This was a great place to stay at. Off the beach ⛱

This spot was perfect! Easy access to the beach! Beautiful sunrise and sunsets from your spacious deck. It was furnished with everything we needed. The grocery store is a short 10 minute drive away. We went fishing right in front of the beach house and caught a lot of fish. Even a couple of sharks. If you like hunting for sea shells this is the place to go. We will definitely make this our new spot to stay!

We LOVED our stay at this home! Home is cute, clean, and is well stocked. The view 🌊from the deck is incredible. Another bonus is that you are only steps from the ⛱️ beach. Can't wait to come back!!💕

Our stay at SunDaze was wonderful! The beachhouse was exactly as described, very clean and beds comfortable. The location was quiet and peaceful. It was a great trip.

Came down with our 2 kids. Everyone had a great time. The house is really nice, included all the comforts of home and had more than enough room for our family. The house was well kept and the location was perfect for us. Beautiful views from the deck. Simple check in and check out process. The place feels like home and we will definitely be back.

We had such a great relaxing stay! The property is directly on the beach which made it so easy to go up and retrieve things we needed throughout the day. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the privacy of the location. If you are like us and don’t care for crowded beaches, this is the place to stay! We will definitely be back!!

This is our 2nd stay at Sundaze and it did not disappoint. The view is incredible and just a few steps from the sand. We had an issue with the dishwasher that the previous renters had not reported and the maintenance crew was there within minutes to do repairs. The furniture is very comfortable in the living room and the house overall is very well decorated. This home would be perfect for a family (or families) with children, as there are several features and amenities geared towards small children. The bunk room could sleep up to 10 people and/or kids and there are other items included such as a portable high chair, pack-n-play, trundle bed in the main suite and a children’s dining set in the kitchen. While the 2nd king room could use a mattress upgrade, we found the other beds in the home to be comfortably. Overall, we would definitely stay again. Thanks to George for your hospitality!

We did a family vacation for our grandmother and had an amazing time. Loved the sandy private beach access so the kids could still enjoy the sand without worrying about them getting in the water this time of year.

The house was very clean and decorated nicely. The location is great !! The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing negatives were the beds are very hard and uncomfortable and the shower curtain in the walk in shower is too short and water gets on the he floor.

The house itself was not bad. Very clean and right on the beach, except the dishwasher was not working very well. All dishes were still greasy after washed twice. The location itself was not really that nice. First there was a major freeway right behind the house. You can hear all the cars throughout the night, right next to your ears. We didn’t sleep well. Second, the beach itself was not as good as those at Galveston. The sand was not fine but mixed with rocks and broken shells. You won’t be able to walk bear foot. Third, there is really not much to do on this peninsula unless you like fishing. We were so bored for just 3 days of staying. Over won’t come back to this area.

Overall pleased the internet not working for like 3 days wasn’t fun especially at bedtime to get the kids to bed. Had to constantly reset the internet and Wi-Fi for work. Master toilet issues not refilling. But nice place all and all.

House was super clean and functional. So peaceful and refreshing. My family and I had an amazing time. We would love to stay here again. Such a sweet spot!

Communication was great, with quick responses to questions and changes to the reservation. The location is great: right on the water with a clear (albeit hot!) sand pathway to the beach. While no fault if the property manager, there was some garbage on the beach was disappointing. It's not a super busy stretch of beach which was nice. A couple of home maintenance issues, but none of which affected the quality of our stay. I would stay again.

I’ve been to the Galveston area before and this was so much better! Being on the beach was a game changer. You can set up in the morning and go back and forth throughout the day. The kitchen was amazing, and coffee on the porch was a dream. The local store had everything we needed to make meals and enjoy total beach time! We will be back for sure. Oh, and the communication was great. I had a problem with the AC upon checkin but it was me being tired and not paying attention :) They responded quickly. AC worked great!

We had a wonderful stay in the cabin. It was super clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The views were great and it was right on the beach. The beach in this area is less crowded so more enjoyable.

The property was very clean and accommodating for our big family! The location on the beach and the view was awesome. We loved our stay at SunDaze!

