Mario and Monica really treated us well while we stayed in their home. My son is 11, and he loved the loft area. The location is perfect - walkable to everything your heart desires. The laundry and workout room was so convenient. We had an excellent stay, and I highly recommend.

Very pleasant house. It would be really great for somewhat older children, they would love the loft. Every thing was neat and tidy, and instructions were clear. The on-site parking is a huge bonus. Only complaint, those stairs (puff,puff). I probably missed that detail in the description. I would highly recommend, it’s hard to find reasonable places in Ballard.

We loved the unique lofted beds which allowed both kids their own room. The place had everything we needed and the Monica even helped us wash and dry a load of laundry.
The neighborhood felt safe and super walkable. It was a great home base for all the things we did in Seattle using our CityPass.
Highly recommend this lovely spot and super kind host family. They took SUCH great care of us.

I found the property to be perfectly located for my needs. Having the entire top floor was nice and proved to be quiet. The kitchen was well equipped with drawers labelled to make things easy to find. I interacted with Mario a couple of times and found him helpful and friendly. There are plenty of things within walking distance including markets, places to eat, coffee shops and the great Sunday Farmers Market. I would stay here again.

Our stay was lovely and relaxing. Monica answered all questions, even during her important family event, and I appreciated the early check in and complete lack of hassle at this property. It is in a good neighborhood within a mile of all things Ballard. Will likely stay again soon.

The location of this property should be highlighted because it is situated in such a walkable spot, yet removed enough to have quieter evenings. If you visit on the weekend during the market season, it's a lovely little walk to the market and you're bound to walk away with something. There are loads of food options, small shops, and other attractions near the property that you could easily walk to or take a very short drive. Communication with the property owners was quick and clear, I also appreciated the transparency of the owners when construction started. Overall, very pleased with the experience!

Everything was great. Regarding the bikes, I didn’t know you shared them with other unit. It just so happens that there was no one in 2nd unit so we freely got to enjoy.

Pictures didn’t do it justice! Plenty of room for our family of 6. Beautiful layout and loved being able to have home cooked meals every night. Off street parking was amazing and plenty to do in the area. Would stay again on our next trip out west.

Perfect Fit
We stayed in Ballard for a little over 4 nights in late June 2022! The home was a perfect fit for our family with 2 teen boys my husband & myself. The home was clean & comfy and had everything that we needed for our stay! We loved Ballard and all the cute shops, coffee places & friendly bars and restaurants! We rented electric bikes (they were in abundance) and were able to see more around us at a faster pace & without having to drive everywhere. The Ballard Locks & Golden Gardens were surprisingly close & so cool. Mario was super friendly and answered our questions & offered advice on places to check out! The neighborhood felt safe to us even walking in the evening! We felt right at home like we were true Seattle-ites & would definitely stay again!

Everything we needed
We stayed in this property for a week on a visit for our daughter's college graduation. It truly had everything we needed: laundry (they even provide soap), dishes, parking spot, and comfy beds. It is only a block from a bus stop and was within easy walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, boutiques and beautiful park spaces. Ballard is a special neighborhood, for sure. The lofts are definitely more suited for young ones but proved great fun for my grandchildren when they came over. Highly recommend!

The two bedrooms and two lofts make a smaller flat seen much larger and appealing. Lots of light and an open feeling. It’s not brand new and there is some wear and tear evident but very reasonable prices reflect that. The owners were helpful and attentive. I would stay here again

Bus stop less than a block away gave us easy access to downtown, ferries, etc. Lovely walk to the Ballard Locks and adjoining gardens. We also did a longer but lovely walk to Discovery Park. We stayed 8 days and didn't need a car. All and all, a great place to stay!

Cute, functional, and well-maintained. The shower took a bit of figuring out, but we finally got it. Would have no problem staying here again when we're back.

One bathroom was a little challenging, but that's just family logistics. It's a wonderful place with great access to Ballard and drive to downtown or the ferry locations. If you have children at an age to go up to the lofts, we had a 9yo and 13 yo sleeping in the lofts, you will love this place. Ballard is one of best areas in Seattle. A ton of places to see and eat. You will enjoy it!
