11 of us came in for the Tennessee vs A&M football game. We had a great time on the back patio enjoying the weather and views. The house had plenty of room for us to spread out but also come together and hang out. We enjoyed the small town of Dandridge as well.

We booked this home as our wedding venue, sight unseen. My partner and I, plus our guests, were coming from all around the country and this was the PERFECT location to get married. The mountain and lake views were ABSOLUTELY amazing. We have so many great pictures! This was the wedding of our dreams. It couldn't have been any more beautiful. Kent's communication throughout the process was very timely, clear, and transparent. He answered all our questions and alleviated any concerns we had with booking the place without seeing it in person. We had a very small issue during our stay with a toilet float valve and he was over within 5 minutes to fix it. Kent made it very clear that he was around if we needed anything but he gave us the space and didn't hover. The perfect VRBO host! If you're looking for the perfect backyard wedding venue with amazing views, book it!

We absolutely loved our stay in Dandridge. The location was excellent, the house easily accommodated our group of 9 adults and 2 kids, and the views were breathtaking. We especially loved the huge dining room table that could actually seat everyone--we enjoyed meals and game nights together without feeling cramped!

The house was beautiful and the views are gorgeous. The property is walking distance to downtown Dandgridge, a beautiful historic town. It was fully equipped with all the essentials that you will need. We highly recommend the Dandridge Brewing Company for a delicious meal and live music.

We had a great week and definitely would recommend the property to anyone traveling with a large group. It was close to everything.

My family and I stayed in this beautiful home for a week and it was perfect for us. The bedrooms are situated in a way that everyone has space. The view of the lake and mountains were incredible. The outside fireplace was perfect in the evening time to sit by and enjoy the views. We will stay here again.

Our stay, checking in and out was very excellent. location was beautiful. Take a near by Pontoon ride-must have. The only negative is It’s an hr away from Gatlinburg. Overall nice place to stay.

This is a great spacious property for a large group and the view is spectacular! My family went up for the weekend for my daughter's college graduation from UT and we had plenty of room for everyone. My only negative was that the upstairs room didn't stay very cool and of course it was a record breaking day for the temperature when we arrived. We would definitely stay at this home again!

Beautiful property, spacious enjoyed by 8 adults and 6 kids with room for more. We used every part of the house. The kitchen is equipped we cooked daily. The views are spectacular. Check in was easy and our questions/needs answered quickly. We would def recommend and stay again.

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at the maples house. The house is pretty big and equipped with all the amenities. The host is great and is always a phone call away in case we had any questions. Overall, everyone in our family had fun at Dandridge.

We had a wonderful time. The views were amazing! This home was well stocked with anything you could possibly need, better than any we have ever stayed at. The rooms were beautiful and very roomy. Mr. Maples was very accomodating. If we had any questions he was quick to respond. We all truly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay at another time. Thank you all.

We had planned on 11 people ( 5 couples) and one single but ended up w only 8 people total. So this was a great place where everyone could have their own room and Bathroom! And we would have still had plenty of room had everyone been able to come. There is plenty of room to gather for meals at the large dinning table and hang out in the big TV room and out side around the fire pit. It is a very comfortable place w all the comforts of home! Very clean, lots of towels, comfy beds! And the recommended place for boat rental was great as well(Smoky Mountain H2O). Only thing that could make it a better stay would be to stay longer! Thank you thank you for a great get away!

We loved staying at this home! This is our second year for family vacation here. The house and view are so beautiful! Kent is so nice and and accommodating.

Our multi-generational family had a great time uniting at this home in Dandridge, TN. Great views, plenty of space, and a nicely furnished house made our time together priceless! We have many great memories from our week spent together at this property.

Our family group of 15 enjoyed the lake house with its amenities. The view was fabulous from the patio/decks. Because the walk to the house was a steep hill from the lake, we took our kayaks just across the bridge to put in. Some of the family enjoyed the day trips to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. We also spent time on the lake with a pontoon rental. Communication with Kent was easy and helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

Echoing all other reviews, Kent's house is HUGE with absolutely stunning views. My entire family (which consisted of 8 adults, 4 kids, and 1 baby) stayed for 5 nights. We were blessed with beautiful weather. The house was clean, well-stocked, easy to find, and, most importantly, comfortably fit out entire family. My aunt's family (12 adults and 4 kids) rented Kent's house next door and it is also wonderful. Kent was super quick to respond to any questions or issues (plumbing) we had (would reply via text within minutes if not seconds). The house is located on a quiet street walking distance to the quaint town. There was plenty of parking, Getting into the lake from the house is definitely tricky (very steep hill), but it didn't stop the kids from swimming and hopping on and off jet skis. We rented boats, found a swimming hole, and enjoyed exploring the area. We cooked in every night and sat on the deck and enjoyed the views and each other's company. Absolutely recommend staying.

Kent was very helpful and responsive. View was gorgeous of Lake Douglas with Smoky Mts in the backdrop. Convenient for boating, fishing, hiking waterfalls, or a trip into Pigeon Forge. The quiet setting and well appointed home was perfect for our family gathering with children from infant to 13 years old.

Our whole family gathered to spend time together and celebrate our daughter’s thirtieth birthday. This house is perfect for a large family and the location is beautiful! We had everything we need, a beautiful view, a quiet neighborhood and room for the kids to play indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend!

Our trip was AMAZING! There were 14 of us. Plenty room for social distancing, the owner Mr. Kent Maples was AWESOME. Definitely will be back. Thanks for a WONDERFUL getaway

Kent was an amazing host the property was really clean and it was exactly what we expected couldnt of wish for a better place for our stay would recommend this place to anybody! Kent was very nice and very easy to communicate with. Overall 10/10!

We had a great vacation, the home was comfortable for our group of 15 and there were some beds to spare. Wonderful layout for all and plenty of bathrooms. The home is nicely appointed. The back deck, outside fireplace and fire pit were the perfect spot to gather for sunsets. It was nice having two kitchens and the ping pong table was a big hit. Easy drive to hiking, skiing, zip lining, shopping. The town of Dandridge is quaint and not as crowded as Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. There is a grocery store nearby and a pub/restaurant an easy stroll away. It was a great trip!

This was hands down a wonderful stay. The view was beyond AMAZING. For a group of 18, the house was very spacious and clean. Any and everything you could ask for and more. Kent was very accommodating and if we needed anything or help with WiFi and fire places, he was right on time. House is equipped with more than what you need. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely will be back.
