The cottage is very nice! Nicely decorated, stocked with everything you need for a vacation. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

This listing is as it says. The place is larger than what the pictures show which was a very nice surprise. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay and would absolutely return.

Exactly what we needed. Quiet, clean, scenic place. We will probably return here for another weekend away.

Enjoyed our third stay at this property. Suggest that this time of year that house keeping run a vacuum to clean up dead lady bugs before arrival. Also advise renters that the cabin has cameras but that they are only outside. Seeing Blink hub under the tv made me wonder.

The Bear Claw cabin was as advertised. It was clean, homey, and the host provided all necessities for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our visits to nearby Helen, Blairsville, Anna Ruby Falls, and Brasstown Bald (the view at the top is worth the hike!).

The cabin was well kept. The area was very quiet and enjoyed the mountain creek. 2nd time in this area and will definitely come back. Will stay in this same cabin!

This was our second stay and will keep The Bear Claw Cabin on our list of favorite places to stay in Blairsville! Very cozy and perfect for a couple just wanting to getaway! Nice and quiet! The scenery out back wasn't bad either...very large mountain!

Cabin was the same as it was 9 years ago except big showner no tub. Quiet location. No frills just the basic rental equiped with what you might need . Quick instructions on using remote for either DISH or Prime would have been helpful. Bathroom door that goes to bedroom doesn't stay closed properly.

Property is very nice. Would recommend this cabin. It is located between Blue Ridge and Helen. Area is nice.

Perfect location for us. The cabin is much bigger on the inside than what we were expecting. Had everything that we needed for our stay except food. We enjoyed the open space outside and look forward to visiting again possibly this year.

Loved the place. Very well decorated and comfortable. Nice location. We liked it so much we booked another stay.

Overall great stay. Stayed here before and plan to return. 1-The bed could really use a new mattress. 2-The couch is not real comfortable. it would be nice to have reclining love seat. 3- The shower was a very nice improvement but someone needs to adjust the top hinge so the glass door does not rub. In the long term it may cause damage.

The place could not have been better. A beautiful, clean cabin in a great location. We had a wonderful time. Hope to come back and stay longer. Thank you!

Our stay at the cabin was quiet and relaxing. All we could hear were birds and the river.

We came to spend time with our grandchildren the creek was a huge hit. Very nice place would come again.

Cabin is very well maintained, Kitchen is well stocked for any cooking needs. Bathroom was very nice especially the shower, Very comfortable place to stay that looks a lot bigger when you walk in. Location was very convenient to surrounding towns, Hiawassee, Helen, Dahlonega, Cleveland and Blairsville.

Well built little cabin. It is in need of a really deep cleaning - all ceiling light globes had many dead bugs in them. The bath vanity sink had a leaky faucet. The bed "squeaks" every time you get in or out of the bed. The sheets are not deep enough to stay on the mattress so you need to remake bed every morning. The shower is great. Could use more lighting in the kitchen. Outside has several bug catcher containers that are almost full. Cobwebs and bird droppings on porch railings. It was nice to walk to the water every day. Biggest negative for me was that I was sick most of the week so we did not get to enjoy the area as planned.

I booked this trip for my husband’s 32nd birthday. We enjoy our rare mountain trips, but this stay was by far the best! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Bear Claw Cabin. It was perfect for just the two of us. It was immaculately clean and had every furnishing that we might need. The large, walk-in shower was definitely a plus! Our hosts were kind & friendly during correspondences; they made our stay comfortable. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

I've stayed at this cabin a few times before and it's such a peaceful getaway. So quiet in that area and the cabin is so well taken care of. The wooden bed is beautiful and everything was very clean. The back deck looks out into a field of tall grass that lights up with lightening bugs in the summer. The creek is just a short walk away and you can usually here it from the deck. I'll be back for sure.

It was OK

The cabin was cute and cozy and good for a quick weekend get away. The porch swing was great and the property was quiet so that was really nice. Another positive is that even though we had rain one of the days there wasn’t any issues with the internet or the TV signal despite the inclement weather warning on the listing. A couple downsides were that the listing made it sound like you can view the river from the house. You can absolutely hear it, but the house is in a group of 6-7 other houses so it doesn’t have direct line of sight, but you can access the river by walking past the other houses. The dishwasher also had a leak when we got there and there was an odor where the cleaning supplies were stored in the bedroom closet. Hence, 4 out of 5 stars. Overall a good experience and I would recommend it for a long weekend retreat for a couple

This was our 2nd time at the cabin. Nice job re-doing the shower. We love the mountains in N. Georgia. Blairsville is a nice place. It's a awesome getaway. Meeks Park, Smokin' Jim's, Grandaddy Mimm's, plus all the quiet you can handle. I'm sure we'll be back again.

Stay was great, peaceful, roomy and the big shower was definitely a plus. This cabin will surprise you.
