A practical place for tourists to lay their heads!

Everything about the property was as described in the listing. Owner was incredibly responsive before and during our stay. Flat was immaculately clean and the location superb — quiet neighborhood and easy access to many tube stations. You won’t regret booking this property.

This apartment is in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely assortment of shops and restaurants but was an easy and pleasant 10-minute walk to Soho/Covent Garden, the British Museum, and other tourist areas. It's also near several major transit lines, including the Heathrow Elizabeth line, so getting around was a breeze. We had everything we needed -- kitchen was well supplied and there are several grocery stores and Boots nearby-- and the size was perfect for the three of us. Liz was super responsive and her pdf document had helpful tips and brought us to some great local spots. We were lucky to have found this apartment, and would definitely stay there again.

Not a posh building but very comfortable small flat for two senior travelers. There were a couple of minor issues (door wouldn’t close properly because new floor had just been put in) but host always responded very quickly with excellent communication. We didn’t use kitchen a lot other than coffee maker and microwave (London has great restaurants…) but it seemed adequate. Neighborhood out of the tourist hub but easy access to the tube.

Clean apartment in walking distance to theatre district. I was unaware check-in time was so late in the day, 6PM, with no early check-in option available. Plan on finding a secure storage facility for your luggage while you spend the first day in London. The convenience store cleck she recommends does not have a dedicated locker. Instead, he keeps your luggage out in the open.

This flat is great - clean, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, etc. A short 10 minute walk to Oxford Street and just 10 minutes over from Marylebone. Cute restaurants and pubs nearby. Quiet street but close to everything. The lift was great for bringing up the luggage. The owner had a pdf filled with great information about the flat and London in general. Would highly recommend & hope to stay here again!

My older son and I spent five nights here on a tour of London. The flat is well situated near major attractions (e.g., the British Museum), multiple subway stops, and groceries. Liz is a very responsive host concerned with our comfort and quick to respond. Although the apartment accommodates 3, it is perfect for 2 people.

The one bedroom apartment was in a great location within walking distance to Euston station, British Museum and many restaurants and stores. The apartment had a nicely equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom was comfortable and had a large closet A key reason we chose this flat was that it had a combined washer dryer. Unfortunately the door mechanism froze and it took 3 days before their maintenance man could get it opened so that we could retrieve our clothes. This must be a common problem as the pdf instruction document stated that if the door became inoperable it is because one tried to open it when the locked light was on and guest would be charged to fix it. As a VRBO host I found this most disturbing to read especially when we saw that the pdf washer instructions were not for the unit installed. My wife and I downloaded the correct unit instructions and followed them carefully. Hence our extreme dismay when the door didn’t open after the door’lock light’ turned off. These combo units are apparently not of a robust design and definitely shouldn’t be used in rental units. In my units we use commercial grade washers and dryers. On a positive note the manager was east to reach and communicated well throughout our stay. She recommended that we use a taxi to first retrieve the key from the retail store before delivering us and our luggage to the apartment. This made our checkin so much easier for a couple of tired seniors.

The flat was very quiet inside and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and large. The area is very central with lots of restaurants and transportation options in the immediate neighborhood. We were only there for three nights and mostly seeing friends, so we didn't spend too much time in the flat and didn't use any of the kitchen facilities or TV. We had initial difficulty getting into the building as key fobs look different from the ones we are used to. Also, the shower operation was not immediately obvious. Both problems were solved after contacting the owner., who was very responsive. A shower mat would be very helpful as the shower floor is very slippery.

The location was excellent, Liz was responsive to our queries. But we found that the directions for the washer/dryer were confusing. Also, it would have been nice if more than just one roll of toilet paper had been supplied. Other than that, no complaints.

Construction started at 6:30 am. You can hear neighbours late into evening as all sound bounces off the roof top of surrounding buildings.

Our first time to London...a very busy 4 days seeing many sights...and coming home to a lovely apartment at the end of each day. The shower was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. Liz was a very responsive host and a pleasure to communicate with. The area was perfect...walkable to many restaurants, pubs and easy transport either by the tube or bus to many attractions. We would definitely recommend and would stay again if in London.

Excellent location-many restaurants, coffee shops and retail shops within walking distance. Easy walk to several tube stations. Apartment is well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Liz, the host, is very helpful and quick to respond to questions. We were able to check in a bit early which was a lifesaver after an eight hour cross-Atlantic flight. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

This is a perfect spot for a London stay. Easy access to the must see's in London.

