We were impressed with everything the house and location had to offer. Secluded enough for much needed R&R, yet close enough to everything to enjoy going out. The house was clean, comfortable beds, towels, and a relaxing pool to cool off in. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed and extra night and our son and fur babies came to enjoy with us! Thank you Glen for the personal touches, personal greeting, and the snacks. Highly recommend for anyone wanting vintage charm with updated amenities.

Our family of 6 really enjoyed a short weekend at this home. Had absolutely everything you needed, we grill and enjoyed the pool and could not have asked for more. Did venture out to Squid Lips to eat out one night which is right on the water, and it was great, less than a 10-minute drive, I think. Publix and Walmart are not far at all to stock up the fridge. House is decorated mid-century which we love. Sat at the table and played cards and just really enjoyed some much-needed family time. We are definitely planning a return trip; the host was great!

This was a great relaxing weekend away with our dogs. From the moment we arrived and met with Glenn it was like stepping back into old Florida. The house is decorated in a charming MCM style with attention to detail. Fell in love with the Dade City Pine cabinets, so happy they have the house decorated with this style instead of the boring grey paint and granite everywhere. The homemade cookies were DELICIOUS and we wished there were more. Everything was very clean and everything well stocked, it was nice to have coffee set up with all you could need even with fresh cream in the fridge ready to go after a long drive. The pool was our favorite part of the house. Sitting out by the pool with all the trees was like sitting in your own tropical oasis. Quiet neighborhood where you can just sit and enjoy yourself away from the busy hustle bustle of the city. We also enjoyed the fishing pier just a short walk away. Publix was close by and very convenient to pick up snacks. Along with some great restaurants and beaches just a short drive away. If you’re looking to get away and unplug and recharge this is the perfect place to do it!

Amazing location. Very comfortable, quiet house, close to all. Fun decorations through the house, landscaping adds to the mellow environment.

Super clean, fresh flowers, and it was just like a summer vacation to my grandparents house when I was a kid.. except this cottage has a great private pool! Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!

Welcome treats were provided, including amazing cookies that we believe must be homemade! Glenn also gave us great local restaurant advice which was much appreciated. The house is small, but very clean, and decorated in a fun, retro style. The natural landscape is lovely and includes stately bamboo trees among other indigenous plants. The property is large and overlooks the beautiful, Indian River. There are kayaks available for your use, and a pier overlooking the river where you can sit and relax. The vintage, oversized pool is impressive, with Lion fountains, and has its own fascinating history. We also enjoyed meeting Brad, the peacock, who would visit at the window occasionally. The house is an idyllic vacation spot and we definitely plan to visit again!

If you love the mid century modern era, here is a wonderful Florida example! We had so much fun at Glenn’s place and he was the best owner I’ve had the pleasure of renting from. The house and location are spectacular. There are too many features to list but here are a few standouts: private pool, lush greenery, atomic era furnishings, scenic river, and the best homemade chocolate shortbread cookies! My family and I absolutely loved this sweet cottage with classic Florida room!! Glenn was an exceptional host and great communicator! This sweet cottage was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed. The pool was a refreshing, tropical hide away with fishtail palms, hibiscus, and sea grapes!! Husband enjoyed fishing from the community dock, as I walked our dog around the quiet community, and our teenager enjoyed the AC in a wonderfully decorated MCM space. We took a couple of day trips to KSC, Universal, and the beach but each time was ready to get back to the cottage and relax! Was so spoiled by the host treats, lovely salted chocolate chip shortbread cookies, tropical bouquets, and fabulous plantain chips!! Had to restock the plantain chips at the conveniently located Publix before heading home. Looked hard for Brad the peacock, only heard him though! Maybe next time will get to see him!! Thank you so much!!

Greeted with a welcome basket filled with fruit and homemade cookies and fresh flowers around the house. The home was exceptionally clean. The 2 sunrooms were bigger then expected. The pool was nice and warm at the beginning of March. 15 min drive to the beach. We had a great time.

This property is truly an "old Florida" experience in all the positive ways. We loved it and the location was great to explore the Inlet and Pelican Island NWR. The restaurants on Indian Drive offer great outdoor dining. A++

My girlfriend and I and our dog Shepp spent a wonderful month at Glen’s property. The house is even nicer than the photos show - it is truly a special place. We stay at a lot of house rentals and agreed that this was our favorite. The house is fully stocked for cooking and entertaining which was most appreciated. We can’t wait to come back. If you’re on the fence about this one you should book it. Ps - one of the best parts was a daily visit from Brad the peacock :)
