Reviewer Comments: First the CONS of our 2-night stay at the Buffalo Lodge: - Upon arrival and after parking in the underground parking garage, we learned THE SOLE ELEVATOR WHICH REACHED THE PARKING GARAGE WAS NOT USABLE. This added an element of inconvenience primarily at the beginning and end of our stay – but affected us throughout because there was only 1 elevator for all guests.- THE SLEEPER SOFA WAS NOT USABLE. I messaged the “host”, Summit County Mountain Retreats, prior to arrival and requested a foam topper and explained my adult daughter would be sleeping on it and proactively requested the topper. I never received a response. Upon arrival, the first order of business was to see the condition of the sleeper, and it was terribly uncomfortable. As a result, my daughter had to sleep on the sofa itself. If you plan to use the sleeper sofa for anyone other than a small child, you have been warned.- The BEDROOM WINDOW HAS A POOR SEAL and results in a constant draft. It was bitter-cold during our stay, and the bedroom was the coldest part of the condo – especially the side of the bed closest to the window.- As mentioned in other reviews, THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE SHOWER’S WATER TEMPERATURE INITIALLY. I’m thankful one of the reviewers indicated the shower takes a long time to warm. I timed it, and it took 4 minutes and 30 seconds running the lukewarm water out of the spout before it got hot. BUT ONCE IT GOT HOT, IT STAYED HOT for as long as needed.- The ski locker for the unit has 2 broken hinges and needs to be repaired.Next the PROS:- The Condo was very clean, and everything worked as expected. Nice appliances and just about everything needed in the kitchen for an extended stay. Bathroom amenities were very nice, as well.- Buffalo Lodge is super convenient for skiing.- Communications from Summit Mountain retreats was GREAT (other than not responding to the foam topper request).

These people offer decent rates for nice places, well kept and clean. When any sort of issue should arise ( always minor ones ) they strive to get if fixed and they do offer an excellent feedback. I'm going for sure to stay again at some of their a solo traveller I wish, but I understand it's not an easy task, there could be some sort of fare for this kind of traveller. When you can't share rent, lodge fee, cleaning fee with someone else this kind of accomodations is convenient if you spend several nights only

Location was awesome! My kids also really enjoyed the amenities of the hot tubs and pool tables. The check in link was very helpful and I referenced it several times during our stay. The village was charming and easy to get around. Only negative was the hot water in the shower. After a couple cold showers we learned it takes at least 5 minutes for the hot water to come in. We would absolutely stay here again.

The location is great, it has under ground parking and ski locker making it very convenient. There are restaurants and groceries all in walking distance if needed and a full kitchen if you like to cook. I would definitely stay in this unit again.

This was a great location, within easy walking distance of the gondola as well as several restaurants and bars. It was also great to have underground parking included and it was a good price for the location. The kitchen was also well supplied, although it would have been nice to have a spatula. However, the bed can only be described as mushy, and the furniture in the living area was the same way. The walls were thin so you hear what your neighbors are saying and doing. The laundry had 3 washers but only 1 dryer and the laundry soap dispenser was empty, so there was no hope of getting clean clothes while there. Overall, next time I head to Keystone I will find somewhere else to stay.

Perfect place to stay where I could cook meals and and have some quiet downtime when needed!

We had a key card issue that caused us to spend 2 hours driving back and forth to the rental office just so we could get into the parking garage and into our unit, which didn't start our stay off well. Then, the elevator from the garage was broken, so getting our luggage to our room was very difficult. On top of all this, the first full day we were there, the water was shut off from 8am-1pm. These were some pretty frustrating expriences right in the beginning of our stay. However, we really enjoyed the unit - it was very nice, clean, and had what we needed. It was pretty noisy since all the windows faced the shops and restaurants. It was also pretty hot in our unit, even with windows open and fans going. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and the area, besides the frustrations caused by the 3-party management (HOA, owner, management company).

Reviewer Comments: The place was awesome unfortunately we flew in right when the blizzard hit and we did not get to enjoy all the amenities and the resort it was just pure bad luck for us we didn’t get to check in until 2 am because of all the closed roads and traffic. But I would highly recommend the place it’s in a perfect area to the lifts and right in the middle of the resort. Definitely will stay here again the next time we come back to keystone.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location to the gondola was great - such an easy walk for my seven year old after a long day of skiing! The amenities like the outdoor heated pool and hot tubs really elevated the stay for us. The property was well appointed and very clean. Overall, a great experience.

First, the WiFi is spotty and does not give a strong connection. We had to choose between spotty cellular data or spotty WiFi to be able to connect to the Internet. Not an ideal rental right off the bat in a 21st-century world. Second, the rental has a full kitchen, however, no oil was left for us to use while cooking. I consider oil as a staple item like salt and pepper is. I'd recommend the rental to provide oil. Third, we have the TV, but no way to use Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming apps. Between three tech-savvy people, we couldn't figure out how to use these apps. A dedicated guide on how to use streaming apps would help. Instead of all of us enjoying a movie together on TV, we resorted to individual TV time for ourselves. Fourth, we had a random blast of noise (alarm go off basically) from the AC thermostat at like 7:30 pm at night. There was no way of getting immediate assistance to get the alarm to turn off. I had to call several numbers to finally reach a person who said a maintenance person will reach out. After 1.5 hours of the noise blasting, we finally hear back from the Maintenance department. The funny part was the beeping noise stopped maybe 10 minutes before they called to address the issue. I don't know what this blasting alarm noise meant for our neighbors, but this was not pleasant, especially for the last night in. We'd like to be relaxing, instead of being bugged with the noise.
