We had a wonderful stay in the condo. There was a beautiful view! The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. We made most of our meals there and enjoyed the view from the balcony. The communication with the owner was very helpful. We would love to stay here again! This was a perfect location for our Anniversary trip!

We came to Maui over Christmas with the entire family and we all stayed in separate condos within the Honua Kai resort. It’s a beautiful and well maintained property with various pools fit for kids and adults of all ages. It was also nice to have Duke’s restaurant on property for a quick bite or drinks by the pool. This unit was gorgeous! The decor was the prettiest of the three condos we stayed in. My 80-year-old mother stayed in this one and felt completely safe and at home. She loved the gorgeous view from the lanai and sat out there every morning with her binoculars looking for whales. The doors open up all the way which was a nice feature. Also the kitchen had plenty of items for cooking and there were also items for taking to the beach. This particular tower of Honua Kai has a general store in the lobby which was very convenient! The other tower also has a coffee shop and small store that sells wine and liquor. The owner of this unit, Roger, contacted us immediately on booking to provide details on the unit and answer any questions we had. He was so nice, kind, and helpful, and always answered messages promptly. Would stay here again! Maui is pure paradise.

Me and my husband were on a trip to Maui celebrating our 20th Anniversary. We had a wonderful time at Roger's condo. Very clean, well stocked and amazing ocean views.

We had such a wonderful stay! Everything is just as what we read on the site description. Roger is so very generous and helpful every step of the way from the moment we reserved the unit till we checked out. We had to go back and forth a bit between two towers for checkin but it was caused by miscommunications amongst the bellmen I think, and Roger was always there to guide us through. It was such a beautiful view we woke up to every single day. The sofa bed was so comfortable for our 6-yr-old. We find the space perfect for the three of us. There are enough pools to go around for our kid and her friends who stayed at the same resort. The beach also kept them busy for hours, from chasing the wave to building all sorts of sand things. We would love to come back next year if circumstances allow! The parking is free and the location is quite convenient. There are stops and Safeway within a short 7 minute drives. We loved our stay and had all the comforts of home while being in beautiful Hawaii. We want to come back next year . Everyone was so helpful Having Dukes on the property is very nice and FUN.

This studio was perfect for 3 of us and super comfortable. The location was nothing less than spectacular. The host Roger was in constant communication from before I even booked up until I checked out. Breakfast on the lanai was awesone. The recommendations for where to visit and eat heloed a ton. We saw turtles on the beach in front of the property and even spotted a celebrity at the pool. I would recommend this condo to anybody and will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a tremendous vacation and stay!

Roger was great to work with. He was very responsive and everything in his condo were as described. Honua Kai is a great property on a great island and I will be coming back. Mahalo!

Great property

We stayed at Roger place for 7 nights and it was everything and it was absolutely perfections. The locations of this place is right by the beautiful beach. love all the ammenities from this place as well. We have been to Maui before and i have to say Roger place is our favorite by far. We will be staying here everytime we visit Maui from now on.

We love staying at honua kai. Unit 621 was perfect for my husband and I. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back again!!

My husband and I had a great stay at this property. It was the perfect size for two people but also had a pullout couch that would be great for kids or a third adult. The balcony had a view of the pools and ocean and was great in the mornings to sit outside with coffee and breakfast. The studio had everything we needed to make meals in the condo. Having access to a washer and dryer in the unit was a plus. The AC worked great on the hot Hawaii days! There was two beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a beach cooler available for use. The complex has a great gym as well as pools with poolside service daily from Dukes restaurant. We hung out at the quiet pool which is much more relaxing if you are traveling without children. The owner of the studio was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had and made it an easy. We would definitely recommend this place especially for couples or two people traveling. We hope to come back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo was clean and all prepared for our arrival! It has a beautiful view of the pool, garden and beach. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was nicely supplied with cook and serve ware. Communication with the owner and on island contact was great! We definitely will want to come back!

My husband and I just had a wonderful week long stay in Roger’s unit. Condo was very clean when we arrived and had everything we could need! Balcony was lovely in the morning for coffee and also had a beautiful view of the sunset. Would definitely stay again!

This condo is incredible! The view, amenities and location far exceeded our hopes. Great variety of pools and immediate beach access. We saw a sea turtle snorkeling right off the beach here too! This was a great place to stay in the middle of our 2 week trip. We enjoyed seeing the whales from our balcony, lunch at Dukes, the sunset on the beach and all while getting laundry done!

This studio condo in the Konea tower was wonderful! It had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. It was very clean and well appointed. Both the owner and property manager were very responsive when we had a couple questions. We could see the ocean right from the bed. What a way to wake up each morning. We also saw a couple whales right from our deck. And many more from the beach right in front of the property. We frequented Dukes restaurant on the property had good food and drinks. Also Ubered into Lahaina a few nights. Could easily grill or cook dinner at the condo if so inclined. It was great having beach chairs, umbrella and cooler there for days at the beach. The pools were also great. Awesome place to recharge! Would definitely come back!

We loved our stay here and had everything we needed. Everything was perfect! We loved the ocean view from the balcony and could sit out there all day watching the whales. So mesmerizing! We also loved how close it was to good good and fun activities. We will definitely come back!

This property was bigger and nicer than we expected. Absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. Fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful lanai. The bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable. Property manager was awesome. Highly recommend.

The unit was clean and stocked. Nothing spectacular but everything we needed was there. The bed was just okay (one side was way more broken in than the other) there were several pillows but not a variety to suit both of us, they all were very full so my husband used his inflight back pillow most of the stay. The unit was clean. I want to be clear about that. No issues with bugs- never saw a single one inside the unit or in the building. The unit could use new carpeting it is pretty worn and stained (routine wear and tear nothing funky), a fresh coat of paint (lots of general wear), and new bedding and mattress. It’s just time for a freshen up of those things. We were hoping the unit would have beach chairs and umbrellas, which it did but sadly they were all on their last leg and not fully functional.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a nice condo with any amenities you could imagine. The beach just outside the property was beautiful and some of the best snorkeling we did on the island. Monty was great and checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a great time while staying in Maui at this Vrbo. The condo was extremely roomy for the two of us and having a full kitchen was wonderful. The property manager was very helpful in terms of check in and check out. It was great to have on site parking in a secure garage. No complaints from me!

We had such an amazing time! Beautiful studio with a great ocean view! Had everything we needed, but a blender for some homemade pina coladas! Picked one up and gifted it back to the condo when we left. Can’t wait to come back! Mahalo!

What an amazing property. I’ve only vacationed through VRBO and other like platforms in the past few years and this is one of the first times I’ve really felt like I was staying at a luxury resort! Duke’s on site was great and we loved that we could walk up and get to-go-beverages from the bar. The property is huge and clean and the condo itself was exactly as described and well appointed. We had everything we needed. This is definitely a family-oriented resort. Kids everywhere. We weren’t bothered much because the rooms were really quiet and we could always find some quiet somewhere in the pool section. I’d definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed at Honua Kai nine years ago and we are still in love with it! The condo had a great view, and was well outfitted with everything!
