This was our first visit to Barcelone and we had a wonderful time! The apartment was the perfect launching pad for exploring the city. Many of the places we wanted to see were within walking distance. This Montjuic apartment is elegantly furnished, comfortable, and quiet. It is also well located, close to many key sites such as Gaudi buildings, the Barcelona Cathedral, and many good restaurants. The apartment had all amenities provided and we appreciated the many niceties - fruit, coffee with milk, wine, etc. Rosa and Miguel were excellent hosts. Rosa made many suggestions which were very useful like tapas on Carrer de Blai and the t-casual pass. Finally, it was SO generous of Rosa to meet us at the airport. It took all the stress of getting to the apartment away after a tiring night’s travel. And Miguel kindly brought us to the train station at the conclusion to our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stress-free stay in Barcelona. Gracias to Rosa and Miguel!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Rosa and Miguel's apartment. They are beyond hospitable and welcomed us, picking up our family from the airport and providing an orientation to the apartment and neighborhood. The metro is very close which is convenient. There are many restaurants right in the area you can walk to. We also walked to Montjuic from the apartment and took the funicular up to Montjuic Castle. In regards to the apartment, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and having a fridge/microwave/laundry made our stay much nicer. Overall - highly recommended for your trip to Barcelona!

Rosa was easy to contact on WhatsApp, recommended taking a taxi from the airport, and met us at the apartment. She supplied the apartment with fruit, wine, bread, bottled water, milk and juice which was a bonus arriving in the evening. We felt safe and had an easy walk to several restaurants, grocery, public transportation and sights. Make a reservation at Taps for Tapas, a few blocks away, it was always very busy.

I would rate this host better than five stars. They went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The apartment was stocked with many little touches and extras to welcome us. They greeted us and helped us get acclimated to Barcelona, things to do, and how to get around. The apartment was walkable to many areas we wanted to explore and close to the metro for sightseeing further away. Grocery stores are nearby. Overall a wonderful experience and the hosts were exceptional.

This apartment was perfect for us and the hosts could not have been more helpful. They stocked the kitchen with a few basics and added some “goodies” as well. It was very clean and tidy. Many touches of home. A big plus for us was the 2 elevators! It is spacious and comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The location was perfect. Near the bus stop and Metro as well as several grocery stores and numerous restaurants. A special thanks for the use of a cane (due to leg injury). I couldn’t have experienced Barcelona as it should be seen; on foot. We highly recommend this apartment and it’s amazing hosts!

Rosa and Miguel were great, picked us up at airport. Explained everything, transportation in Barcelona and suggested some sites. Bought us milk, margarine, treats,wine and fruit. Explained city in detail, including where not to go at night. Area has metro close, buses close. Easy to navigate. Grocery, pharmacy and restaurants and bars within walking distance. Apartment tenants were friendly. Would stay again. Very comfortable unpretentious accommodation. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need. Shower was awesome!

We loved our stay in this cozy and spotless apartment. Rosa and Miguel were the best hosts ever. They communicated with us regularly in case we needed anything. Miguel picked us up at the Sants train station, took us to the apartment and spent about an hour with us showing us how everything worked in the apartment, and went over a map of Barcelona showing us the various sites to visit and how to get there. They arranged a taxi to take us to the airport, the best hosts ever! The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything worked unlike some of the other vacation rentals we’ve gone to. We were left with a bottle of wine, a large bowl of fruits, pastries, milk, tea, coffee, juice, butter, and sweets; so very kind and thoughtful. Supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops were all around the apartment and within very short walking distance. A metro station was only three short blocks away. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Barcelona and recommend our friends stay here as well.

This is a great apartment in a wonderful location in Barcelona. From the start, Rosa and Miguel were the best hosts we’ve ever had in a VRBO rental. Communications with them were excellent and they even picked us up from the airport. In the apartment they left us wine, milk, juice, coffee and many snacks. Their hospitality is second to none. Would definitely recommend!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property during our visit to Barcelona. It's in a quiet neighborhood with many restaurants and shops. It's in a good location and has easy access to public transportation. The owners are very nice people and are very helpful. They tried their best to accommodate us for our early moving in time. Rosa and Miguel are outstanding hosts! They went above our expectations with many personal touches and were always available to answer any questions that we had. the location of the property was great. We both felt like we were truly at home in the apartment and the neighborhood. We hope to return to Barcelona again and would love to stay here!

We arrived by cruise ship and Migual picked us up and took us to the apartment. The apartment had been updated, modern kitchen and bathroom, 3 bedrooms 2 small and one master bedroom. The building has 2 elevators and is centrally located everything you want to see. Miguel explained the workings of the apartment and showed us how to get around town. Rosa and Migual are extremely helpful and thoughtful. When we left Barcelona they arranged for taxi to take us to the airport at 5am. I would gladly stay here again.

A lovely and very clean apartment, the BEST owners and situated in a great spot! We were constantly finding great parks, restaurants, tapas, shops in all directions. Rosa and Miguel are beyond helpful and kind. Exceeded our expectations!

