We had a very smooth check in/out. Hosts were in contact with us and the house was perfect!! It's like a home away from home!! We brought our own binoculars, however they had some there to look at wildlife that visits the property and to get a better view of the ships, Mt. Baker and surrounding beauty. We loved to drink coffee or just relax on the deck. Sunrises are beautiful from the deck with a spectacular view of Mt. Baker!! I would definitely book again with them!! 5 stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😊

It was a quaint little upper level cottage in a nice neighborhood. The owners live in the house right behind it. Marcella was friendly and helpful when I needed a different blanket. She also gave us ideas for the closest mall and beach. There was a heater/AC unit in the main part of the cottage to adjust the temperature, and a nice adjustable heater in the bathroom below the towel rack. The only problem was that they had someone else in the lower level unit while we were there, which wasn’t following their VRBO description stating that they would only rent the lower level to the people staying in the main part of the house upstairs. When I recently questioned them about it, they didn’t respond.VRBO advertises that you’ll always have the place to yourself. This was not the case. Otherwise, it was a pleasant place to stay!

The space was so adorable and quaint, and it had everything you could possibly need. It was beautifully decorated, and the views and surrounding area were beautiful. We had such a lovely time and 10/10 would stay there again!

I enjoyed my stay in this property. It felt like a home away from home - very cozy and relaxing. There is no doubt about the Superhost status because of their great attention to detail. The kitchen is well equipped. The view from the deck is amazing. If you like bird viewing and nature watching this is your place. The location in a cul-de-sac makes it quiet and private. There is a farm to table restaurant within walking distance. The ONLY thing that I DID NOT appreciate and caught me by surprise was getting a call at 10:06am from Marcella informing that the cleaning person was going to arrive shortly. The checkout time for this property is 10:30am - the earliest I've experienced. I still had 24 minutes of my paid time when she called. Also, their residence faces the rental so she could easily see that I was loading my car and taking the trash and recycling to the appointed bins downstairs. This was totally unnecessary in my opinion.

We were very happy with this comfortable and tastefully decorated rental. It is easy to get to, and from there it is easy to get to everything in the area. If you love lavender you will love it here.

I will definitely keep this property on the top of my list when returning to the Sequim area. Everything was exceptional! Just a short distance from town, immaculately clean and peaceful. We had a short conversation with Marcella, and found her to be most pleasant. Marcella and Gary are connected to the property, but never interrupted our stay. We did not use the kitchen but it seemed to have everything needed. The outdoor space was comfortable.

Great location, view, clean, thoughtfully decorated. I’d stay there again.

The VRBO listing advertised a washer/dryer. When I inquired about getting code to do a load of laundry, the owner replied that my 4 nights did not warrant having access to their laundry room directly beneath the apartment. I screenshot the ad and I explained that the listing clearly stated on-site laundry was available-and there was no mention of a 7 night stay required for access. At that point, the owner blamed Expedia merging with VRBO. The merge literally had nothing to do with me flying home with days worth of dirty, wet hiking clothes. Also, the place should probably be properly inspected as a hairdryer tripped a breaker. I was staying there by myself, so no other appliances were pulling energy.

We loved everything about this property. It was cozy, comfortable, well equiped and is in a great location. We walked everyday on nearby trails and when at the cottage very much enjoyed the views from the main space and the deck. There is a also a wonderful restaurant just down to the road. Gary and Marcella were perfect hosts!

We’re marking this place as a favorite to visit, didn’t want to leave! Hosts were very communicative and prompt. All around great spot to use as home base to explore the peninsula. We drove out to salmon la sac, crescent lake area, an hour away, and out to Kalaloch and LaPush beaches, 2.5 hours, a beautiful drive with stops of interest along the way, then over Tho Port Townsend, very close and pretty! We’ll be back hopefully soon!

The house sits on the outskirts so it has all the advantages of being close to stores and restaurants while having a semi-rural view and not feeling boxed in by close neighbors.

Such a lovely place. Very clean, great location. The deck had such a fantastic view and the deer in the field munching grass were great entertainment!
