Great location and friendly hosts! Exactly as pictured and described. We usually stay with friends who have a Summer home in Frankfort but their home was undergoing renovations and they couldn't host us. This small cottage was just what we needed; a bedroom, bathroom, & kitchen. Very clean and close to everything!

This is the 4th year we've rented from Wil and Beth and the third time we've rented the Beach House. It's the perfect little place for our family of four since our boys are pretty young (3 & 6). The playground, shops, restaurants and beach are all a short walk away. The house is small, but perfect for a couple or family with little kids, especially if you spend most of your time out exploring. The property is always clean, the owners are pleasant and responsive, and so we keep coming back here every summer!

Wil was a gracious host and was very responsive to our needs, which was terrific. The cottage is in a great location and the surrounding area is very quiet. Unfortunately, the photos and descriptions of the interior were not very accurate, which is the cause for our low rating. Overall, the cottage needs a major makeover inside. Ceiling tiles are very old and one rubs against a cabinet, which causes flakes to come off the tile and into your hair or face. The carpeting throughout might be clean but the shag is so long and it is so outdated that it does not give one the sense of cleanliness. Lots of uneven edges of cabinets connecting to walls connecting to countertops, and fresh paint would help a lot too. While the Apple TV was nice, the reception was often spotty and I do not understand why a simple cable/internet hook up has not been done. The bathroom is incredibly tight (the toilet, sink and shower areas) and people over 5'10" and 200 lbs (I am 6' 3" and 225 lbs) will struggle to use the fixtures. Folks should definitely be warned about that as had we known, we likely would have looked for another place to stay.

This is the perfect property if you like to be near action yet want a quiet location. The cottage is clean and comfortable. The owners are available to answer questions. Within walking distance to stores, restaurants and the Lake Michigan beach. We enjoyed our stay and added this place to our favorites list.

We had a lovely time at the Beach House. Everything you need is there, and the Apple TV with Netflix was such a great add! This was our second stay and it was as lovely as the first. The owners are so friendly and the rental was very clean and we felt secure with our stay there during the pandemic.

The location is perfect. Shopping, dining and beach are all within walking distance. Cottage is exceptionally clean and hosts are very friendly. Would definitely recommend this property!

We rented two units from Wil and Beth for the same week. This particular unit was rented for a parent/grandparent that traveled with us. It worked out very well. It was the right size and right location! As with the other property, Wil and Beth were very easy to work with. The property was clean, well-maintained and just right for what we needed.

Perfect location to enjoy all that Frankfort and Sleeping Bear has to offer. Short walk to Lake Michigan beach. Beautiful sunsets! Close to bike and hiking trails. Great kayaking - get on the water early to see wildlife. Cottage was bright, cheery and very clean! Kitchen well stocked and outside a new gas grill was available. We cooked in several nights and found many great restaurants just a short walk away. Hosts Will & Beth were very welcoming and friendly! We truly enjoyed our stay!

This property is close to the main street in Frankfort as well as the beach. We walked everywhere in town. The owners thought of everything so if you didn’t pack it, don’t worry. It’s probably in there! Northern Michigan is beautiful and Frankfort is an awesome little town. Check it out if you’ve never been.

This is the perfect place to stay in Frankfort. We enjoyed being able to walk into town and eat and also walk to the beach. The house was very clean and the hosts were always available. It was the perfect size for us and our toddler. Big fenced in yard for our toddler to run around in. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again.

We spent a week here and loved it! Wil and Beth were fantastic and super accommodating to some last minute requests from us. The cabin is adorable and has lots of closets/shelves for storage, a necessity when travelling with little ones. There is a great park only a couple of blocks away that we walked to almost everyday. Downtown and the beach are walking distance as well. We can't say enough great things about this place and will definitely rent from them again in the future!

We rented both places and it worked out really well, my husband and I in the little Beach House, and kids/grandkids in Lake House (?) or whatever its name was. Both were nice and clean, close to downtown, all good! Loved walking, biking around Frankfort...great spot for a family gathering - other relatives rented another place close by and we had people from CO, NY, WA, and MS - and all loved Frankfort!

Wil and Beth were very personable hosts and there if needed. They provided many pamphlets and maps for the area which made finding things to do easy. The cottage was clean and well kept and had all that we needed including games! The size of the shower stall might be an issue if you are a large person, tho. We walked the short walk to downtown including the bike trail by Betsie Bay and to the beach. The beach is gorgeous with the pier and lighthouse. The sunsets every night are beautiful It is a short drive to Sleepy Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, which is something amazing to see, plus many other lakes and kayaking rentals. The downtown area is fabulous and very cool. Good restaurants, cute shops, ice-cream, and local draft beers available, too. We felt that the cottage and the town of Frankfort were a real find and absolutely fell in love with the area and all its beauty and will be coming back. Frankfort is a beautiful town, not too big and not too small and we had a wonderful stay in this cute little cabin. This was one of our favorite stays in all of our travels.

The Beach House meet our expectations. Although the weather was rainy and cold during our stay, this little cottage was comfy and cozy.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Cottage was small and cozy, perfect for two people. Only a couple blocks from downtown and beach.

We were happy to stay in this really cute cottage. It is decorated warmly and cheerfully. Bed is comfortable, heater works great! All that you would need is supplied. Nice to have a full size fridge and freezer. Nice to have TV available if needed (but there is so much to do in Frankfort area) I would just double check about linen availability. They supplied all for us this weekend, but said in summer for week long stays some people bring their own. Their are 3 homes on this property and all doors face a common yard. The walkable convenience to town is great. Met hosts briefly...very nice!
