We absolutely adored this lovely house. Lots of room for everyone. Tons of games, kitchen was well equipped. There is a beautiful deck for watching all the deer and a wood burning fireplace (with lots of wood supplied) to keep it cozy inside. We loved being close to WP/Fraser for skiing and the restaurants, but being able to be in the peace and quiet of the property when we returned. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive when needed.

The property was very nice. Secluded and within a short drive to RMNP and some of the other sights.

We had a great time at this cabin! It's a beauiful and spacious place and was nicely secluded even though it's technically part of a (spread out) neighborhood, which we loved. We had more room than we needed with ourselves and our two adult children. As we were there at the start of winter, we loved sitting near the fire in the stove in the evenings watching a little TV. They have a great office upstairs, but we worked at the kitchen table while enjoying the views... and played games there in the evenings. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom which was perfect. The house could have easily and comfortably handled several more people. The location was great - close to Winter Park and Grand Lake. Would love to come back sometime... I bet it's especially gorgeous in the fall!

Solitude and terrific views.

Our stay couldn't have been more perfect! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous inside and out and very clean! The views and scenery were amazing! The cabin was very well equipped with anything you could need to cook with. Plenty of firewood for the wood stove. The roads there were well maintained and easy to navigate. I loved staying near the western entrance of RMNP versus the estes side that's more populated and busy. My husband and I came for peace and quiet and beautiful scenery for our 5 yr anniversary and we got everything we could have asked for and then some. We definitely recommend this place to everyone and plan to stay here again. Rod the owner was so nice and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. It'd be hard for me as an owner to rent this place as I'd want to be there all the time myself. Thanks again!

We had a fantastic time at Rob & Starlene's cabin! The location is fantastic, secluded but still close to Fraser & Winter Park. We enjoyed exploring around the cabin, having smores in the fire pit, and spending all day on the deck. They were easy to communicate with, kept us up to date on their coming & going from the property due to some family stuff, and were just generally super nice people. The house had lots of space for us all to spread out if we needed to, but come together for dinner and games, which getting both things can be hard to come by. We can't wait to stay again!

Well equipped home with amazing views. The upstairs master bedroom deck is with the rental by itself!

House was amazing!!!! Great views, trail access and very comfortable. Kitchen amenities were sufficient, really enjoyed the cast iron as that’s what we use at home. Never turned on the TV’s. WiFi was adequate for basic browsing. Your right between Winter Park and Grand Lake.

The home was very accommodating for our party. Very private with spectacular views of the night sky and a visit from a moose and her calf. One minor issue with the water heater that the owner handled promptly. Plenty of towels, utensils, cookware, and dishes available. Wraparound deck very comfortable and spacious.

Great Home in a secluded area with INCREDIBLE VIEWS. Short drive to shops, groceries and restaurants. Home was very clean upon arrival and it has everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

We stayed at the property last winter, and returned this summer for a great get away. Enjoyed mountain biking, a trip to Grand Lake, bbq on the deck, great views, and family game nights. Brought our elderly parents and they had a gorgeous relaxing view.

My family and I could not have asked for a better stay. Beautiful property inside and out. Immaculately clean and well stocked. The home had all the amenities that we needed and the views of the Rockies were breathtaking!

Quiet and private. Visitors included two moose and several mule deer. And one really blue bird.

Communication with host was great from the start. Home was comfortable and spacious; everything was great. It was a big snow fall during our stay. Highly recommend an all wheel vehicle while there. Definitely would recommend to others and would stay there again.

I would recommend this location to anyone that wants to get away from town and embrace mountains. The home was perfect for a family gathering and the views are spectacular. We can't wait to book another trip to this property :)

Home is beautiful with beautiful views from balcony to wake up every morning. Very spacious with lots of accommodation for family groups to enjoy. Well equipped fire stove. Owner was very receptive to visitors questions or problems. I don’t have any major complaints. Very much enjoyed our time in the cabin. Suggestions I can make: kitchen apparatuses are functional but can use upgrades. Outdated coffee maker, crockpot, and electric mixer. Dryer was functional but malfunctioning and should be replaced very soon. It was making a loud noise when used. Otherwise, I would return to the home for a cabin filled vacation. We loved our stay, with great x-country skiing and sledding right out the door, and Winter Park close by. Amazing views. And the house was perfect for our group to cook and hang out together!

Beautiful property surrounded by woods and wildlife. It was very clean inside, kitchen was very well stocked. Loved the true cabin feel and the large rooms. We saw a 10 point buck two days in a row! He was up from the house just laying under a tree for an entire morning! The owner provided a pack and play which was very accommodating for a mom of twins. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and would stay here again in the future!!

This property was by far the best. kitchen stocked, firewood stocked, beds cozy, rooms spacious and location perfect for peacefulness.

We liked being able to spread out and relax in Rod and Starlene's great log home. The house was clean, spacious and well stocked, and we appreciated the peaceful setting and close proximity to RMNP and Winter Park. We went on some great hikes, loved cooking meals in the nice kitchen, enjoyed many sunset meals on the porch, and were even able to put the office and wifi to good use with some remote work. We wouldn't hesitate to return for another visit in the future.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous, clean log home with stunning views. With three bedrooms and bathrooms, it was the perfect for our party of 6 to stretch out and relax. The cabin itself was so secluded and away from it all sitting on top of a beautiful mountain ridge that some days we decided not to leave :) When we did venture out, we enjoyed the more laid-back vibes on the west side of Rocky Mountain NP and had relatively little foot traffic on our day hikes in the park. We also found great local breweries and distilleries in Fraser just a short drive away. Great communication and information from the hosts. Everything was a breeze! We'd for sure come back and stay again!

The house is beautiful! We loved everything about it and the view is gorgeous. We loved the proximity to the National Forest and I hiked and ran there daily. We hated to leave and hope to go back when we can stay longer.
