Beautiful cabin. Susan has thought of everything you could possibly need on a trip. Very clean and nicely decorated. The weather was unfortunately horrible every day. Susan had plenty of movies and games to help pass our time.We hope to stay again next year.

The property is situated just perfectly for us. Within an hour or so we could be to the many places we wanted to see. Fort Necessity, Coopers Rock, Arthurdale Morgantown. Only 20 minutes from Oakland and McHenry. The area in Friendsville where the cabin sits is very private. We really enjoyed " coming home" after a day spent adventuring.

We couldn't wait to return to this delighful cabin. The place is spacious, clean, and tranquil that has a good Internet signal, too - I was able to do some work (sadly!) on my laptop from in the back yard. Things we like to do in the area: exploring the Rock Maze, birdwatching in the Sang Run park, swimming in the Swallow Falls park, kayaking on the Deep Creek lake, whitewater rafting, and shopping at the Candyland! Boulder Ridge cabin is ideally located to all our favorite activities. We'll definitely return there.

The cabin is perfect. The pictures don't do it justice. Great location. Absolutely beautiful property. The cabin was also stocked with many things you may have forgotten to bring with you. We felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. Thank you for wonderful get away!!!

The cabin is perfectly nestled in in the woods and it is so quiet we could hear hummingbird's wings in the morning! It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Near enough to the lake attractions but out of the way to not be near the noise Great hosts!!

Well appointed with a cozy atmosphere. Loved the plush towels and the backyard bird feeders and trails.

Great alternative to an over-priced condo at Deep Creek Lake.

Rain or shine, we were comfortable the entire time- inside resting, outside exploring the zen trail, viewing birds, other wildlife and the beautiful forest. The view out the kitchen window is amazing! We look forward to returning to this cabin in the future.

We had the best time at the cabin! It's very private and clean. The paths on the property were perfect to walk our dogs. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back!

Me and my dog stayed at this cabin I could not have asked for a more perfect and clean secluded and private cabin. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I would love to make this a yearly trip.

This cabin was better than what I expected. The place made us feel like we were out in the middle of no where. It definitely gave a warm cozy atmosphere. My husband and I wanted to get away for a relaxing weekend. We were greeted with snacks, which was a nice touch. We watched streaming services on the TV, which was really nice that the owner made available for us. The place had nice comfortable sofa/loveseat. Very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the loft. Everything you needed in the kitchen to make breakfast/dinners. Lots of linens to use. Loved the screened in porch. It is very dark and quiet outside and it was nice to have motion lights. There was actually cell service and the internet worked great. Will definitely rent again!

It was truly a gift to have everything so well thought of what what we would need. No hassle getting in, they even had chopped firewood and a tip jar for it.

We’ve stayed multiple times at Boulder Ridge Cabin. It is obvious that Susan and John have poured their hearts into this cabin. Everything from the cozy interior to the meandering trails snaking through right on the property is absolutely perfect for a truly relaxing getaway!

Beautiful rides, beautiful scenery, quite little place in the woods! Close but not to close to town! Everything was perfect!

I planned a getaway for my partners 40th. After searching for weeks, I came across this beautiful cabin. I reached out to Susan, who was extremely helpful and informative. When we arrived, my partner instantly fell in love with the cabin. Susan and John

Even though the weather didn't cooperate (rain and fog all weekend), it was still such a great time. So relaxing! Thanks again!

Great cabin off the "beaten path." Pet friendly and friendly neighbors!

Although we didn’t have the best weather, we enjoyed the cabin and scenery! In the breaks of rain, we made it out to the bench to see a fox, a couple does and even a buck! The cabin was cozy and off the beaten path but not a far drive from deep creek at all!

This was our 4th visit to the perfect little cabin in the woods and we loved every minute of it! We packed light because we knew that Susan & John would provide the basics, like always. Linens, dishes, snacks and all the comforts of home are so lovingly provided and this is why we will come back every year. Our well-behaved dogs come with us as well and are just excited as we are to return. You won’t find a more comfortable, welcoming and affordable place in the area with the peaceful seclusion, yet a vast array of shopping and amenities just a short drive away. Thank you so much Susan & John and we can’t wait to return next September!