We had a very nice time at this property, celebrating our wedding anniversary. The location is amazing! The kitchen was well appointed for cooking and the living room furniture is very comfy. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

The condo is good overall. Nicely furnished, decorated and clean. Very nice layout. Everything is updated and modern. The only bad thing we experienced was finding a thumb size roach under the sheet in the master bedroom. Our kids rooms have enough beds for them and they were comfortable and had no issue. As for the location it's on the east side of Galveston. To get to Galveston we had to take the ferry which was a good experience. It's very secluded and if you enjoy seclusion then this is a great place. We saw a handful of other tourists while staying there. It was so windy the first 3 days that you could feel the condo swaying at time. It's rated for hurricane but still we were just not ready for it. We used to stay in FL and it's a little different since all the buildings are on slab. It's our first time in Bolivar Peninsula and I have to admit I didn't enjoy the muddy water in Galveston. The beach wasn't suitable for swimming and it was just a little too cold and rainy during our stay. I am not sure how it is during the summer. The closest restaurant/grocery is 15 mins away.

There was plenty of room for dining and after dinner family games. Great place, very clean with nice likeness and towels! We will come back.

2nd time staying here! Had a much needed relaxing time with my husband!

Great place and location.

We vacationed with our family friends and their two boys. This house was PERFECT for our families. Large kitchen and island, plenty of seating in the living room, rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bunk room was a hit with the kids. The trundle bed in the master was a welcome surprise as one of the kiddos had just graduated from a crib and the trundle was perfect for him so he could not have to sleep in a pack n play. Steps from the beach and super quiet on the beach during our end of August trip (only neighbors for the most part). We will be back!

This fantastic beach house was super clean and the decor was so adorable! Right on the beach with seashells everywhere! My husband, mother, 3-year old, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

House was clean, cute, and had almost everything we needed. We loved being right on the beach and there were tons of shells to find. The only drawback was having to wait until 4 pm to check in and then having to check out of the property by 10 am on the last day.

The property was pretty much immaculate and very well laid out for family comfort and function. The home is located right on the beach - there's maybe a 30 second walk to the water! The views of the ocean and sky were beautiful and we loved relaxing on the porch, watching the storms role through and the sunrises/sets! The beach was clean and property well-maintained. Overall, I would recommend this property over any other we have stayed at on Boliver! A couple things to note: There was a minor issue at check-in with the pad-lock and not being able to get into the house. It took about an hour to resolve after having to drive to get cell phone reception in order to contact the property owner. Their response was pretty quick. Also, for light sleepers, the house is very close to the hwy (the master bedroom backs up to it) and traffic is noisy most of night. There was a VERY loud banging against the side of the house during the storms that lasted the duration of 2 nights. We tried to determine what it was, but were not able to. There were a few wet towels hanging in the master bath from a previous guest when we arrived - not a big deal, but I did choose to clean the shower again before using it. Make sure to bring your own kitchen basics like the reservation instructions say: cooking oil, salt, pepper, ketchup, etc.....or be prepared to make the Big Store your new best friend!!

Stayed here for our family vacation. We had a wonderful time staying in this house. The house was perfect for our family and being right on the beach was great. We definitely recommend anyone staying here. The owners were great and the house was just perfect.

SunDaze had everything we needed for a perfect beach family vacation!! The location was wonderful and easy to get to. The house was clean and ready for us when we arrieved The kitchen was equipped with all of the needed items! I would highly recommend this wonderful home!!

Sundaze is a pleasant property, right on the beach, in an uncrowded se tion of Bolivar. It has everything you could need including the view. Too bad the weather was so rainy! It is about 10 miles to Crystal Beach for shopping or restaurants.

2nd time to rent. Can wait to do it again.

Absolutely enjoyed the property. It was very clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. The master bedroom is located in the back of the home near the hwy so if you’re a light sleeper it maybe an issue. It wasn’t for us bc we are used to the noise of the city. The location was perfect. We spent as much time on the deck and beach as possible. ( it was cold). We didn’t have any issues arise so we didn’t have to reach out to management. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!
