Neat, very clean, hot tub was perfect and ready, all appliances were in top shape beds and mattresses were very comfortable my friends said they want those for their homes now

This was a great family getaway. It felt so good to unplug from the world and enjoy nature. The hiking was breathtaking and fishing was relaxing. We had some much needed quality family time.

Jerry's place is amazing. We had a wonderful & safe vacation during the pandemic as the luxurious cabin. The cabin has a lot of privacy, but civilization isn't too far - so you get the best of both worlds. Jerry's recommendations were great and his hospitality is admirable. Can't wait to visit again.

The cabin was wonderful and the views spectacular. We had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We hope to return soon!

We had an amazing time at this lovely cabin! Everything was perfect for all of us...the horseshoe games, the fire pit, the hot tub, the Christmas decorations! The views are out of this world and we were able to connect with nature during these difficult times! We also appreciate the hospitality of the owners! They made sure everything was working properly and they gave us great recommendations as well! We are glad we chose this cabin and we can’t wait to go back! :)

This is a great house and a superb location on a hill with beautiful views. The decks are massive. The area outside is just the best - very secluded and perfect. Beds are all huge. Everything you could want in a weekend rural getaway in the wilderness. Def go hiking up the road at Beavers Bend National Park. Highly recommend.

As noted in the description of the property, the house is on a steep hill. What is not noted is that it is not paved which makes it even more difficult to travel. Three hours into our stay we were approached by security stating the owners were concerned about the number of guest at the property. I know that my contact info was listed when reserving the property. If the owners were concerned(since they were watching us on the cameras) they should have contacted me directly. You know, solve a problem at the lowest level possible. The house was equipped with anything you may need in the kitchen; however, it could use a dusting. The ceiling fans, window panes, even the flowers on the table were dusty. We felt like we were being watched the entire time. We did our best to enjoy our Thanksgiving and checked out a day early!

Jerry was a great host and replied quickly to all my pre-trip questions. The cabin was as listed with phenomenal views and great beds. Thanks for a great trip to Beavers Bend State Park/Broken Bow!

Our trip was short but we enjoyed every minute of it. We loved the fireplace and it was just so cozy!!!!! Will book again soon!

Property was fabulous but needs are as follows: Wasp and hornet spray is needed for patio deck. Also mattresses in all 3 rooms are comfortable but make so much noise as you either move or get up out of bed. Maybe replacing these would help.

We had the most restful and relaxing stay ! We came to celebrate a good friend’s retirement. We all work in very different fields- nursing- petroleum geology, and a family owned jewelry store. All of us were looking forward to getting away from the city- to take time and enjoy each other and the beautiful area around Broken Bow—— The cabin was beautiful, and very well appointed. Every detail was perfectly taken care of- it allowed us to toally relax and enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely come back!!

Like most, we were tired of seeing the far to familiar 4 walls of our home for the past 6+ months. This venture to Broken Lake and renting the Mountain Visa Cabin provided us the renewing energy that was sorely needed. We hiked, fished and got out onto the lake as well as had a spirited horseshoe set of games. I’m looking forward to a rematch for I believe the scorekeeper was unduly persuaded by their spouse!

This cabin is very beautiful and has all the little things that make a big difference! Big beds, soft sheet, fluffy towel, a top notch hair dryer, comfortable furniture and a well-stocked kitchen. The owners were very responsive and had lots of wonderful recommendations. This were a wonderful cabin to relax and enjoy the peaceful woods. Will definitely be heading back again!

This was just what our family needed to get away from all the current Covid stressors right now In Texas. The driveway is really steep, but adds to the allusion that you really are away from it all, while still being close to the lake and town. My three boys loved exploring the trail around the cabin and smoking s’mores almost every night. The hot tub wasn’t working which was a major bummer (the temperature wouldn’t change from 104/105 degrees, so it was almost too hot for even adults), but owner was very helpful in trying to troubleshoot it at least. Very nice views from the cabin. We had a great time!

We had a blast at Mountain Vista. The location was perfect for fun in Beavers Bend State Park. We appreciated the cleanliness of the property and also all of the accommodations!

This was our first trip to Broken Bow and we couldn't be happier with the cabin and location. The cabin is really nice and has just about everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. We prepared almost all of our meals there and is was stocked with plenty of nice dishes, utensils, spices, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The beds were all comfortable and the sheets were very soft and high quality, as were the towels. We really appreciated the s'mores gift package. We made a fire almost every night and the smores were delicious. There is also plenty of firewood. One of the things we liked best is that you can't see any other cabins that are around you. Sometimes when you are outside, you can hear other people if they are outside too, but you can't see anyone. Inside the cabin is very quiet. The cabin is on a very large, beautiful lot and you can spend time walking down a path right outside the back door and can also walk down to a stream. Some of the other cabins in this area feel like you are in a subdivision, with neighbors right next to you and some even back up to the highway. This one is literally in a forest and has amazing views, as it is on a hill. We would definitely book this one again the next time we visit the area. The owners are really nice and we appreciated all of their suggestions on what to do when you are in the area. If you want a quiet getaway in a comfortable luxury cabin, this is definitely the one to pick.

Mountain Vista is truly a hidden gem in Beavers Bend State Park. We couldn't have asked for a better location and cabin experience. It's a short drive to Hochatown and Broken Bow outdoor activities. Jerry & Sherri have thought of everything to make your stay a true retreat and their communication was excellent! I would recommend this cabin to my friends and family. This hidden gem is exactly what we needed. Gave us the opportunity to get away from the city lights and enjoy the stars. This really gave us an opportunity to reconnect with family and enjoy a few days of peace and quiet. The cabin was fully stocked with a lot of little extras that made this three night getaway awesome. The owners have done a great job with this cabin and were very responsive when I reached out with a couple of questions. We will be back!! Perfect. The kids and my parents absolutely enjoyed our time at Mountain Vista. It was impeccably clean, comfortable and a great location. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible and they didn’t disappoint. We’ll no doubt be back soon!