Liz the property owner was wonderful to work with right from the moment we booked. She was informative and helpful. The flat was just what we needed. Fitzrovia is a great neighborhood. The flat is close to multiple tube stops, plus tons of shopping and restaurants. The property packet provided was full of clear directions, maps and helpful tips for travel/touring in and around London. We would definitely stay at this property again!

All the reviews and the host descriptions are spot on! No issues whatsoever and the host provides a comprehensive welcome packet that helps you along as you plan your journey. I assure you that you won’t be disappointed in this rental. We had a most wonderful time and when back in London we will definitely stay here again!

Great location to see London! Liz, the property manager was awesome to work! Upon arrival a few issues identified which Liz promptly took care of! The flat was comfortable and exactly as pictured. Liz provided a helpful packet of information and instructions. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for a full month and were overall very pleased. The flat had just about everything that we needed. The bed is quite comfortable, and the bathroom is small but has a very good walk-in shower. We were able to prepare simple meals in the kitchen, which is quite well equipped. The location is brilliant, and we loved having so many shops, grocery outlets, and restaurants close by. Having two tube stations nearby made it extremely easy to get around town. We particularly loved the local restaurants: B Bagel, DaPaolo's, the Charlotte Street Hotel (fabulous cream tea in the afternoon!), and the outstanding street food (weekdays in front of the American International Church on Tottenham Court Road).

Well located close to Warren Street metro, easy access to all the sights. Quiet street. Clean, neat appartment, worked well for us 2 adults and a teenager, who slept in the sofabed in kitchen/diner.

We enjoyed our stay in Fitzrovia. The apartment was perfect for our group. It was easy to find, near the tube, clean, well appointed and the property manager was super in helping us out when we had a problem (on our end, not due to any issue with the property). She was kind and caring and we appreciate her help immensely!

Really enjoyed my stay on Fitzroy. Loved the area, lots of great restaurants and pubs nearby. Place was as advertised and super clean. Didn’t love the key collection process but everything else was amazing! 5 stars for sure!!

Had such a delightful time in London and loved staying at this property. Felt very secure and comfortable in this neighborhood. The apartment was very well equipped, tidy, and super clean. The king size bed was soooo comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. We were 2 women that did quite a bit of shopping and were thankful for the space. Liz was easy to communicate with and made the process effortless with clear directions and valuable information that helped us get oriented. Look forward to returning!

A wonderful flat in a great neighborhood. It was sized perfectly for my husband and I. Liz was prompt and so many amazing restaurants in the area. And easy access to all of London.

The flat was nice and clean and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. Located close to main shopping areas, etc. easy to get around. The owner communicated often and was very nice. Overall a nice experience.

3 of us stayed very comfortably for 8 nights in this small but remarkably well outfitted apartment. The beds were comfortable; indeed, the sofa bed was more comfortable than most. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook, though we mostly ate out. In addition, there is a washer/dryer (small but functional) and dishwasher (which we never needed to use) packed discretely into the kitchen cabinets. The bathroom makes good use of space and the shower is excellent. Of course, it's the location that attracts one's attention to this listing in the first place, and that does not disappoint. The apartment is in easy walking distance to dozens of restaurants, pubs, bookstores, the British Museum, UCL, and more. Short walks will get you to the Northern, Victoria, Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith & City lines. Including the walk, most destinations in town were less than 30 minutes away by Underground. All in all, an ideal base for visiting London for the 3 of us.

Our main reason for revisiting is because of Liz!! We had a few minor questions we asked and she responded quickly each and every time. Also a power outage happened while we were out of the flat attending a play and she alerted us. When we returned to the flat the power had been restored, but the notification would have warned us in the event it was not. Thanks Liz and we'll be back!

This is a well kept, comfortable one bedroom apartment in Fitzrovia. The tube is two blocks away, St Pancras rail station (Eurostar to Paris) is a ten minute walk away and Fitzroy becomes the Charlotte Street restaurant district in two short blocks. For those who like to walk, it’s an easy, safe 25 minute walk to the theater district or to Regent Street and the rest of central London. Liz, the owner went out of her way to help when I left my keys in the apartment on Saturday morning. She graciously managed to have someone retrieve my keys and take them to a local shop, despite the fact that neither she, nor any of her employees were in London. I will stay here again on my next visit to London.
