Beautiful Mountain views and tons of gorgeous trees. The house was clean. Property manager communicated with us easily. The property was well kept. We really enjoyed our stay!

This property is perfect for a family. The views are stunning from the living room and yet you are so close to downtown. Place was clean and very accurate in the listing, I would definitely bring my family here again!

The view!!! This home has the perfect view. I watched the sunset every evening on the balcony and it was perfection. The home is tucked away in the woods yet so close to everything. It is literally the perfect getaway. The owner was very welcoming and communicated quickly. The home was clean and kitchen stocked with essentials. I cannot wait to bring my family. Enjoyed our stay here. The location is great as it is only 10 mins from downtown Asheville and about 15 to Black Mountain. The view is excellent and the house was easy to find. However there are a few items to note. *It says you do not need a 4 wheel drive car, you technically do not but there are some major huge holes everywhere on the drive up. Also the driveway is very tricky for multiple cars. We have a Chevy and a Ford F150. They have a few trees blocking the driveway so you really have to park the cars just right. There was not much room for the truck at all. I would suggest to just cut down the 2 trees in the middle of the driveway to make it more open for cars to fit. *The washer and dryer on site are rusting. Did not use because they were covered in rust. Maybe they worked fine but they 100% looked rough. We did see some wildlife at the house! Turkeys, a huge bear and lots of bunnies.

This open-plan house feels relaxing from the moment you step in, and the feeling grows as you notice the attention to the details by the owners. It was super clean, well-stocked with cooking needs, had an amazing view, and all the linens felt fresh. The woodsy location felt safe for kids and for evening dog walking. Perhaps it was only my luck, but I also had blue skies every day, even though other parts of Asheville had clouds. Highly recommend!

We stayed over the Holidays and it was perfect for our small family. Kept us warm in the cold snap we had. Downtown is 15 minutes away.

It was a little dated and I am not sure if I just missed the information but I think it is important to know that the loft only has a spiral staircase and both bathrooms are downstairs. It wasn't a problem for me because my children are adults. It could be a problem for small children or elderly.

This was a great property with a wonderful view. It had all the amenities of home inside and was as described. It's a ways up the mountain but a close (15-20 min) drive to main attractions such as the Biltmore and downtown areas. Core things like grocery store, fast food and a couple restaurants were close. Dish TV helped occupy our time the few evenings we were in the house. The 2nd big bedroom was up circular stairs and no bathroom up, so just be aware of how agile the people are that will be up in that BR. IT wasn't a problem for us. Host was very responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would definitely go back again!

Wonderful house and location, well supplied and furnished. Loved watching the clouds and fog pass among the hills through the bay windows. Great communication with property manager.

Family of 4 adults enjoyed the stay at this very clean and comfortable property. All amenities worked as advertised, great communication by the host throughout the stay as well as prior to traveling. Easy check in process and beds were comfortable. Recommend letting AC get a head start on cooling the loft several hours ahead of bed time and run the overhead ceiling fans. We enjoyed our stay and also enjoyed a really cool bear sighting on the road up to the house!

Serene location in the woods but only about 15 minutes from downtown. House is comfortable and spacious, although the loft gets too warm unless you crank up the air conditioning. Lindsay was super, sent lots of helpful information about the house and area, and was easy to communicate with.

This is a great property. We had no problems finding it, but it is far enough off the beaten path that you really feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle of town. However, when you need groceries, restaurant options, etc., they are right down the road. The house was very clean (noticeably cleaner than the last few homes/hotels we have stayed in) and was supplied with everything we needed for our weekend stay. Bed in the master was very comfortable. My family was particularly disappointed that we did have any bear visitors during our stay, but we have a dog and that may be why they steered clear of us. We did have a bunny that liked to graze in the backyard. This was a lovely house and we would definitely stay again!

We had such a nice stay at Robert and Lindsay’s property. Lindsay was very communicative and easy going. We wanted to stay in a remote place close to downtown Asheville and this was perfect for that. The house was spacious enough for my husband and me and we could’ve fit our 2 teenagers if we brought them. We had all of the amenities needed (minus toiletries) and a view like no other! It was GORGEOUS out there in the woods! We were 15 minutes from amazing restaurants downtown, 15-30 minutes from several hikes, and close enough to the Biltmore. I wish we had more time! I would recommend this house and any of their other properties.

When we arrived the property was absolutely spotless. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans and really sharp and good knives! Anytime I communicated with the owner or manager the response was absolutely prompt. Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and lots of really great hikes. Our favorite hike was craggy garden and also the pinnacle which is a very short and steep hike with 360° views. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

This property was so clean, cozy, & inviting…but with a view like that, we spent most of our time relaxing on the deck! The hosts were so hospitable and helpful, and the property had all the basics needed for our week of magical moments in the mountains! We would DEFINITELY stay here again, given the opportunity to travel back to this beautiful area.

We had a wonderful time in Asheville and staying at Robert and Lindsey’s house! The house was very clean, as advertised, and even had some coffee and other small items that helped make the first morning more enjoyable. Robert and Lindsey were very good with communication as well. Couple tips for future renters: > Goggle Maps stops the directions around 50 Fox Den Road. The house is a bit further up on the right. > If you have a larger vehicle or are pulling a trailer, negotiating the drive way can be a little tight. Thank you for having us!
