We had an amazing time at kicking horse. The rental property was exactly as advertised and perfect for two families with adult children.

Our family of 7 spent five nights here and everything was amazing! David, our host, was quick to respond to a few of our questions throughout our stay. We did have an issue with hot water one afternoon and David sent someone out immediately to get it fixed all within just a couple of hours. Great neighborhood, beautiful house, and we used the hot tub on a daily basis. Thank you for sharing your home to our family; we will definitely be back!! :) Anita

Fully equipped and just as described however the front entrance stairs are difficult for seniors

It was a great place and we had an amazing time. The house is very well equipped and comfortable.

Probably a nice place for a skiing vacation, but the furniture , bedlinen, dishes etc. showed quite a bit of wear and tear. The stairs to the property are inconvenient and hazardous. It could all use a bit of an upgrade.

Home has enough spaces for family members of all ages

An excellent property well located on Kicking Horse Mountain! With lots of well furnished nooks and crannies there was plenty of gathering space and alone time space. The home was equipped with every amenity we needed and then some. It was a fantastic experience and a great time was had by all.

Big house, good bedroom configuration for 3 families with kids under 12.

This place has everything. It's spacious, has all the amenities, and is in a perfect location just a short walk from trails and lifts.

We booked this beautiful house over the Thanksgiving long weekend. There were 9 adults and 3 kids under 4. The house was perfect. It had all the amenities you could want. We appreciated having 3 living rooms big enough to visit in but separated for privacy if you wanted it. Loved the double ovens and 2 refrigerators. It was a 5 min walk to a playground and the scenery was incredible. I would highly recommend this place it was perfect for a family getaway!

This is a really stunning home with beautiful views and walkable access to the nearby resort. There was plenty of space for our group of 11. Kids and adults had plenty to do and places to relax. Huge kitchen for cooking with everything one would need. Everyone loved having the hot tub on site. Highly recommend. I would recommend provisioning prior to driving up to the resort since it's a bit of a drive to get back to Golden.

This home is a showstopper. It really is as awesome as it looks in the pictures. David was also a good host, responding quickly to messages and providing clear direction/instructions on the property and booking. Would highly recommend this host and property to anyone booking at Kicking Horse or the Golden area in general.

We picked Golden for our family get away in 2019 and booked this VRBO rental. We didn’t know much about Golden at the time. Then the pandemic and an accident delayed things to 2022. David kindly rebooked us for the following year each time. The house was perfect, though further away from the town than expected, but this was not a serious inconvenience. With 3 living rooms, there was one for the teens, one for the littles and one for the adults. The kitchen was big enough that the three families could cook at the same time and then we all sat down together at the dining table. Fun Golden activities included: hiking at the top of Kicking Horse after Goldola ride up, rafting with Glacier Rafting, the Skybridge, hiking at nearby Yoho National Park, disc and mini golf and not to be missed a trip to Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch. A perfect family get away.

Spent 3 nights at the cabin had an awesome time! The pictures don’t do this place justice, the cabin is huge! And Dave was awesome really easy to deal with, very responsive and even let us check-in a bit early. Will definitely recommend and hope to come back in the future!

We had an absolutely fantastic 3 days here. The host was excellent at communicating. Hot tub was so worth it and we enjoyed the large space with our friends. Each couple had their private spaces. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utencils. The shower in the master room was incredible! Highly recommend this host and their space!

Beautiful timber frame home with ski in ski out acces, walking distance to the Kicking Horse Chalet and a few restaurants. The house itself was perfect for us (three couples with a total of 7 kids under 5yrs old). Hot tub was a nice way to relax. Overall our stay was amazing and the host was able to give us a late checkout without any issue as there was nobody staying the next night.

This was a perfect spot for our family of 12 to have a few days vacation together.

Great stay, great location

We had a fantastic time at this home. We had 4 families and there was enough space for everyone. It’s a quick 5 min walk right to the base of the resort. There are 2 fridges and a large pantry so there is plenty of space for everyone’s food and drinks.

We ready enjoyed the ease and thoughtful set up of the garage for all the outdoor gear as well as the hot tub! Hope to go back.

We really enjoyed our second stay at this property once again this year. Love the proximity to the hill, winter walking trails, and the Nordic club to go snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The place itself was great, we did have an issue with the dishwasher being broken down for the whole week we were there and the washing machine had a leak but the owner was super quick to have a plumber come out for the washer. The hot tub is always a favourite place to hang out and we love the big kitchen and living areas. Will most likely be returning again.

We were all very happy with this property. It large, with many rooms and many common areas for people to hang out and gather. It is a short 3min walk to the nearest lift. David is a good and very responsive host

Huge house on-hill with excellent amenities and plenty of space. Loved the extra fridges, especially the full-size one right near the hot tub. Perfect for a group of friends with the option to set up two of the king beds as two singles.

My family spent Christmas here this year and it couldn’t have been more perfect, or my mom put it, it was a Hallmark Christmas. There was enough space for our large family and not only did the host provide a tree, but it was already set up with lights and decorations when we arrived. We’re grateful we were all able to be together in this space and highly recommend this property to others.
