Lots of room, fenced yard and easy beach acess

The location, the price, the yard, everything about this house was everything we needed as a family. Dog could be in the yard, our son could enjoy his stay, and being so close to a beach. It was a weekend we will never forget.

This is a cute, well priced place to stay. Everything is very comfortable. Our dogs loved the fenced yard and we made full use of the well equipped kitchen. (We replaced the missing can opener and could have used a few cleaning supplies). The location worked so well as we enjoyed many of the fun things to do in Clatsop County and being able to enjoy walks around the village and on the beach. Parking was great. We’re already planning a return visit.

We had a lovely stay to do some sight seeing each day followed by cards at night. The house was neat, tidy and stocked with all we needed.

We enjoyed a weekend with the pups at our favorite beach in this lovely house. It was perfect for the two of us and our pups. It could have easily accommodated more people as well. The house was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the decor. It had everything we needed and the fenced yard was perfect for the pups. The location was on a quiet dead end street but close to everything. We are already looking forward to another stay here. Highly recommended!!

We love Gearhart and were happy to find a vacation rental property that is dog-friendly! Our pups loved the big fenced yard. This home sits on the Ridge Path which is lovely to explore, and is only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The wi-fi worked great, and we enjoyed watching our latest Netflix binge on the big screen tv. While essentials are provided, there are a few things I'll take next time: sharp kitchen knives, a functional cheese grater, fabric softener (a small supply of laundry detergent was provided), Kleenex (toilet tissue is provided), and a few Tupperware type of containers for use in the kitchen, and cotton sheets (personal preference over the cotton/poly blend sheets provided). There were 3 non-working flashlights which could have been a bummer in a power outage! Vacasa representatives were readily available via text for a few questions that came up. Yes, we would stay here again!

We welcomed this quiet, well kept house after long walks on the beach or sightseeing in busier, neighboring towns. The backyard was great for our dog. Wish we would’ve booked for longer. Next time.

Cozy home for 4. Easy check in and quiet neighborhood. Nice deck to sit on and walking distance to small shops. It was a great time with friends.

Neighborhood is very quiet and full of trees, which keeps the house and fully fenced yard sheltered from those blustery coastal winds. About a 7-8 minute walk to the beach, which we didn’t mind at all, plus a great trail that runs right past the house to the little downtown area. We cooked a fair amount and the kitchen was reasonably well stocked, but we were glad we brought our own knives and spices, and wished we had brought a good sauté pan (just the usual “rental house equipment”, nothing too bad). Place is very clean, and the only maintenance items that were kind of bothersome were the main bedroom door that really sticks (you basically have to slam it to close it) and main bed/bath sink that doesn’t drain. Great little place and we would stay there again!

Beautiful place and surroundings. Enjoyed the claw foot tub, nice soak after a long day. Very comfortable in the place. Look at the light switches, the dimmer slide is on the side of the switch..took us 3 days to figure that out. Was quite dark in kitchen until then!

Love this place!! Moving it to the top of ocean city places to stay. Clean and quaint. The fenced in back yard is large and our Goldendoodle loved the freedom! Even supplied a poop shovel and rake to make pick-up easy. Lots of good walking to the ocean or on the woodsy trail right next to the house. We will definitely be back and will recommend this house to other people!!

We loved every minute staying here because it felt like home. We plan on coming back in November.

Rooms were clean. Amenities were more than adequate. Quiet in the middle of a wind storm.

Wonderfully appointed very comfortable cottage. Large fully fenced dog very friendly yard. The deck and large barbque is great BUT the firepit to share with friends is a perfect night cap. Fun clawfoot tub in master is better than a hot tub and 2nd bath with large shower is great. And everything you need is furnished. We will be back..and the Elk greeted us driving in and trumpeting at dawn and dusk.

For us the short weekend (never been to Gearhart) worked out really well. It's not close to the beach but gave us some good walking. The fenced in yard was the BEST for our dog and appreciated being able to take him with us for his first trip to the beach.

We loved the location.

Best for a couple only. Bathtub and toilet in the king bedroom without a wall really odd. Privacy? Yard needs a spruce up but nicely fenced for a dog and large. Window installed to open into the king bedroom so that it swings over the bed and you can't close the blinds.
