This was our first time to Beachwalk. Our house and host were amazing! Everything we could possibly need was readily available! Plenty to do with our 3 kids ages 7-13. Hoping to come again next year!

Our family loved staying at Ruby's! We have been to Beachwalk for many stays over the past 18 years and found this house to be the among the best. The thoughful amenities like games, books, beach toys, beach chairs, wagon, and more made for easy enjoyment of the beach and house. We like to cook at home and found the kitchen to be better equipped than most rentals. The house was comfortable, larger than expected, and in an ideal location at Beachwalk. The hosts were very responsive and communicative before and during our stay.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was very accommodating, clean and plenty of space for our family of 11. Sam was very easy to work with and takes pride in pleasing her guests. I highly recommend staying at Ruby’s.

Ruby's was perfect for our large group. We also rented the smaller house. The kitchen was very well stocked. We always prepare all meals at the house due to the number of people we have, and we had everything we needed! Rooms were great, beds were comfortable. Having the golf cart included is always nice as well (we have had to rent from an outside company at some past locations). There were several beach chairs, umbrellas, and a beach cart available for our use. Communication was easy, Sam checked in on us throughout the week, including after some storms to be sure all was well. Would definitely stay again.

The house along with the coach house accommodated the 18 of us very comfortably. The location is very good, not a main road, yet very short walks to all the resort amenities. The host answered all questions very quickly and well. The house was very clean and nicely decorated and arranged. The host provided lots of nice touches to make our stay fun and relaxed. I highly recommend Ruby's. We were all very impressed with this house and location, the 10 kids never got 'bored'!

Clean with plenty of amenities. We used all 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! Plenty of eating spaces. Front porch with sitting room for all of us (12 total). The area had so much to offer-pool, lake fun (paddle board and paddle boats), splash pad, golf cart all in the cutest community. A short walk to a lovely beach (ADA accessible-important for our party) with spectacular sunsets. When it rained we went to the outlets and found something for everyone. Wish we had one more day!

This was a great house for our extended family trip. The house lay-out worked great to give teens a nice separate space, and the front porch was perfection on a rainy morning. Samantha is a great host, and we're planning on returning next year.

Had great time. Spread out at Ruby's and the Doghouse !(Coachhouse on property. ) House was great, well equipped. Enjoyed neighborhood amenities such as boardwalk to beach, pool and paddleboat. Kids loved their rides on golf cart. Explored nearby attractions, Indiana Dunes and Michigan City lighthouse. Beach sunsets were beatiful.

We are a group of 8 friends from Chicago who take an annual weekend knitting trip together. We really enjoyed everything about it, from the communication with the owner to the property itself. It was very clean and clearly well-maintained. Kitchen was fabulous and there’s plenty of space to enjoy being together. We are already talking about dates for next Fall!

We planned a getaway for four of our families. Communication with the host of our first rental reservation broke down 2 weeks before our check in date.
Fortunately Ruby’s was available and our host Samantha was fabulous! We felt good about the rental as we booked with her and found everything exactly as promised.
Cousins had a great time together! Thank you for saving our weekend trip!

Overall we loved the place. Could have used more bath products. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of toys for kids. Loved having a golf cart. Manager was super communicative and answered all questions. Plumbing was loud. Bedrooms were comfortable and good size.

We loved Rubys!!! Our group of 4 couples plus 3 kids fit great with room to spare. The kids loved their bunk room and having extra space to play in the basement.
All week long we were commenting about how well stocked the house and kitchen were. There was ample beach gear (including wagons for transport and an awesome cabana), and having the golf cart included was a huge plus.
Very attentive and communicative owners as well.
We look forward to staying at Rubys again!

Rubys was a great place to stay with a large group in the summer. Both houses are set up to host a big group, with beds everywhere. Almost everything you need is included in the house and Sam was very quick to respond with any questions. The location is very close to the beach and the resort offered lots of amenities that are included with your stay. Several of the people that stayed here with me said they would like to bring their families back in the future!

This was the perfect place for our family reunion. It offered an open kitchen with plenty of work room and seating, plus more seating outside and on the front porch. Also, there was plenty of private space for people who needed to rest. Our party ranged in age from 10 months to 94 years. The hosts were outstanding. There's not a single thing that could have been any better. After considering several other options for our next reunion, we decided no place could be better than this one!

This was one the best rentals I have stayed at. Communication with the owner was great, house was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. Close to the beach, golf cart a plus. Wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely rent again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

The house was perfect for our family of 13. The kids really enjoyed the extra mattresses in the closet! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for our holiday baking and meals. Wish that the basement space has been a little more inviting. The tv remote in the basement did not work. We really enjoyed our time there and would stay there again.

The house was clean, conveniently located, and better stocked than any other VRBO property I have ever stayed at. Samantha was very quick to respond to any messages, very kindly allowed us extra parking for our large group, and graciously allowed us to bring our dogs. It was wonderful to spend the holiday with our family in a large home that was comfortable and easy for my aging parents to manage who are challenged with their mobility. Thank you for helping us create more memories!

We had a wonderful family weekend at Ruby's! Nine adults, some with mobility issues (which was why it was great to have three bedrooms on the first floor). Everything was just as it looked in the pictures. We were only a couple of blocks from Lake Michigan. Everyone commented on how comfortable and nice the house was. Terrific weekend!

Our church small group stayed here for a balmy, blustery fall getaway. It was fantastic. There was plenty of room for 10 of us to gather, play games, watch football games, and chat. We loved the walk to the beach and being able to gather on the front porch. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to prepare our meals. The beds were comfy. and plenty of bathrooms. The host was fantastic. Definitely recommend.

We had a very low key Bachelorette night and i could not have asked for a more perfect location and accommodation. The house was beautiful and more than enough for the 10 of us. The area is so cute as well! I could live on the screened in porch. Lol. Lovely all around. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The beachwalk neighbor is so cute, very nice houses and friendly people. This house was so perfect for us. Great front porch and back deck. So fun driving around in the golf cart looking at houses and exploring the neighborhood. The house was so nice inside and we had a great weekend!

Samantha's place is gorgeous and she is an incredible host! We loved our time there and would greatly enjoy staying there again. The community is welcoming and we felt like we were at a 5 star resort! We would highly recommend others to stay there!

I have a great family, so having a great time is not unusual. But this was really great. Samantha was amazing. The place was exactly as advertised, maybe better.
The community is wonderful - close to many fantastic things. It is a amazing little vacation spot. My entire family could not have been happier with Ruby's Lake House.

Great house!
Beautiful home just 2 blocks from pool and pond and a very short golf cart ride to the boardwalk leading to Lake Michigan. Home was clean, well-stocked with basic necessities plus lots of additional amenities. We also rented the carriage “Dog House”, which was equally equipped. The golf cart was fun for all and a great help in carting all our beach supplies(and children). We will definitely consider returning! Many thanks to our hosts!

Great short week for family
Samantha and Brian provide everything you’ll need and more at Ruby’s! The location for beach, pool, Lake Kai all unbeatable. Felt safe with kids getting themselves back and forth to house, and started every early morning with toddler at club house coffee cafe getting donuts and drinks, then playing in nearby sand. Kids absolutely loved their bunk room upstairs! Totally recommend house for great family vacation!
