ample space for al our food and drinks. Enjoyed, corn hole, Jenga, the ring toss, and various pool toys. THE A/C kept us very cool after a long day boating in the florida heat.

We felt extremely fortunate to have chosen this home. Between the large expanse of the home and the property, we had plenty of space to spread out. The amenities (heated pool, hot tub, outdoor games, tiki hut and high quality outdoor furnishings) both the adults and children always were entertained. The fishing off the sea wall kept everyone entertained for hours at a time. The house and tiki hut have TVs everywhere, though we didn’t use them often. Best satellite TV service I’ve seen in a rental yet. It’s conveniently located to shopping, bait, restaurants and attractions. The two fridges allowed us to have food and beverages on hand, Those, as well as the two washer and dryers allowed us to be blissfully self-contained with 9 guests. Would go back again! The management staff was always accessible, helpful and friendly. 5-Stars all the way.
