The house is huge and can fit large groups the 3 refrigerators came in handy. Kitchen space is ample and there is a second, smaller kitchen upstairs. The audio system should come with instructions. Very close to grocery stores, a butcher and a fish monger; however the prices are very high. One note, it is a shame that house guests don't take better care of the house they are renting. There were many spots on the stone countertop that clearly had a hot pot or pan placed on them. ALso the VRBO and other feed associated with this property were very high. They were as advertised but still high. Also the instructions for taking out the garbage need to be revised. They give two options depending on the location in Isle of Palms. A renter will not know which set to follow. Overall, though, a great house that is very spacious and comfortable. We had a very nice 4 days.

But for the size home and the price would've expected more. For example, only 4 beach chairs for a home that sleeps 28? party. Kitchen was underwhelming and disorganized; impossible to find things and simple tools like bottle openers. cork screws and can openers were either missing or cheap and hard to use. Biggest problem for us was lack of handy cap accessible bathrooms and showers. Of ten bedrooms, only 2 had walk in showers, and even those had no grab bars, etc. and all had old, low toilets. For our group of 15 aged 65-98, this was problematic to say the least. It's a great house but maybe more suited for several younger families with kids. .

This was a great house and location for our family reunion. We were bringing people in from throughout the country so absolutely great place to spend a summer vacation at.

A great house with so much room for all. Loved being on the beach and also having a pool. Our large family had plenty of room to cook in the kitchen and had plenty of places to sit and eat. The property manager was very quick to respond to fixing things that came up. Recommend for large groups or families.

Beautiful views, beach and location. The home had a lovely floor plan offering everyone a fantastic bedroom, common space. We could not have had a better experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. There was so much space in the house that even with 25 people, we didn't feel on top of each other. The private access to the beach and the pool were great! There were a few small things that could have been fixed prior to our arrival to make our trip even smoother (hard to open sliding doors, empty propane tank on the grill, missing wheels on dishwasher drawers making it very difficult to pull them out) but overall it was really a great property to vacation with family!

We had everyone stay in this house and it was great accommodations for all 19 of us! The rental company was also super responsive and brought us extra dishwasher pods and trashbags with just a text, and allowed an early checkin. My only complaint is for a property this expensive, we shouldn't have to strip beds and move sheets & towels next to the front door upon checkout.The beach and cleanliness of the property was amazing though! The amount of dishwashers and fridges for a house this large was key.

The house (10 bedroom with ensuite bathrooms) was perfect. We cooked and ate family meals everynight in the exceptionally appointed kitchen with two of everything. The recently renovated heated pool and pool deck was enjoyed by everyone. The short (30 seconds) walk to the beach made access so easy for swimming, walking and a little surfing. All in all it was an awesome reunion made possible by an awesome house that had everything you could want.

Since Ian blew right past, we were able to reunion with our 90-year old mothers, our three children and their nine children and some brothers...and everyone had a beautiful room and plenty of space. The house is in great condition with elegant features, stylish furnishings, play-space everywhere and tons of cooking and serving equipment! The pool is beautiful and was warm enough on chilly mornings to entice the kids in and let them swim for long periods. The beach gave us lots of shelling, tidal pools for play and the dolphins thrilled us with their fishing skills on the point. Each sunrise and sunset was more beautiful than the previous day’s. We loved the entire place and the staff was quick and attentive to the few needs we had. Thank you East Island!

The house was wonderful!! Kitchen great for cooking for large groups. Pool was enjoyed by everyone - wish there was some lighting in the pool, dim anything to mark the stairs by the pool. Beds were very comfortable. Loved all the space and having an elevator!!

There were 14 of us from California, Az,Illinois & Wisconsin all meeting up with my nephew from the airforce base in Charleston. We filled this 10 bedroom home and made so many memories! Having heated the pool was a great call because it was a cool week. We took several day trips and stayed & enjoyed the beach& home on others. There is a game lounge upstairs which we used for cards & dice at night! Did lots of cooking in the most beautiful kitchen. Huge TV that was enjoyed by my 2 y/o grandson & the guys at night!! Loved having my coffee on the deck in their rockers- so peaceful. The view is amazing. Saw dolphins daily on our walks on the beach! If we needed anything just sent a text and within an hour they were responding & usually taking care of the issue. Everyone having their own en-suite with the bedroom was awesome. Gated pool with a nice wooden deck to the beach was perfect with the little one! The ping pong table also got a lot of use! If we ever go back this way it is a perfect home for a large group!!. We would rent it again over & over! Thank you for sharing this amazing home

Size, layout and location were great. The home could use a bit of attention. Broken pull out couch, lights that flickered, neither the ice machine or the ice maker in the fridge worked and several of the bathrooms could use some new caulking. The mattress pad on the second pull out couch was seriously stained. That said, we had a wonderful time. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone in our family. The pool and beach were perfect!

This was a wonderful beach house for 10 adults and 6 young kids. Beautiful house and amazing location. There were a few maintenance items that needed attention so we contacted the management company to fix them. However they never got back to us. The lights in the pantry were out and so it was very inconvenient to have a full pantry dark for the week. Was hoping they would have been more responsive.

I booked this home almost a year ago for a reunion of college friends. We were all really excited to stay in this home due to the amazing reviews and great pictures. However, about a month before our trip when I called to pay money (approx. $500) to have the pool heated, since we were going in early March, my complaints started. They informed me, with a few "I'm sorry" statements, that the pool would not be able to be heated due to construction that was happening to the pool. This was an extremely disappointing turn of events as my friends and I (all of us being from the midwest) were really looking forward to swimming and had paid more money for an ocean view home with a pool. After a lot of effort on my part, a lot of advocating for our group, and a lot of excuses from the rental company we were issued a partial refund. However, during the process they did also offer to cancel the reservation all together, which was also an unacceptable option due to the size of my group (20) and the nearness of the trip (a month out). They also offered to cancel when I mentioned writing a review, saying they'd be "nervous we'd write a bad review the entire time we were there". I would think this nervousness would have helped the following, when we arrived we learned from figuring it out on our own (no signs, no communications, etc.) that the ice maker was broken and molding, the refrigerator was not hooked up to a water line, so no ice there either, that one of the microwaves was not working, and on Friday (our first full day there) the pool had chemicals put in it which meant we were not allowed in the water till 3pm that day (again, heard from the pool company, NOT East Island Rentals). Overall the interior is a great space for large groups. It is spacious, well equipped, and nicely laid out. The rooms are as advertised. We were happy though that we were not at capacity as the pull-out sofas and twin bed chairs all had EXTREMELY thin and worn mattresses on them. FInding extra sheets and pillows for the one we did use was also a scavenger hunt. Everything about the house is a little worn and honestly, dirty. From a towel bar that fell off when touched, a grimy soaking tub , to cabinets that have paint chipping and doors hanging off, etc. EIR had a staff member come on site for another issue, when I approached him to talk he did not apologize for the things that were broken, inquire about our stay thus far, or thank us. Customer service is NOT their strength!

We had a corporate events here and it was a great location and a great property. 10 bedrooms all with king size beds and private baths and the first floor kitchen and living room provided a great area for the gathering. The proximity to the beach and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets completing the package. Very nice!!
