This place has it all! There is so much to do that we didn't even get to enjoy it all. We were amazed to find literally everything (and more) that we thought we might need to bring. It is a wonderful place and I certainly hope to be back in the future!

My line sisters and I celebrated our Deltaversary at the Big Lake House and it was everything we expected. The house was simply beautiful and we had more than enough space from planned actives and sleeping. There was nothing we needed that we could not find inside the home and whenever I texted, the property manager was always responsive. Several have expressed interest in reserving the home for their own family events in the future. Thank you for a very beautiful experience.

House was best ever! Hired Chef was.superb! Amenities excellent, varied, woth many, many choices gor all ages! Lake was shallow and muddy, but beyond owners control.

Our large family could easily fit in this beautiful home and the grandchildren loved the "dorm" rooms. I've never stayed in a house that provided everything - plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, hair dryers, toiletry supplies, dishwasher soap, etc. for the week - amazing. The large covered porch was great for eating meals and hanging out. The lake is quite shallow so swimming wasn't as easy for some, but everyone had a wonderful time.

Everything you needed was there. Awesome place for our family reunion. Kids had a variety of things to do as well as the adults.

The place is beautiful and the attention to your needs is outstanding. Best place we have ever stayed at as a group. If something is not right all you have to do is contact them and they are right on it to fix it. 5 star all the way.

We try to get together as a family once a year and this was a great property to bring us all together. The facility is so completely stocked that all we needed to do was have fun......and we did. It will be really difficult to find another property that can compare with this properties standards. Dave and Ann removed all the "stress" of making sure everyone had what they needed down to trash bags and a dumpster (which I found very helpful). Your local staff was great to communicate with and to work with. Thank you for sharing your property with my family.

This house did not disappoint! Phenomenal house, location, and owners. Was everything perfect? Close. Did the owners respond and resolve each issue/request extremely quickly? Yes! Within minutes, I had an answer to my question or a plan in place to resolve the issue. I would recommended renting the boat through the owners. It’s delivered and picked up straight to the property (including a nice walkthrough). If our plans take us back to Lake Weiss, we would rent this house 100 out of 100 times!

What a wonderful week we had! We were traveling with over 20 folks ages 1-91 and everyone had everything they needed. It was a wonderful spot and we were able to get all questions easily answered! We will be back for sure.

This property is absolutely amazing. I have stayed in many VRBO properties, but this one is at the top of the list. Everything you could ever need is supplied and provided. It is immaculately clean, and very up-to-date. Having the private beach on the lake was ideal. The owners were very gracious and easy to work with. Will hopefully be returning next year!

The owners thought of everything! Such a great place. I highly recommend it. The adults sat on the deck in front of the fire pit almost the entire trip. Teenagers played pool and the youngest played on the playground. It was a little too cold to enjoy getting out on the lake for us.

This is a fantastic place for a retreat. This is our second year coming to this house and every person on the trip raved about how beautiful and well stocked the home is. We love this home!

This is an amazing house and so well equipped for a big group. It has tons of seating, blankets, towels, tea and coffee, kitchen ware and basics like toilet paper which made the whole experience so easy and relaxing. It also felt so clean and organized. The only negative was music coming from next door that lasted into the night.

An incredibly spacious property with enough room for everyone. We had a great time and really enjoyed the kitchen and enormous back porch.

Could not have asked for anything nicer. Much nicer than a fancy hotel! All was included. All we had to carry was food and clothes. Only thing disappointing was the water level was down and our grandsons were counting on fishing from the pier. Is it always down during Christmas vacation? Can't wait to vacation again there.

Despite disappointment at the impracticality of outdoor activities we were hoping for at our family's Christmas reunion (single digit temps put the kabosh on that plan!), there was plenty of room and opportunities indoors for the 30 of us, representing all ages. Everyone went home happy and, according to feedback thus far, hoping to return.

This property was amazing! The owners thought of everything to accommodate guests of all ages. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, and everyone wants to come back sometime during the summer. This property is perfect for a large family or a large group. I highly recommend this property!

We recently stayed here for our annual Housechurch cabin weekend, and the house far exceeded our expectations. Our Housechurch is a group of men and women, some married couples, and three 9 month old babies and it fit us all perfectly. It was completely stocked with all of our needs for cooking, entertaining, and just enjoying time together. The house was also beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel cozy and was great for our white elephant gift exchange we do every year. It is definitely somewhere we will be considering for next year. I also have to mention how kind and accommodating Ann and Dave were in the entire process and making sure we were all set for an enjoyable weekend! Highly recommend!

The property was fantastic! We loved the seclusion. There are other houses nearby, but it still felt so private. They have thought everything out so well to make sure almost every need was perfectly met! Checkout was also a breeze! We will definitely be returning for another large family outing!

All 20 of my 4 sons and families were overwhelmed by every detail of this house! Kitchens (3!), children’s games, toys, equipment, bedrooms, bunk rooms, bathrooms, back porch, fire pit by the lake, fireplace in living room, fire pit on porch, kitchen equipment, paper goods, 3 dishwashers, multiple coffee makers, grilling equipment, big screen tvs everywhere, dining tables for at least 40… Nothing was missing. The owners were available, and so delightful. My only regret is that we can’t get it next year because the secret is out😢

Ann and Dave were excellent hosts. Communicated promptly with us and really went above and beyond to allow our retreat to go well. Great place to go with a large family or big group.

This was our second year at The Big Lake House and we will be back. We appreciate the space, especially the covered porch with fire pit and the outdoor kitchen! There are all the possible amenities you could want and we have to remind ourselves not to bring the extras like s'mores roasters and even paper napkins and paper towels. We had an absolutely wonderful week at Your Big Lake House! Everything about the house and property was perfect. Dave and Ann were wonderful hosts, and the house was stocked with everything we needed during our stay. There was more than enough room for our group of 21 including 9 adults and 12 kids, and we really enjoyed spending time on the covered deck. We fished, boated (pontoon & kayaks), played volleyball, frisbee, basketball & bocce. We made good use of the hot tub and gas fire pit, and the huge kitchen (with seemingly two or more of everything) couldn’t have worked out better. Another huge plus about this house was the ability for our entire group to share meals around the huge table adjacent to the kitchen. And the kids just loved the bunk room and making s’mores around the firepit near the lake! We made multiple trips to Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon to hike and highly recommend these nearby attractions. Pizza from Tony’s Pizza & Subs just a few minutes away was good; fish from Kenny’s Fish Market was helpful since the fishing yield in the lake was minimal. This experience truly set the bar for our vacation getaways; hoping we get to come back again!!

This was our 3rd stay the at The Big Lake house. We love the view, the rooms, the outdoor space, how everything is ready and waiting for us. Our group can’t stop talking about how great it is!

This house was amazing! We were on Lake Weiss for our son’s wedding @ the Magnolia House. It was only a short drive away! The Big Lake House had everything our family (28 of us) could ever need! The house is set up for family of all ages! The kids loved the bunk room and loft! The kitchen was perfect for cooking for everyone! The outdoor patio had enough seating for great evening conversations! One of the biggest hits was the ice machine and filtered water at the coffee bar! Thank you for being so easy to work with!! We loved every minute of our stay!
