There is mold, growing in the back porch ceiling next to the fireplace all the way across the ceiling. There is water leaking in around the fireplace. Other than that the property is amazing.

It’s our home away from home at Lake Cumberland! We absolutely love it!

This lake house was perfect for our family. The back porch is huge and is definitely the gem at this place. A walk down the hill you have a private dock and a boat launch down the street in the neighborhood. Finding a house with access to a dock within walking distance and boat launch is very rare on the lake. This was our 2nd time staying here and we'll hopefully be back again.

We had a great stay with our party of 6! Plenty of room to sleep and kitchen had everything we needed. Screened porch is where we spent most of the evenings. Short walk to boat dock which was so nice. Neighbors were also friendly. Only negative was parking is tight. But other than that it was beautiful and I would recommend this property!

Amazing place!! NOTHING BETTER

When we arrived, yard was overgrown. You could tell it hadn’t been cleaned this season. Steps from driveway have no handrail. Coffeemaker had old coffee caked in it and Keurig had old water in tank. Bedrooms were clean. Grill was so dirty, wouldn’t touch on filthy back porch. Living room furniture that is white needs to be cleaned. Chest that doubles as coffee table was broken across top. Screened porch was nice. Our dock was underwater and steps to dock broken. Stephanie never replied when we emailed her. We had a good time but didn’t enjoy the home. No easy access to water.

Needs better parking for truck and boat

The lake-house was just as described and included all of the needed amenities for a perfect getaway. The place was clean and well appointed and the owner is the ideal host. We could not ask for anything better. Thank you!

We enjoyed out stay in this cabin. As Stephanie says in the description, there are VERY few houses with docks, especially on this end of the lake. The lake is beautiful, and having to just walk a short ways to get to the boat every day instead of having to go to a marina was wonderful. We met a couple neighbors who were very helpful with information about waterfalls and eating on the lake. The cabin was perfect for just the two of us. It's a very simple, no frills place and has everything you need to feel comfortable. Glad we found it.

We rented the cabin for the Cumberland Poker Run. 5 minutes from State dock by water, in a quiet cove. Dock wad nig enough for our 42 Fountain and our 27 ft Chaparral. Comfy and cozy. We'll definitely be back!

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. All the comforts of home. The boat slip was super convenient but was pretty tight trying to park our pontoon. Also, I didn’t realize that this cabin was pet friendly. There was dog hair all over the side porch and really did need a through cleaning. The inside of the cabin was spotless. I would rent again

The lake cabin was perfect for us. It was cozy and extremely clean. We loved the private dock. Stephanie was very responsive to any questions during our stay. The outside table was perfect for dinner. Definitely, want to book again!

I wasn’t sure how close the house would be to the water or whether the dock was private or first come first served. The path to the lake is literally right across the street. My 74 year old mother went slow but she didn’t have any problems with the hill. The dock is private. Excellent trip. Huge screened porch was amazing.

The property was clean & very nice the parking had it issues, BUT my biggest issue was the Dock, this property shouldn't be listed as having an accessible dock. The only way to get to the dock is to slide down a slippery, rocky shale hill. It's a safety issue, the owner should either remove the dock or put steps in so people can walk safely to the dock!

My husband always launches the boat by himself so this initially created some anxiety for me, but it forced me to drive the truck and boat trailer while my husband drove the boat to the dock. Now I'm a pro. Finding a house with a dock is a must for us. The dock is beautiful and was accessible even during a time when the lake water level was high. We have a rather large truck and had the boat trailer to park and were able to park in the yard next to the house. The bed linens were nice and clean. The inside of the house was also very clean. I always look for cleanliness in reviews before I book a location. We will definitely book here again if we come back to the area.

We truly enjoyed staying here. Great location. Loved the screened in porch. Enjoyed having coffee and breakfast out there every morning. Excellent location. Close to the city for groceries and close to the marinas. Host was awesome, easy to communicate with and even let us check in early. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
