The host was very easy to communicate with and we enjoyed our stay.

The house was fine. The kitchen was dirtier then we would have liked to see and there was random stuff all over the house. We would stay there again though. All in all it was a nice stay

This property was perfect for out group! We came up for a ice fishing trip and there was plenty of space in a great location! We will be back!

Dan was a great host. Lots of room. We wish the access to the lake was easier, there are a lot of big rocks to navigate to get to the water and if the lake is rough it makes it very challenging. Unfortunately the wifi and tv weren’t working so there were a few disappointed bomber fans. Overall we enjoyed our time.

This was a great cottage for two families to vacation together. There was plenty of room inside and a beautiful yard for lots of activities. We spent a lot of time watching the waves come in on windy days. Close to both Winnipeg beach and Gimli if you want to take the kids to a bigger beach. Owners were super friendly and accommodating.

Our family had a nice, relaxing stay at this cabin, lots of room for everyone. Loved having the master bedroom and a 2nd living room on the other side of the house for extra privacy if needed. Would have loved to have better water access off the cabin, almost impossible to maneuver the very large rocks and swim, kayak/canoe, etc. but otherwise a great stay!

This property has an amazing view, but the yard needs attention. We had to pick up garbage. There are old fans, chairs, tubs, and other items thrown into piles throughout the yard. The cottage was clean, but needs attention. We had no cupboards to store our food because there was food that belonged to other people in there. The fridge still had some food, as well as the fridge freezer, which we removed and put into a small floor freezer that had other things in it. Very spacious, but felt a little over sold for the price.

Beautiful lake views, large lot, large cottage. Property manager was very accommodating and did everything to make it a good visit. Had a fun week!

Lots of space, beaches to walk or drive to and most amazing floor to ceiling wall of windows looking out at lake. Very quiet as neighbors were away. Kitchen well equipped

Great location, lots of space in the yard and cabin. Great place to host friends or relax and enjoy the beautiful view.

The kids used the firepit every night, and the barbecues for most dinners. There are restaurants near enough, if you don't want to cook. Although it is not listed as wheelchair accessible, we found it easy enough for a person with a walker to manoeuvre, as long as he had help at the entrances. Good experience.

Very good

The property is a good size for lots of different activities. The view of the lake is spectacular and fire pit a real highlight. Access to the water could be improved. The kayaks were great. The listing said that the cabin could sleep 19 but the rooms are tight for beds and sofa beds and not everyone found sofa bed mattresses comfortable. A few minor maintenance issues could be addressed. However, the overall experience was very positive.

4th time renting this cottage for a ladies weekend getaway . Only 45 minutes away from Winnipeg directly on Lake Winnipeg. Beautiful sunrises. Spacious, clean, and 2 bathrooms! Loved the place and this is my second time ,definitely coming back next year.

The things I liked about this property was a beautiful view of the lake (although there is no access to the lake), a large fire pit, spacious living room, large dining room table (we sat 10 comfortably). What I didn't like was the pull out sofas, once those were pulled out, there is very little room to get to the bed, the mattresses on these pull out sofas were paper thin, causing even a teenager that doesn't weigh much, much discomfort, the kitchen was okay, but lacked some things and drawers didn't close on some and there needs to be a solution for garbage. Each time we put out garbage (there was only one garbage bin that had a lid), animals would get at it. The garbage gets picked up every Monday, but with 10 people, you are taking out garbage almost everyday. It was a constant struggle to clean up garbage. Dan was good to work with, and if I could offer any advise it would be - get rid of the sofa beds! Put bunk beds in instead (double on bottom and single on top), it would be a much more efficient way to use the space. Also, the small living room is not used to sit in - you could put 3 bunk beds in there easily. I would also enclose the deck area so it could still be enjoyed during rainfalls. The other thing that is critical to find a solution is the garbage - perhaps a container that closes by the road would be the solution. Overall an okay property, but I would not rent again unless changes were made.

This was our second year staying with Daniel. He has made improvements to make to stay even more comfortable. The house is comfortable, located on the lake, has everything a person needs. Daniel is very accommodating and wanting to ensure a comfortable stay.

This was our second stay at this rental property. As always, we were treated great by the owner. Its a simple very nice property which is right up our alley.

As we discussed with home owner, improvements that could be made to the property would be a fish cleaning house, WiFi, and repair of windows in order to seal up and prevent cold draft. Overall though, we truly enjoyed staying at this property as it gave us enough space for 14 guys and our gear.

We had an opportunity to be a guest in this beautiful cabin by the lake. The owner exceeded our expectations. This cabin is huge can easily fit 25 people which is hard to find in the province. The owner was very accommodating and the price is reasonable. Very clean, has a very nice backyard with the huge firepit facing the lake. My family and I had fun. Looking forword for our next cabin trip :)

We rented the cottage to accommodate out of town guests for a wedding. Place was very large, with nice views, massive yard, in a great area close to Winnipeg and other towns/amenities. All was as expected/promised. Great for a large group, had 15 the last night and was able to sleep everyone in beds which was great.

My self and a group of friends have had the pleasure of renting this beautiful lakefront retreat for the past two years. The grounds and cabin have been spotless upon arrival. The owners met all of needs before and after rental with great communication. Lots of room for many guests. Two bathrooms for a group of women is definitely a plus. Each year have seen improvements that enhanced our stay. Kitchen equipped with most everything you will need. And great bbq! Very well maintained. Fire pit over looking the lake is great!!! Beautiful sunrise views as well. Would definitely rent this cottage again and as well, recommend it to anyone. Close to Winnipeg Beach and Gimli, and only 30 from north perimeter. Great value for the money. Looking forward to next year.
