We had the most perfect fall, weekend getaway! Eli and Scott's home was simply perfect for a weekend getaway. The house was charming and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked and organized kitchen. Coffee on the terrace with a view of the lake and fall foliage was a highlight, as well as talking around the fire pit under the full moon. The house was meticulously clean, and had the comforts of a real home. The setting was beautiful, and centrally located to explore the surrounding area. Ten stars!!

A beautiful stay. The home is fully renovated and in beautiful shape. The house is outfitted with everything you need. It’s a quiet retreat, with friendly deer and chipmunks!

Absolutely beautiful

The home is updated, immaculate and enjoys beautiful views from the master, living room and deck. It's a perfect jumping off place to enjoy the area - or just hang out in. The hosts bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect and responded immediately to questions. We didn't take full advantage of the home's amazingly well appointed kitchen or fire pit and deck (rain) on this visit - but I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great family weekend at this home. The space is very well designed and stocked better than almost any rental I’ve ever stayed at. Really appreciated having everything I needed to cook meals and make coffee. It was also really warm and cozy throughout the winter squall that passed through. Plus our kids got a kick out of seeing all the deer roam past the house.

Loved our stay. The house is in a great setting. it also has everything you might need. we stayed for one month and did not want to leave. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. i would definitely stay again. thanks guys!

My wife and I attended a concert at Bethel Woods and this was a great house for our stay - close to the venue, well designed, clean and comfortable. Scott was responsive and super accommodating. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

This is an extremely well designed and maintained property with many great features (outdoor eating areas, fire pit, barbecue, etc). It is also close to some great hiking trails and overlooks a wonderful small lake. Scott and Eli were very accommodating, excellent hosts. I would strongly recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a calm, peaceful retreat.

Wow! This was exactly what we needed. A cozy getaway pad. Everything thing you need for a nice relaxing home away from home was there. Modern, stylish, comfortable and fairly secluded. The perfect fit!

My friends and I absolutely loved this house. We hiked during the day and spent evenings making meals and enjoying the lake view and the fire pit. We found that the house had everything we needed - and more - and the aesthetic was refined and comfortable at the same time and Scott and Eli were super responsive and even brought us firewood to use. Couldn’t have had a better experience!

We've used rentals thru VRBO many, many times. I rated 4 stars with excellent reviews because of just one thing. Dressers were desperately needed. The two bedrooms in this beautiful little cottage were roomy enough to add one more piece of furniture. We had nothing to unpack into. The few drawers that were there were filled with the owners things. One dresser in each room please. Other than that, the place was just perfect. Clean as a whistle. The kitchen was fully loaded including such thins as condiments and some odd ball canned foods. Very comfortable in a beautiful area. We spent a nice weekend in the area from which my Husband grew up, for the Woodstock 50 reunion. Had a blast, and the cottage was perfect.

Quiet and comfortable with beautiful views. Deer amble through unperturbed by humans. Pileated woodpeckers visit for the birding enthusiasts. Landscaping must be by Elves. Rock work very impressive. Our complements! Just what we were looking for on our 50th Anniversary reunion.

This was our second stay at Scott and Eli’s and we loved it as much as the first time. Can’t wait to return again next year!

This is one of the nicest homes we have stayed in, it is in a lovely location and was perfect for our needs. The home is beautiful inside and out with a wonderful view. Do not be alarmed by the fact there is no air conditioning, we were there at one of the hottest times of the year and the house stayed nice and cool with the help of ceiling fans. The kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you need. The well water had a bit of a sulfur smell, but we cooked with bottled water so it was not a problem. Oh, and don't forget a hair dryer if you need one, there isn't one provided. Our hosts Scott and Eli were kind and communicative and we would not hesitate to stay here again. HIGHLY recommended!!