We loved our stay in Barcelona. If only we could’ve stayed longer! Rosa and Miguel are great hosts. They picked us up at the airport, oriented us to the apartment and Rosa provided professional travel guide recommendations regarding Barcelona. The apartment was well equipped and located conveniently between the El Poble Sec Metro and the Magic Fountain. We were able to see the city during the day and still catch the Magic Fountain show each evening. While you can get to all the sites easily by Metro, the apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood that made sleep easy. Miguel transported us to the airport on the way out. Both of them went above and beyond.

Pre arrival communication with host was easy and timely. On arrival host did arrange for our pick up and pointed out areas of interest on our way to the apartment. At the apartment hosts went over a map of the area and pointed out recommended things to see and do. Also hosts left a welcome basket of treats and refreshments for us. Hosts were very welcoming and they are definitely a 10/10. Apartment had all the comforts of home. Had air conditioning in main room and bedroom for those hot/humid summer days. Strong wifi, no problem streaming a video to watch when you come back to the apartment to relax and regroup for your next adventure. Also, had cable TV with a few english channels. Apartment was on the third floor (by USA/Canadian standards) but had an elevator so going up/down steps not an issue. Good location to numerous grocery stores, restaurants, stores, etc., all within a few minutes walk. We walked everywhere and had no safety concerns. Highly recommend these hosts and this apartment for any stay in Barcelona.

Rosa and Miguel said Hallo to us in the appartement. They explained us everything about the appartement and also which places to go. This was very helpful to us. So we felt very comfortable in Barcelona. We saw places like Majic Fountain, Montjuic castle with good view to the sea, Fiesta de Garcia, Sagrada Familia, the gothic town. Everything from the appartement is easy and quickly to reach by metro or bus. We stayed 4 days and really enjoyed it. The appartement is quiet, clean and well furnished. It also has climate control.

Maybe hard to believe, but absolutely every positive comment made about this place is true. Spacious, comfortable, clean, equipped and very well located. Miguel and Rosa picked us up at the airport and upon arriving at the unit she spent a good 10 minutes going over the map an area. And yes, there was a fruit bowl and quality bottle of wine awaiting us. On our last day we ran into them in town and they offered us a ride to the train station for our next journey. All I wrote in the guestbook was "The world needs more people like Miguel and Rosa." Very highly recommneded. zero issues.

Rosa and Miguel were awesome hosts. Great communicators and went above and beyond. And, because they were available, very kindly picked us up at airport and dropped us off at the train station! Had some pastries/fruit/etc in the apartment for us. The apartment was very good. Nice bathroom and shower, quiet and plenty of room for the 3 of us. Good location.

Because of Rosa and Miguel's hospitality it felt much more like being hosted by family versus just a standard rental. They even did us a tremendous favor by picking us up and taking us back to the airport. They were very responsive both before and during our stay. The apartment was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. They showed us how everything worked and made sure we understood. After showing us around Rosa took out a map to show us where we were and highlighting areas of interest . They gave us a recommendation for a restaurant that had excellent paella "Bar Elche". The apartment is well located, it is only a 5 minute walk to the metro and 10 minute walk to tapas alley. Everywhere is very accessible between walking and the metro. Do yourself a favor and rent this unit from the best hosts we have encountered.

Rosa and Miguel were unbelievable hosts. They went way above, with the fruit basket, cracker, wine, water, juice, milk. We enjoyed meeting Rosa and going over all the information needed to be good renters in their building. Miguel is another story! He came by the day before we were to leave, to check their other rental. He introduced himself and offer to take us to the airport the next day. We were leaving the apartment at 3:00am! He didn't care about the time, no one gets up at 3:00am if they don't have to, but he did! The VRBO was in a great location, Rosa gave us a map with directions to get where we wanted to go and suggestions that we had not had on our list! It was great. The metro was very close and easy to use. If you go to Barcelona and want to have a great VRBO experience, be sure and stay with Rosa and Miguel, they are both great! And the apartment was great as well. Clean, with everything you might need.

We had such an amazing experience staying at Rosa and Miguel's VRBO. But more importantly, we had an amazing experience meeting and getting to know our VRBO hosts! Rosa and Miguel are incredible people. Their property was very clean, air conditioned, had plenty of beds, and also had an updated bathroom. It even had a washing machine, which was a huge benefit for our family. They stocked the fridge with water, milk and juice for our kids. They provided a basket of fruit, snacks, bread, and a lovely bottle of wine. It's located very close to a metro station and there were several grocery stores and restaurants right around the corner. But as I said, more than the VRBO, we loved getting to know the hosts. Rosa and Miguel picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the end of the trip. Once we got to the property, they explained everything and showed us where and how to get to all the sites. They left us a map with all this information marked on it. When we needed to get a COVID test in order to return to our country, Miguel showed us the cheapest and more reliable place to go. They truly went way beyond what most hosts would do. We also signed up for their paella cooking class. This was amazing! Our kids loved it, and it was one of our highlights from our trip to Spain. They brought us to their home and we cooked outside in their backyard. The paella was incredible! Our kids got to cook but also swim in their pool. A huge plus! We enjoyed a lovely meal together and had a great time just talking and laughing together. Rosa and Miguel are just so pleasant to be with, and we are grateful to have made new friends. We highly recommend staying at this VRBO and taking the time to get to know Rosa and Miguel.
