The apartment is great, located in ideal place to see the sights. Local restaurants are good and a short walk to Plaka and the centre but the best location for the Acropolis

Such a perfect location. We were able to walk out the front door to go do touristy things, pop back to cool off and refresh for dinner, and then head back out and find terrific restaurants. Beautiful garden area and rooftop that I wish we would have had more time to enjoy. If you had littles to get to bed or take a nap, this would be a lovely area to enjoy a glass of wine. Huge advantage to not staying in a hotel. Arriving is a little tricky since it is located off a pedestrian street, but owners answered our phone call from taxi. Also it was quiet with no street traffic. Thanks for a great stay!

We traveled with four adults and two children. This was the perfect place to visit Athens before embarking on our cruise. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere (Acropolis, Olympic Stadium, neighborhoods). Also, we shopped at the supermarket, ate at nearby restaurants, and relaxed on the rooftop deck in the evenings as well as the patio in the mid mornings. I highly recommend.

The location of the apartment is right in the heart of the Acropolis area and walking distance to the gate of the Acropolis and great restaurants and bars. There is also a metro station that can get you to the port for day trips to other islands (I recommend Hydra). The host is very communicative before your stay and will answer any question you have. They had someone meet us at the apartment at arrival and help us get acclimated. They also respond immediately to any request. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and can easily accommodate a family of 4. It is fully equipped with anything you'll need. We were very happy with our stay. Plus the view from the roof top is THE BEST!!!!

The property is everything it is advertised to be. Very clean, comfortable, and superb location. Completely met our expectations. The owner had given us instructions, written in Greek, to hand to the taxi driver making it very easy to get to the property from the cruise ship terminal. Our 3-night stay was perfect until we were burglarized on the last night. We left the property to walk to a nearby restaurant, an observant neighbor across the street noticed 3 men enter the apartment through the front door immediately after we left, raising her suspicions. We had left the door locked and also the dead bolt. The neighbor called the property manager, who lives on the same street, and he went to the property and caught the burglars ransacking our possessions. 2 burglars ran past the manager and out the front door, the other escaped over the rear wall of the courtyard. We lost passports, cell phones, cash, and jewelry. The owner of the property owned an adjacent home and gave us the use of it while we sorted out our situation and obtained temporary passports at the US Embassy. Athens is a very beautiful city to visit but I recommend taking the warnings of pickpockets and thieves very seriously, be careful with your important possessions at all times. Our losses would have been worse but not for the observant neighbor and nearby responsive manager. The owners graciously gave us the use of his personal adjacent residence to stay in while we got new passports

We rented the flat for part of our Greece holiday. The flat was in a great location - close to lots of restaurants, bakeries, shops, and a metro stop. We had a nice view of the Acropolis from the terrace, AND a view of the outdoor movie theater next door. Chris was a great host meeting us at the flat, helping with the checkin, and providing recommendations for Athens. We will definitely try to stay here in the future.

Perfect and safe location by the Parthenon, as a matter of fact you have a beautiful view on third floor patio of the Parthenon . Plus from the third floor you can watch a movie at the outside theatre next door! Very clean and host was wonderful and gives you lots of information when planning a trip. It’s a real gem!!

We loved this comfortable apartment with its roof-top view of the Acropolis. You just step out the door and there you are, at the foot of one of the most amazing places in the world. We walked the flea markets and visited the Ancient Agora and the Roman Agora, and much, much more. We'd do it again, any time.

Location, location, location. The apartment was nice, roomy and worked really well for our party of 4 (2 couples). It had all the amenities you would need for cooking, relaxing and socializing. The bedrooms were comfortable and separated for privacy. The views from both inside and on the rooftop patio of the Acropolis were stunning as well. The top benefit of this apartment was the location. It was just a few minutes walk from everything we wanted to see. The restaurant selection close by was excellent and quiet. The Plaka area was a 10 minute walk when we wanted to be more in the mix. Our hosts Paul and Chris were exceptional and responded quickly to any questions or needs that we had. We had a great time in Athens and it started with the quality of this apartment.

We were two adult couples who stayed at this rental for a week, while we visited Athens and nearby cities/attractions. The location is perfect - within walking distance of the Acropolis, as well as great restaurants. The landlord was always readily available over WhatsApp. I would say that two additional benefits of this rental were undervalued prior to our visit: (1) the property has a private courtyard with beautiful trees/flowers; you have your own private garden at the heart of Athens! (2) the rooftop (shown on listing) gives you a great view of the Parthenon (day and night); we enjoyed a few meals/wine up there. Highly recommend it!

This was the most well equipped apartment that you could ask for and the best location. Everything was so convenient from our stay-- multiple restaurants, shopping and the view of the Acropolis from our patio couldn't be better. It was hard to believe that we were staying in a historic place with all the modern conveniences. Upon checking out we called Chris and he even arranged a taxi and was waiting just outside our driveway. If we were to be blessed to return to Athens we would definitely arrange to stay in this apartment. 5 stars Paul and Chris.

Perfect location! Just right at the foot of the Acropolis, walking distance to every historical site in Athens. We were there with our eighty years old father and never need to hire a taxi. Everything you need for comfort of your own home is here and more…feeling like you’re visiting your successful uncle and staying his nice guesthouse. To find the perfect VRBO property, we look for the following criteria: safety, comfort, size, location, and something that makes the property special. This booking exceeded all of our criteria. We enjoyed the beautiful courtyard, the spacious and cozy interior, fantastic views, and the location which was central via walking to all we wanted to see. The host was very helpful and kind before and during our trip. Two of our four nights we enjoyed the rooftop ambiance as we watched Top Gun Maverick and a classic movie viewable from m the outdoor theater across the street, also within view of the beautifully lit Acropolis. We appreciated the nearby recommendations accompanied by directions as well as our welcome basket! Staying at this vacation rental was among the highlights of our trip.

This beautiful apartment could not have been better for some weary travelers. We were in love the moment we opened the door to the garden courtyard which was the perfect place for dinners and drinks. The apartment was perfect with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. Steps away from so many restaurants - with a gelato shop just around the corner! Also the perfect location for a hike to the Acropolis and the shopping of Plaka - everything was so close and convenient. My favorite memory of this trip was watching a movie from the roof and having the most beautiful view of the Parthanon at the same time! Paul was the nicest person to work with and so accommodating. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants it all.

Everything and everyone was perfect. Location was awesome. Restaurants near by were great. Especially Senso! Chris was great. Came by later to check on us get pic of passport for local requirements. It was great to have a place where we could control the air & heat in the individual rooms. A 2nd remote for that purpose would have been helpful. We really appreciated Chris who was so polite & eager to help us, even getting us the perfect taxi when we left. I’m giving it only a 4 star because the pillows & linens need updating & there were some shower issues during our stay but I have no doubt these things will be immediately improved.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The overall 10 experience began immediately after I booked online. I had questions and received immediate responses from Paul, the owner. He gave excellent tourist and logistical advice It was so easy to communicate with him and that gave me peace of mind. Once we arrived, we had a contact in Athens, Christo, who met us and took us into the apartment to show us the lay of the land. Once again, Christo, was always available for help or to answer questions. He touched base with us almost daily. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is in the best part of town, close to the Parthenon, Plaka and Monistiraki. You cannot go wrong with this. Highly recommended and we would return and stay in the same place.
