This was the perfect spot, close to the beach (a short walk), easy parking, nearby shops and markets, and an overall quiet and family friendly atmosphere. The kids enjoyed the pool late into the evening. The house had all the essentials, including some items left by other guests…so there were also beach chairs and a foldable wagon. Our last night someone had taken one of our parking spots and we really wanted to make sure our pre-packed items were safe so we messaged Randy late and he responded quickly to follow through with enforcing their parking policies. Randy was attentive and helpful. Our teens are asking us to book it again next year!

This VRBO really impressed us with the fully thought out accommodations. They were completely stocked and had literally everything you could possibly need. They went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. From the fully stocked kitchen, including snacks, wine and a complete coffee bar to the provided toiletries and beach gear. Seriously, if you forgot something they had it. If you want a cozy place walking distance to the beach with a pool and don’t want to have to worry about a thing, this is your place. We had a fantastic stay and will be back!

This is an awesome spot close to the beach and a short drive to food and shopping. Plenty of room for 6-8 people to spread out or be together.

This property was so dirty. Trash on the porch, hairs on the sheets in the beds, large dirty smudges in the shower, broken towel racks, toilet paper holders, patio chairs, dishes that smelled like pot, and a package of marijuana in a kitchen cabinet. Would absolutely not recommend.

I can't recommend The Sand Bar enough. It's wonderfully furnished and stocked, the location can't be beat, and it's obviously well managed and taken care of. We're planning our stay for next year!

The floor was very dirty, lots food, sand and other stuff. It took us almost 1 hour to clean and mop the floor. I thought we paid for cleaning fee. The front door lock was broken, could not open from the outside, had to get in and out from the back door. There was no garden hose to clean off sand and stuff.

The place is very close to the beach and stores. We found the place dirty including beds, couches, and bathrooms. Not enough cooking utensils, bring your own if you want to cook. We even had to buy hand soaps, the fan in the King bedroom is broken. The bottom line this place needs a little bit more care and love!

I’m so glad to have found this place! Just a few minutes walk to the beach. It was great for the grandparents that they can walk back to the place from the beach anytime they wish. The place was big for a family of 8! Loved the decors, nice size rooms and spacious living and dining area. The balcony door upstairs was jammed shut though. It would have been nice if we got to hang out there during the night time, esp. to see some fireworks since it was the weekend of July 4th. But overall, I have no other complaints. We surely enjoyed our stay.

Second time we have rented this beach property! Always and good time, great location and perfect for our family.

The unit smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors were filthy. Have never stayed in a rental property that was so poorly stocked with items like kitchen trash bags. Several of the lamps had no light bulbs. The furniture was uncomfortable especially the beds. Over all very disappointing.

Good location. Walking distance to beach, and grocery store less than 5 minutes driving distance. This place was in OK condition but otherwise had a wonderful time here.

Home had plenty of space for my group. Pool was big & close. Beach was close, but not walking distance with young ones. Would rent again. Only complaint is when a cleaning fee is charged then you would expect it clean. The toilets & showers could have been cleaned better.

Great place to spend quality time at the beach!

We had a great stay at the Sandbar! The property was as advertised. It is about 100 yards to the crossover to the beach but not a big deal & it is a section of the beach that does not have cars which is really nice! The property could use a bit of love with little things like nicks in the walls, new coffee pot, coffee mugs, egg skillet but overall what I expected from a beach rental & we look forward to staying here again! Great wifi & appreciated the TV's in all the rooms.

Had a great stay at beach house condo! Just as described in listing! Only issue was the rainy weather which management can't control. Home was in great condition & super clean! Great surrounding amenities and places to visit!

We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Bar! The location in relation to the beach was great. The management was quick to respond to our needs and the condo had all the necessities. Definitely would book this place in the future.

We stayed here with 6 adults and 4 children ages 13, 11, 4 and 2 months old and we had an awesome time. The location is great, you can see the beach on the balcony and its within walking distance or a quick one minute drive. The condo was roomy and cozy and it had an awesome beach vibe. It was clean, check in was cake, the property owner Randy is awesome and very responsive. The salt water pool was clean and refreshing. This is definitely a great place to vacation with family and kids. I highly recommend this condo and of we return to Corpus, we will definitely come back here.

Wonderful short trip but would fo again

Coming in from out of town easy access to The Sand bar. I really liked the keyless door entry that locks behind you. The golf cart was a Blast. Our kids and grand kids had a Great time. Randy was very helpful and took care of any of our needs with the unit. Good A.C., comfortable beds. TV worked fine. Downstairs living area has plenty of room. Beach was great. A very nice getaway,

My husband, myself and all of our adult children were so comfortable in this townhouse. Plenty of room, cute beach decor, well stocked with kitchen tools, and proximity to the beach made it a perfect long weekend for our family.

My family, 6 adults, stayed in The Sand Bar. We liked the property because you could easily walk to the beach, prepare nice meals and just sit and visit with your family. Best parts .. great air conditioning and fans in every room. All of the appliances worked great. Water spigot outside to wash off your feet and sandals. Keypad entry for front and back door, so no worries about forgetting a key. Beds were comfortable. Great view from your deck. Liked the big living room with plenty of space to sit. And the Management team was immediately responsive to my texts. (Thanks Randy!) Why not 5 stars???- I rent all over the world and I only give 5 stars to places that come fully stocked. The Sand Bar like MOST condos only has a starter kit for disposable items - 1 roll of TP per bathroom, 2 kitchen trash bags, some paper towels, no laundry det, 2 dishwasher tabs. etc....BUT if you know you need to bring these things, plus all your spices, foil, plastic bags and charcoal from home, it isn't a big deal. Parts that need work: both back doors stick, some lightbulbs need replacing, not all the bedroom TVs can be tuned in, and clean under the beds please. Condo Complex comments: nice small property. Glad to have 2 reserved parking spots, easy to get to dumpster. BBQ grills were fine- glad to have covered picnic tables nearby to put my cooking supplies on and to give me shade while I cooked outside. Needs work: the pool really needs to be attended to several times daily. Many people come from the beach, hose off briefly (or not at all) and then jump in. The bottom is sandy and the water is pretty murky. I went in the pool, but would not put my head under the water. The question is, would I rent this place again, and the answer is YES! For the money and convenience, The Sandbar was a great place to stay.

Great place to stay

I was very unimpressed with the cleanliness of this unit. Upon arrival I had to sweep the unit because there was sand everywhere. There is no way they vacuumed the unit and I know we did not track all of the sand in that I swept up and dumped into the trashcan. I pulled a blanket off the overhead shelf in the closet and sand fell out of the blanket and on my head. The island countertop was also not clean. Makes you wonder what else was not cleaned. Coffee maker did not work.

Thank you so much for the obvious pride you have in this place. Our family loved it so much that I am planning to book again this month! The access to the beach was convenient. Everything was great as far as quality. Would have loved to have had a fluffier pillow, it was sufficient for rest but I am used to a higher thread count and fluffy pillow (just a small personal preference). Also, a can opener would be a great addition to the kitchen. We appreciate your friendly, and courteous staff and efficient processing of our request for information!!! Thanks again. #GoDers
