If you are wanting to go to grandmas house, then this is it. Quiet getaway in a great location with abundant activities to do within minutes.

Perfect experience all around. Home was comfy, well appointed, great location with a beautiful view and most importantly a responsive host.

Exactly how it’s advertised! Very clean, very easy and clear communication!!! This place is amazing for our dunes trip! We bring two trucks with trailers and there’s plenty of parking for them!! Beautiful home! Thank you!

We enjoyed such a relaxing weekend at the huckleberry house. It was cute, clean, spacious, and easy to access. We love the hot tub, open kitchen and the beautiful views! Downstairs is a bit musty but they have dehumidifiers to assist with that. We really enjoyed your stay and would love to come back!

The house is surrounded by trees with a nice view of the lake. Felt like we were in a treehouse. We had a wonderful time and were very comfortable. The kitchen in well stocked with dishes and whatever you might need for cooking. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We spent spring break with our family riding quads on the dunes. The house was great and had everything we needed. Great location and a beautiful view, with a wonderful deck to take in the view. The hot tub was great after a day of riding.

We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the house. Great amenities and the hot tub was great! Grill is unavailable Nov-April and it was only indicated to us in the email two days before our visit. Not a big deal but would have been better to know earlier.

Good location, nice hot tub, quiet and private.

Our group of 8 adults stayed here for the weekend and overall everything was great. There was more than enough of everything in this house! Towels, dishes, body wash, cooking utensils and even space! Not to fancy not to dated, we were all comfortable. HOWEVER** the driveway pictures were slightly deceiving. Yes there is room to park full size trucks with our toys on trailers, but getting in and out of the driveway was a tight fit. It does have some sharp turns and is rather narrow, so if you plan to take a 40’ + trailer with two trucks on it, don’t. It’s not reasonable. Also. read the “how to” binder on the counter before messing with the hot tub! Even with those small issues I would gladly stay here again.

One night family came so there was 3 adults + 4 kids in total 7 people and we had plenty of space. Thank you for having us.

The house exceeded our expectations. The location was great. I don't think I've been at a property that was better appointed. They had everything you would want. We are definitely looking ahead to stay there again sometime.

Not to far from town, and still surrounded by nature.

My family planned a Labor Day camping trip at Honeyman State Park, my daughter just had a baby and we felt a two week old was too young to camp but she didn't want to miss out on our extended family trip. We were close enough to the park so that we could meet up with our family very easily we just had to pay the day use fee which was $5 for each car. The home was very nice and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware and utensils that we needed, there was ample dinnerware for all, there was even a spice drawer filled with spices. There were hot tub towels near the patio door, comfortable couches for relaxing and a cabinet full of brochures about the coast area, I thought that was a nice touch. The only downside was that I was hoping there was an access point to the lake from the house that we could walk to, but we were unable to access the lake without driving around to the day use area. This was a nice, relaxing weekend and I would recommend the home to anyone.

Well looked after, clean and has absolutely everything you need. my family and friends enjoyed a relaxing paddling hiking week. I got to be here by myself during the week and loved it. By the Way Fred I left you Jam from the Blackberries in the yard.

Excellent property; very clean; never saw such a well stocked kitchen, open and airy kitchen, dining, and living room combo. Special thanks for the use of the dock for my boat. Fishing was surprisingly good, boated many 2 - 3 pound bass.

We spent a wonderful week with our two families at Huckleberry House. Children and adults were very happy with the set up. It was a comfortable house with lots of amenities. We all had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this rental to others. Only a few small suggestions for the kitchen because we cooked all meals there. It would be nice to have a garbage disposal and a cheese grater. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

I loved it. My wife had some issues with a lot of the religious pictures and quotes around the house but she loved it too.

Nice, secluded, view of the lake. Cute country kitchen with just about everything thing you need. Hot tub would have been nice if the property managers would have turned up the temperature before our arrival. The house has a musty smell. The outdoor gas grill was rusted out and the deck had a few rotten deck boards. We didn’t really care for the shared dock. You have to drive down someone’s driveway to get to the dock and you can’t leave your vehicle parked there. The property management could have done a better job cleaning the house. There was garbage under the sofa and the living room area rug was dirty. The deck was also covered with tree branches and pine cones. Overall we had a nice stay at the Huckleberry House.
