Terrible place. No wifi. No hot water. In the last 2 days we didn't have water at all in the apartment!! Also no door in the bathroom. I cannot recommend of this place.

There was a problem with everything: the location is in the poorest street of the town, and the host was turning off on purpose the water, electricity and the gas when she expected you would not use them (even though you wanted to use it, so we could not prepare breakfast early morning etc.). She was unhelpful and did not leave us any privacy, we were in the living room and she was staring inside the window for no reason, and was sitting on our porch all day long. Do not stay in this property, we could not wait to leave

A large apartment with all the necessary equipment, rather close to the beach and city center. Hot water, fully equipped kitchen. All in all a great stay for the price and location.

The host was rolling her eyes when we come early to leave our bags. We were also disagreeing on actual amount that should be paid, the host wanted more money than the actual sum was. We noticed two cockroaches in the kitchen. A bit dark since the windows are only to the yard and there is definitely no mountain view or beach view as stated in the advertisement.

The Appartement l stayed in was one of about 3 that contained the house called " Villa Kate" and is owned by a French Woman , who was,nt present at all during my stay. The Woman in charge, to deal with the renters is a local dominican ! I stayed in the lower Appartement. Besides 2 small cockroaches, which showed up at the first evening , the place was fairly clean. Apart from the night of valantines day , when "Neighbours celebrated" which noisy music up to 4 am in the morning, the place was usually quiet... The Appartement is just a 10 to 15 minutes Walk away from the Central Beach area and malecon.

Although l am frequently travelling the world , l never experienced a more difficult search , than to find this place " Villa Kate" ! ! Not only , that l had to pay 4 Taxi Drivers , who in fact drove me just a few meters past the "Villa" sevarl Times , which is situated a little off from the road, and nobody knew this place, but l "wasted" almost 3 hours in hot noon time , until finally a motorcycle Driver led the Taxi to the right place ! ! ! In fact, there ist N O. sign at the Gate or Wall of the "Villa" - that indicates the name of the place ! Maybe the owner wants the Dominican Taxi - Office not to know about her " income source" there.... The Others Thing was , that hot Walter was available only on the first evening of my 7 nights stay ! In fact , 2 other evenings there was No water available at all.....The Woman in charge told me , that happens "from time to time", and she can,t avoid it.... Then there is a very noisy Waterpump just next door , which starts to run like every 3 to 4 minutes and runs for 2 to 3 minutes around the clock. Even with earplugs in my ears, l heard this noise during the night ....

It was not a room but an appartment ! Very modern and comfortable. Well furnished, nice bathroom, Nice location

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They made my stay super comfortable and the facilities in the room were excellent. I would highly recommend staying here

Convenient and easy - Rosamene let us in when we arrived and the accommodation had all necessary amenities. The location is very central and we enjoyed the local and laid back feel of the place

The shower went between warm and cold and water and electricity went off occasionally (this may be a municipal problem and not specific to the accommodation/host)

This is genuinely one of the nicest apartments I’ve ever stayed in. The owners are kind, friendly and super efficient, making the stay as easy than any hotel. I initially chose to stay here as it is in the town yet walking distance to the Ocean and the beach. It has a modern kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom and very large living room. It's everything you need and more. There is a local shop 2 minutes walk away, bakery and bars and restaurants within 5-10mins walk. Communication was good and timely. I will 100% stay here every time I return to Las Terrenas. Thanks so much Dimi and the crew!
