Loved the house, dock, and beach. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The house has a ton of room and the basement is set up perfectly for the kids to play and hangout when we're not on the water. Beautiful dock that we tied our boat up to after a quick jaunt over from launching at Hunter's Landing.

Enjoyed the lake vibes ,even though we couldn’t be out much. It was very windy and cold but we enjoyed the lake from the coziness by the fireplace. Great for our family outing.

The best part of the place is the backyard. It is gorgeous and easier to go down and up. The house is comfortable to move around and we enjoyed our stay. The host was wonderful to communicate with. The view toward Lake Anna is gorgeous from the house.

We truly loved the property and your prompt communication!!! Online it states there was a hot tub which there was not one when we arrived! The fire place did not work which was disappointing Becuase we hoped to have a cozy evening in front of the fire place!! Overall the vacation was amazing!! We would come again!!

The house was perfect for my family and celebrating our 25th anniversary. The location is convenient and just down the road from a restaurant and small store. The family enjoyed the property and all it had to offer. We enjoyed many hours fishing, renting a pontoon, kayak and paddleboard and relaxing at the boathouse which is a bonus. The house had just the right number of bedrooms and the kitchen was unbelievably well stocked with anything you need to cook. Felt right at home while on vacation.

Such a wonderful property. Spent most of our time on the dock just watching the boats go by. Very relaxing vacation. Can't wait to return next year.

We stayed here for four nights at the end of summer. It was a fantastic time and the property is beautiful! It was big enough that all of us could spread out and take a bedroom. The downstairs den area was great for kids to play. It was very clean, and plenty of sheets and towels and blankets provided. We loved spending time by the lake, and letting the kids “fish” off the dock. The water was beautifully warm, and perfectly shallow for small children to wade in. We were a little bummed that the grill wasn’t working while we were there, but the owners did reach out to warn us. My only other concern was that all of the house doors, even when locked, would still open from inside with just a turn of the knob. My two year old let himself out and was headed down to the lake by himself before we caught him. For older kids it’s not as much of a concern, so I didn’t feel like this was the owners’ problem. We ended up putting something like a chair in front of each door. Otherwise it was wonderful.

This is our second time staying here, and we hope to come again. One of my favorite parts about the property is the dock - you can stay out all day, swim, eat, and relax. Bud and Cathy are excellent, responsive hosts. Families like theirs are what make the VRBO experience great. We can't recommend this house/location enough.

We absolutely loved our time here. The house was spacious and very comfortable for our family of 5. The beach area was a great space for our two year old to play and enjoy the lake. The views of the lake from the deck are stunning. We hope to come back again!

Absolutely loved our stay at Bud and Cathy’s home. The reality exceeded the listing. From the minute we walked in you could tell this home is loved and lived in. It felt like we were staying at a friends house with so many tiny details thought out. The yard with landscaping and hardscaping was beautiful. We spent everyday of our stay on the dock using the little boat house with a fridge, the covered area and jumping into the lake! We brought our paddle boards and tubes and really had the most relaxing week. We rented a boat one day and docked it at the house after boating to the cove for lunch. I would recommend this home over and over again! We loved our stay! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

We stayed here two years ago, and again this year. The home is lovely, spacious, and well-stocked. The sandy beach down by the dock is perfect for kids to play. The bbq and fire pit were perfect for making dinner and a treat afterwards. Bud and Cathy were responsive and kind. We'd definitely recommend staying with them!

This home is perfect. Everything is neat, clean, tidy. The inside of the home is set up to maximize the view and use of the lake. The outside of the home has some landscaping that is very well thought out. The views from the deck of the home are awesome. The deck near the boathouse is a great place to have morning coffee. Overall this is a great place to rest and relax. The owners are to be complimented for keeping this home perfect.

This was a wonderful place for our Zoom Bible Study group to gather face-to-face. This spacious, comfortable home provided all we needed to experience a beautiful time of fun, food and fellowship. The amazing view of the lake and property set a peaceful and restorative atmosphere for our spiritual retreat. We look forward to coming back, especially when the weather is warmer so that we can experience more of the dock and waterside.

Group of six men five were retired, Four Engineers and two Firefighters. Went fishing all five days and had a great time. The lake house was perfet, all though we basically slept, most of our meals were at local restaurants. Could not ask for a better boat house, plenty of room for all three boats. Several of us are considering this location for a future family vacation.

Had a great time at this property. Few minor things that could be improved but it is a beautiful home, great landscaping and has a great boathouse for hanging lakeside.

We had a great time at this property. Only minor cleanliness issues when we arrived. There was not enough toilet paper and items such as food was leftover from previous guests. We also had to put the linens on the beds ourselves. Other than these minor issues, this property was just what we were looking for.

The owners were very sweet and more than accommodating on our last minute getaway for my mom's birthday with a quick response time. The house and the view were absolutley beautiful. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. The house was very clean and cozy. It was the most perfect getaway!

It was our first family trip to Lake Anna. We were so amazed how beautiful the area was and the house was gorgeous! It exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back and will want to stay at this property again.

Beautiful house for a relaxing weekend trip!

We had 5 men in our group on a striper fishing trip and the house was perfect in every area. The location was spot on as far as where we wanted to fish and the dock was more than big enough to accommodate my pontoon boat. We had plenty of space inside the house and everything was in working order. Check in and check out was a breeze and host was gracious enough at last minute to let us check in 2 hours early. Will definitely be booking this house in the future.
