Casa Del Sol was everything promised and more. Very beautiful view of the surrounding bay, close to town, and responsive management. We will definitely book again.

Good place, awesome views....little things need some fixing but really decent place. Mgmt company is very good. Only thing is that VRBO is a little hard to navigate with regard to cost per person. You need to be sure to clearly put in the number of people coming as this property charges by occupancy not the villa in its entirety. Would defineately come back!

The location is ideal as it secluded yet only a 10 minute drive to everything. View is stunning and breeze was so relaxing. Snorkeling was great in bay below. Caribbean Villas was always available to solve any issues we had. We will definitely return, hopefully sooner than later.

This house had a great view and wonderful amenities. We couldn't have asked for a better location. And the staff was easy to work with as well.

This house is incredible!! The views are amazing, great layout, and so peaceful and quiet. This house is everything it looks like in the pictures and MORE. We had 4 couples on this trip and everybody agreed this house exceeded all of our expectations. We did not have one issue. I would recommend this house to anyone looking in St. John.

Our group of 4 (my wife and I, our college-age daughter and her friend) a great time! Casa Del Sol was amazing; from the moment we drove up to the house we could tell this place was perfect. As you can see in the pics, the house is made of stone inside and out and is obviously someone's personal vacation home and not just "a rental" the furnishings and decor are all high end from the decor to the antiques. All of the bedrooms and the main house have a terrace overlooking a breathtaking view of the pool and the ocean from high on the mountain! This house had everything we needed; from a well-appointed kitchen to a storage room with beach chairs, coolers, snorkel gear, etc. I own a beach home rental in North Carolina; so, I'm very particular about homes that I rent and this house did not disappoint. The main house is not air conditioned, but with the stone walls, open air design and constant breeze, it was never an issue. The bedrooms do have a/c but they were rarely used because of the breeze and the fact we were there in March. The only issue we had was with low water pressure in the bedroom, but after a call, someone was out within the hour to fix. I have stayed in rental homes all over the Caribbean but this house is the most amazing I have ever stayed at. But, what was more amazing was the Caribbean Villas' staff. They were all awesome from the very start. Our flight into St. Thomas was delayed by 4 hours putting us into St. John about 9:30pm. I was in contact with Diane at Caribbean Villas (well after hours) up until I made contact with our Greeter, Kay, who also stayed late to meet us at the ferry dock and even coordinated with our Jeep rental company to ensure we could get our car that night. Kudos to the entire staff at Caribbean Villas. Thanks for an awesome experience! Just a side note about St. John: it is one of the cleanest and safest islands in the Caribbean. It's a small community and everyone knows everyone else and we never once felt unsafe anywhere we went. We will definitely be back as we will use St. John and, hopefully, Casa Del Sol as home base to explore more of the British Virgin Isles! Also, I was hesitant to rent the property because it only had two reviews on VRBO, but after some research, I found that this house advertises on several different site with all great reviews, so don't let that sway you from renting this truly awesome property!

Our group of 4 couples found Casa del Sol the perfect mix of togetherness and privacy. So many outdoor living spaces--both sunny and shaded--to gather and enjoy the views and one another. Indoor great room/kitchen wonderful for nightly feasts. 4 separate pods/bedrooms for each couple to have some privacy. The home is nicely stocked with all you need for cooking and dining. Beach equipment in good shape and in ample supply. Screens to keep the mosquitoes out. Only criticism would be the lighting in the kitchen is lacking for evening meal prep, but if that is all you can complain about in paradise, I think it's a pretty good day!

St. John and Casa del Sol were the perfect setting for the perfect honeymoon! We were met by tropical storm Bertha on our first day here, which was an island attraction in itself and had spectacular weather everyday since. We saw sea turtles at Maho on our second day, ate at Vie's and went on a horseback ride up through the hills (highly recommend). Our favorite was Salt Pond Bay. We went later in the day and had the entire cove to ourselves. We loved the Banana Deck and Joes in Cruise Bay for everything from drinks to dinner to deserts! Our hearts, though still full of love, will leave here very heavy, but not without a massage by the pool! We will miss St. John and Casa del Sol, but will be surely be back!

I skipped school for the opportunity to stay at Casa del Sol and it was one of the better school skipping decisions I've made! Casa del Sol, or Heaven, as I call it is beyond paradise. There are few words to describe it that do it justice. I had a fantastic time with my family and given the chance would skip school again for it! Even my teachers understood when I emailed them a picture haha. Pictures can't capture the beauty of this place any better than words can describe it. i leave with a very heavy heart but cherish the time I was allowed to spend here. I thank everyone responsible for me being allowed to spend a couple days in heaven. I highly recommend star gazing. Few places anymore have a night time view like there is here! Back to oh so cold Michigan! :(

This house is amazing! The 8 in our party enjoyed a wonderful week! Days at the pool or beach - very enjoyable. Dancing on the pool deck at night under the stars - awesome! Hope to be back again next year. Same time, same place, same friends!

What a great house and beautiful island! We had a marvelous time! Loved the view from the upstairs veranda while drinking morning coffee - will be hard to replicate! (until we return that is!!!) We totally enjoyed ourselves!

My family of four plus my in laws rented Casa Del Sol in the brutal winter of 2015 and after a week in this magnificent house we felt like we had died and gone to heaven. We have rented other villas in Hawkesnest Bay and Peter Bay on St. John and they were great, but after suffering through the winter from hell we asked our villa advisor to find us a 4 bedroom house that would get lots of that beautiful St. John sunshine and be not more than 10 minutes from Cruz Bay. Kris, our villa expert at Caribbean Villas and Resorts highly recommended this home and it was spot on the best villa we have ever rented. The house looks stunning, with lots of gorgeous stonework and beautiful mahogany doors and windows. It was obvious that the owners love, love, love their home because it was just so perfect. This house is definitely a classy affair. The bedrooms gave us a lot of privacy and were quite elegant and very comfortable. The adults stayed in the upstairs bedrooms and our two boys stayed in the 2 bedrooms on the pool deck and everyone had lots of space to themselves, which is important for this extended family. The wet bar at the pool got a lot of use, maybe a bit too much, we fired up the grill every day and we loved the house so much that we spent 4 of our seven days at Casa just enjoying the warm sunshine and pool, the amazing views, gentle trade winds and each other, and of course, the poolside wet bar. As usual we spent too much time in the sun and got a bit too pink, so we hid under the covered deck for a day but still enjoyed being outside all day in a bikini on four of the coldest days of the year in Chicago. This was a magnificent house and an absolute dream of a vacation. Thank you so much Kris, St. John and Casa Del Sol and we’ll definitely be back next winter – same time, same place!
