Wonderful location in Door County and quiet being away from the "hustle" of the small towns, while still being close and easy access to everything! Clean and well-stocked house, with lots of amenities. Would definitely stay here again!

This a great lakefront property and really nice home. If the weather had been a little better, the outdoor area would’ve been fantastic to enjoy. Beautiful views of the lake. Having little ones, I really appreciated that this home had a lot of items for kids too. Property owners were very responsive, accommodating and easy to work with. would definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We had four kids under five and the property had space for kids to play and to explore nature. Property is conveniently located to all the fun Door County has to offer.

Second time we have stayed here. Property is so cute, and it includes everything you would need. The lake is so clear and clean. The location is awesome as well. Very short drive to any of the other towns. We will be back for sure.

Lovely and peaceful setting with a well-equipped kitchen and every entertainment need provided. We hated to leave, but left relaxed and restored. Perfect for water activities and access to all that Door County has to offer! Our hosts were attentive and responsive. We look forward to renting again!

We enjoyed our time at the Lakeside Cabin. Over all it was a wonderful stay. We loved being able to canoe and kayak right in the back yard and loved having a fire at the end of the day. We didn't realize the property was right off a main road. So we were a little bummed about that, but did enjoy the walking distance to Coyote Roadhouse (which we totally recommend)! The cleanliness of the house over all was good, but I'm not sure the floors were mopped. It felt very dirty and our feet/socks were pretty dirty as well. But those things I would say weren't too big of an issue to say to not rent this place again. All the other details made our trip great. The communication between the owners and us was also amazing! They were quick to respond and super helpful. I even left my DSLR camera by accident and they are willing to help get that back to me. Thank you so much for opening your home to allow us to make some memories as a family.

Went for a 4 generation family trip, was still a tad cold for swimming but found enough to do in surrounding bays. Fun had by all!

First of all, the hosts are fabulous. They responded to questions quickly, communicated clearly and had everything ready for our arrival… including having the dock, boat and water toys ready for us to experience Kangaroo Lake completely, even though it was early in the season. So much appreciated. They also gave tons of information about the home and surrounding area restaurants, attractions, parks, etc…and recommended many “must see” locations on the peninsula that greatly helped with planning our time there. Nicely centrally located to be able to get anywhere on the peninsula quickly and with ease. We are from California and very familiar with beautiful scenery but Door County did not disappoint! We were 9 adults ranging from 31 to 71 years old and all of us had a great time exploring all the area had to offer. The cottage is cozy, kitchen well equipped and the huge dining room table accommodated all of us for meals and story telling. We spent a lot of afternoons in the grassy backyard, sitting in colorful Adirondack chairs soaking up the sun, grilling dinner and enjoying the peaceful isolation and each other’s company. A beautiful location for a family to gather! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

The house had everything we needed to be comfortable and the lake views from the dining room every morning during breakfast was amazing. The location is off the beaten path in door county, but yet still super close to town, an organic farm, and amazing winery. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here for my daughter’s bachelorette party… there were 7 of us. This place was perfect. The location is in the middle of everything. The lake is beautiful and there were lots of things to use. The owners were great at communicating and left a very nice basket of local fare. There’s a restaurant just down the road that was very good. The kitchen/dining room was great for games an visiting.

Excellent location Beautiful lake views

We had a great time making memories at this lakeside cabin. We have 5 kids, age range 1-9, and the convenience of being able to walk out onto the lake is just amazing! Many vacations end up being alot of work on the mom, this was a great escape, relaxing and fun for the whole family. The older boys learned to kayak, the men enjoyed fishing, and the younger kids splashed around and enjoyed the minos! This is great vacation for families, but also there is much to do in surrounding area for all ages groups from zip lines to kayak tours to fish boils and the living -museum Farm. :)

We had a fabulous and relaxing time staying on Kangaroo Lake. The property was exactly as described in the listing. Ryan and Maureen were very attentive and quick to answer questions. We only had 5 people staying in the home, but it is spacious to accommodate many more comfortably. We would definitely recommend this property!
