We had a great summer getaway and really enjoyed the house.

My family and I stayed at this property for a week in August. The house met all of our expectations and more. It was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The house had all we needed for bedding, towels, kitchenware, etc. We would be happy to stay here again. The location was a bit of a walk to the beach, but it was easy to drive and there was always parking. I liked that it was farther from the beach because it was quiet and there was not a lot of traffic. This was our second stay at this house and I hope to schedule a third next summer!

We loved our stay last year, but this year was even better as we got to enjoy several upgrades including new appliances, additional living room furniture and a storage shed for bicycles and beach furniture. Mike and Michelle's home was again well stocked with all basics for comfortable daily living. The quiet neighborhood was an evening blessing for all of us after our busy days at the beach. The five or six blocks from the beach are too far to walk, but evenings without noise were a far better tradeoff for us. We look forward to future stays at this wonderful vacation home.

The description of the house was very accurate. The downstairs was updated and very clean. We had plenty of space to stretch out. Some added benefits including use of bikes, beach chairs, towels, and coolers for the beach. We will definitely return for a future vacation. Mike was very easy to deal with and had excellent communication with us before, during, and after our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed Mike and Michele's beautifully remodeled home. The home has a clean, modern look with an essentially brand-new first floor. It was well stocked with household staples, beach furniture, bicycles and a wonderful big-screen TV. The second floor easily accommodated three adults and a small child in addition to three first floor bedrooms. The grill on the back deck was great for us, as we enjoyed most of our meals at home. Some may find the five long blocks from the beach inconvenient, but this was more than offset for us by the peace and quiet of a quaint neighborhood. Weekend beach parking can be challenging, but it was no issue during the week. Overall, this vacation was perfect for our family situation (age range 75 to 3) and we hope to return next year.

This was a lovely, spacious property in Margate. The 15 minute walk was a little too much for our 4 and 5 year olds but parking near the beach was never a problem. There is a very nice deck in the back, two bicycles to use, a beach umbrella and beach chairs too. We had a great time! Linda and Family

The house was as pictured and described, the owner was accessible to answer any questions by text or email. We received very thorough instructions upon check-in and check-out. We were 7 women who do a yearly reunion in different places and this was perfect for us. There was sufficient parking and the house was fully stocked for our needs..

Accommodations were comfortable except not a lot of choice for tv selection and we had an elder family member with us.

We enjoyed our stay in Margate City—conveniently close to Ocean City and Atlantic City but a lot quieter. Thanks to Mike for beach tags and beach chairs.

Overall my family and I were stunned at the beauty of this house. We rented it for a week and it wasn’t anything short of what was advertised. From bikes to towels to bed sheets and beach tags the owners really provide you with everything you’ll need for your getaway. Very close to the beach and the boardwalk is just minutes away by car. The neighborhood is lovely and calm. I’m pleased to say I’ll be renting this home again next summer!

Quiet,lovely street in the heart of Margate, the quaint house filled our expectation for our week “Down The Shore”. We would definitely rent again.

We are from NJ but moved to Ohio about 12 years ago. We would visit Margate every summer for 2 weeks until Sandy came and ruined the house we stayed in. We were so excited to be able to come back and this house is perfect just enough space for the kids upstairs and adults down stairs. We never felt there wasn't enough room. The beaches were clean and having badges provided was very convenient. We would highly recommend this house and Margate for a great vacation! John & Michelle

We really enjoyed our time here. The house is very nice, complete with everything you might need, and very comfortable. Three bedrooms on the ground floor and a big room upstairs which was perfect for the kids. The Wifi worked well, no problems at all. We didn't use the grill but it was available. There were just a couple of things that made it less than perfect (hence only 4 stars) but once you see them, you'll understand that the place is almost perfect. First, the en suite bathroom in the master bedroom is ridiculously small. A very tall person would not be able to sit on the toilet without banging their knees on the wall. Second, there were very few channels available on TV. This became especially important to us as it rained for more than half of our stay. We really wished there was more available. Third, the house is quite far from the beach. We never had too much trouble finding parking (two hour limit) near the beach, but it's definitely not within walking distance. With regards to beach accouterments, there are plenty of chairs but the boogie boards in the house need to be replaced. Aside from those items, we really enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.

Michael's place is everything as advertised. This is the third summer my wife and I have stayed there. The neighborhood is nice and quiet as we like and close to all of our favorite venues in Margate and Atlantic City.

Very nice house in a pleasant residential neighborhood. Mike, the owner, was extremely easy to communicate and very accommodating. The house is roomy and clean with plenty of beds, bed sheets, towels and even beach towels (I do not recall any other place to provide beach towels). The beach tags, chairs and even a bike were also available. The wifi worked real well too. With many well positioned windows in the house and good amount of space between the surrounding houses the house was breezy and cool, so we did not even need the AC for most of our stay. I would highly recommend both the house and its owner. Luba A.

My parents rented this house for the week. My husband and I, our four year old, and a family friend all spent the week with them. There was more than enough room! The house was immaculately clean. It is a very comfortable, cozy house. We absolutely loved our week there and the owner was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We look forward to our stay there next summer....we've already booked 2 weeks!

Nice stay in crowded Margate, we hadn't expected such crowds.

This is our second year staying at this property. We love it. The kids have enough room to spread out and enjoy. The beach is close, as are many amenities. The property is extremely clean and you couldn't ask for a more attentive owner. Until next year... Thanks To Mike for another great year.

My wife and I had a wonderful two weeks at the shore. The pictures provided of the beach home were 100% accurate. It really is only a 15 minute walk to the beach. The house had everything anyone would need for a long stay. My wife and I were especially impressed with the correspondence from the owner Mike. All of our needs and wants were completely satisfied. We would have absolutely no reservations with renting this property in the future. While in Margate, make sure to stop at the Margate Dairy and Burger Bar, Steve and Cookies, and of course Memories in Margate. Aaron & Dawn
