My wife and I just got married last week. We were looking for something quiet with a great view to stay at for our honeymoon. This place definitely met every criteria that we hoped for! We loved seeing the sea lions and watching the fishing boats go by. And even when it rained, the fireplace kept us warm and dry. Thanks for the great place to stay!

This was our second stay at this property - it has everything you need for an escape from busy city life. Great amenities and modern conveniences, fully accessible to natural and more wild surroundings.

We stayed for four nights late September into October. The unit is as pictured in the listing; central location and unique architecture. Some things to be aware of which may be drawbacks for some; The kitchen is tiny and awkward, even for one person to ‘work’. The lighting in the unit is extremely poor. While the abundance of windows does allow a lot of natural light, after dark is another story. (Speaking of windows, do they ever get washed on the outside? I realize this must be quite a challenge given the architecture coupled with the marine environment) The central location overlooking the harbour is great for watching the activity and for being within easy walking distance of ‘downtown’ Ucluelet. However, be aware that this is a working harbour. There are fishing boats coming and going at all hours and a processing plant next door. This means constant noise from refrigeration units, trucks, boats etc. as well as some extremely bright lights at random hours of the night. If you’re a light sleeper, a restful night may be hard to come by. The location certainly provides a unique experience and the unit really is wonderful. No regrets.

This was our second time at this property. The perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary. It’s a beautiful space with an amazing view. The quiet, relaxed pace in Uculet set the tone for a relaxing getaway with plenty to do in the area- hiking, kayaking, biking, meandering along the beach…. The property itself was perfectly located within walking distance for a morning coffee at Foggy Bean and one of the most amazing dinners we have ever had at Pluvio. A great island escape.

We visit Ucluelet yearly and loved our stay at Black Rock Landing! Staying here is a window to the inlet where we enjoyed watching sea lions, bald eagles, and fishing boats offloading their catch. Hiking and meal experiences at Pluvio and Roar were highlights of this visit. The condo is cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hated to leave and we'll be back!

Fantastic suite the views are always changing so much to watch from the comfort of the suite, well equipped had everything we needed for our stay.

We originally planned to spend a week in Tofino, but changed our plans to stay in Ucluelet, when we found this property. I am very glad we did. Since we were visiting the area in December, we expected the weather to be cold and rainy. So, we wanted a place that was cozy, comfortable, spacious enough for spending time during the day, and a place that we could enjoy the water, even if we were to be inside. This place exceeded our hopes and is better-than-advertised. With the added convenience of an elevator (much easier than carrying luggage up 3 flights of stairs), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is hard to overstate the convenience afforded by its location. Its proximity to restaurants is hard to beat...and we had very good meals in Ucluelet (and Tofino, too). This was our first trip to the area, but when we return, we will book this place again. There is no question. It is excellent.

If a quiet holiday on the West coast of Canada is your thing, you probably can't do better than this property. Really well priced, beautiful spot.

The home exceeded our expectations. It is exactly like the pictures. Very relaxing. Lots to see from the panoramic windows!!

Spacious, clean, wonderful views of sea life, fishing boats, kayakers, seals, eagles. The condo has beautiful artwork. Loved the little balconies off the bay windows. One thing that could be improved is the lighting in the kitchen. Also, we had a hard time finding the Black Rock Landing because all the signs call it Whisky Landing. We drove all over Ucluelet before we realized Whisky Landing was what we were actually looking for. One day it was like experiencing a winter storm in June. It was so exciting - and cosy too - looking out to sea and watching people struggling to clean and make ready their boats for better weather. We loved this condo.

Just a great property all around. Right on the water, and there’s so much action going on with the wildlife of the area. Sea lions, bald eagles - both heaven for my photographer husband. Very comfortable - one of the best sleeps we’ve had in a long time. Very central and a close walk to the grocery store. An all round great experience.

Incredible views from this waterfront property. Our accommodations were fabulous, the space was immaculate and clean, necessary amenities provided plus extra touches. Communication with the host was efficient and check in and out couldn’t have been any easier. The location was very convenient with coffe shops, restaurants and grocery only a short walk away. It was a fabulous escape and watching the seals , sea lions and eagles just outside our window was the perfect start and end to each day.

What can we say... best location, fantastic views, nicely set up. Watching daily life of Ucluelet unfold along the water. Great sleeps with fantastic mattress! If you are heading to west side of the island look no further.

Perfectly located right on the water to be immersed in sea life and serenity. This apartment is clean, quiet, and a tranquil getaway for everyone. We didn’t want to leave!

The pictures really say it all. Every part of this place was designed and decorated with love. Ucluelet is a laid back fishing village. It was everything we hoped for. Walking distance to an awesome coffee shop and breakfast place. Incredible scenic walking in every direction. Lovely, friendly people everywhere we went. Loved it and will absolutely stay there again. Highly recommended.

Walking in the front door and being greeted with the open beam ceilings, the full glass views of the harbour takes your breath away. The fishing boats, wildlife all add to a most wonderful experience. Would highly recommend this unit and location.

Beautiful accommodation with everything you need. There is a seafood processing plant nearby which made it a little stinky but not really a big deal.

My partner and I had a great time here. The cozy fireplace was great in the evenings when it cooled down. Loved the large comfortable bed and everything was perfectly clean when we arrived. The one thing I would recommend is to bring a chromecast or Apple TV since there wasn’t much of a selection of channels and movies. Overall a wonderful place to stay in a perfect location.

The suite was incredible, absolutely perfect for our weekend away, beautiful views, amazing to see bald eagles and enjoy the sea lions while reading a book at the large bay windows. We will most definitely be back, highly recommended

Lovely condo with breathtaking views in the charming village of Ucluelet-

Simply stunning condo! The high ceilings and rafters are like nothing I’ve seen before; amazing craftsmanship. Many windows throughout to enjoy views of the sea, frolicking sea lions and otters, and fishing boats. Loved using the fireplace on cool evenings and/or sitting on one of two decks on warm days. I highly recommend a stay here and Barb was very helpful and responsive.

This property is a dream, very clean and picturesque... I wanted to live there forever. We were a group of 4 ladies on a business trip and this was the perfect place to book for peace and quiet. We all had sound sleeps and loved waking up to the surrounding water view every morning. The bed was so comfy and the girls that slept on the pull-out also had a wonderful sleep. We found ourselves making excuses to come back to the room and chill because it was so wonderful to be in this stunning space. I was really impressed with how clean it was considering the high ceilings and the large rooms. I was also impressed with the the amount of privacy that the main bedroom had. When we closed the doors it was a great sound barrier from the girls in the other room so we didn't wake each other up in the morning or keep one another up at night. Highlights: The dock just outside our room was lovely to watch the sunset from and the sea lions swim by. We found that there was always places to eat and options for our vegan travel companions even the small pizza place down the street had vegan options! (note that places do close early though so check the times if you aren't bringing your own groceries) Sunrise and Sunset were just gorgeous from all the windows and the seating nooks and cozy furniture was perfect for our crew to hang out and take it all in. Ucluelet offered so much more than I originally assumed it would, in way of beautiful pebble beaches, lovely store owners and neighbours and just in general it was really fun to walk through the town and explore. We had a brilliant time and I would absolutely stay again!
