Barb’s Loft is a lovely place for a getaway. Clean and well equipped. Short drive to many beautiful locations. This was a return visit for us and we certainly will return! Barb is a wonderful host!

We had a great stay at Barb's Loft! It's a very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well-equipped place and it was close to Interlochen Center where our kids were at camp!

My husband and I stayed in the loft above the garage and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. It was stocked with everything we could have wanted and the kitchen was well equipped. A short walk to the brewery and pizza restaurant in the cute town of Lake Ann and a short drive to Interlochen. The grounds of the house were lush and gorgeous and we were able to walk around it. We would definitely stay there if we visit again. The bed was a little hard to get into as it was nestled in between two walls so you had to get on to it from the foot of the bed. My husband and I had no problem but if you have movement issues you might find it hard to get into bed. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay.

The grounds are beautiful. Surrounded by flowers and woods. The decor in the loft is so inviting. Makes you want to curl up with a good book. I slept like a baby in the comfy bed. This accommodation is so charming, quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again without a doubt.

Perfect place to visit with family in Lake Ann. Great host, Comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, refrigerator stocked with drinks. Nice neighborhood in the countryside, near the Lake and walk to village grocery. Short distance to hiking trails: LakeAnnPathway, Bellows & Ranson lake trails. Needs TV instructions. Highly recommended

I stayed here while attending a choir camp at Interlochen which is an easy 10 to 15 minute drive from the loft. I was very comfortable here. Pretty much everything I could need was provided. Beautiful gardens to look at, cute dogs to pet. I would happily stay here again.

I would highly recommend this property in Lake Ann! Barb takes immaculate care of every detail and it’s very generously supplied with amenities. The location is so great for the Traverse City and surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful upstairs studio with a very nice kitchen bad living area. Place was very clean well equipped and the outdoor gardens were breathtaking.

We loved our stay at Lake Ann!! Barb has everything you need at The Loft!! The Loft is clean, trendy, and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again as it’s close to Traverse City and other towns to enjoy. Two thumbs up!!!

Barb was very accommodating to a need for a large salad bowl for a party we were attending and had many quality coffee, tea and water options. Well stocked kitchen included butter and olive oil too. Unique, attractive furnishings and original art decor.

We very much enjoyed our stay. I especially appreciated the very comfortable bed and pillows. Sheets and bedding were very clean. Barb was a gracious host and had the property ready for us upon arrival with the added touch’s of fresh flowers and a variety of drinks in the refrigerator. The small village of Lake Ann was quaint, quiet— Coffee shop and bar within walking distance. Away from the busy tourist areas but still close enough to enjoy all the fun in traverse city, Interlochen, and Lake Michigan. We would stay here again.

Barb provided a very comfortable apartment with lots of thoughtful touches. You can walk to the lake for a swim and visit the impressively stocked general store. Highly recommended.

My son was at Interlochen Arts Academy and I needed a place to stay for several nights. This was an easy 15-minute drive from Interlochen in the charming small town of Lake Ann, and the accommodations were really wonderful. There was nothing Robin had not thought of in appointing this beautiful space, and the gardens are gorgeous.. I highly recommend staying here!

The loft was very comfortable and clean. Barb thought of everything! We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the small town location. We walked just steps away to enjoy live music and ice cream. Make sure to bring bottled drinking water. Will definitely stay again!

Very nice little loft. Very clean and well put together. Suited my wife and teenage son and I very well. Barb was an excellent host and we will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

My wife and I stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The place was super cute and cozy and we really appreciated how nice it was. The check-in was easy and seamless. Would stay here again.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Barb's Lake Ann loft. Just like last year, the loft was immaculately cleaned. Barb provides all the little touches of home. Very friendly! We enjoyed our stay!

The loft was perfect for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable and the fold down sofa was fine, would be great for kids. Everything that we needed was available in the loft. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans and utensils. Then coming down to the patio and garden was a treat for morning coffee or happy hour wine.

Owner was nothing but amazing!! We had a last minute mix up with another location and I definitely believe everything happens for a reason because we ended up at the perfect place! Home is located close to town and beach access. The loft was beautifully maintained and super clean! Definitely top on our list when we return to the Traverse City area!

My teenaged son and I stayed here, and we had everything we could have asked for. It was a lovely loft apartment with a view of the beautiful gardens of the main house. My son slept fine on the sleeper couch, and we enjoyed making sweet corn and listening to the live music from the restaurant across the road. Very convenient location. Barb was friendly and helpful with ideas for where to hike.

We loved the Lake Ann Loft so much and are planning our return already! You are a 3 minute walk from the little town and public access lake area. The loft had everything you would need and beyond. Very clean.
