Great location to explore the French Quarter

This is a 3 bedroom home with 2.5 baths. Very comfortable and cozy feeling with lots of room. Nice backyard to sit and sip wine and comfy beds. Owners left plenty of towels and the kitchen was well equipped. This home is about 0.7-1 mile from the center of the French district. We walked there every day and sometimes twice a day! We were able to watch one of the major parades on Fat Tuesday to complete the whole experience. We would totally recommend this home to anyone who wants to have fun in New Orleans and also wants to have a nice place to relax in the evening.

Really nice shotgun house in Marigny that was an easy walk to the French Quarter. Given we rented a car the off street parking was perfect. Check in and keyless access was the best I’ve experienced with a VRBO. Checking out some of the local dives was a really nice contrast to traditional French Quarter tourist places.

We LOVED our stay here. The home is lovely, plenty of space and supplies. Communicating with the host was quick and easy. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends

The pictures just don't do this place justice. It's absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. From the decor down to the comfort of the beds this place can't be beat. Alex provides detailed information about anything you may need. The French Quarter and Frenchmen St are within walking distance. We'll definitely be returning to this home in the future.

The property was amazing - looked even better in person, and Alex was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and very timely in responses. Awesome location (right next to Marigny and the French Quarter). Would stay again here in a heart beat.

The listing was accurate, the place was great, Alex has a document he provides with all pertinent information about the listing and surrounding areas including grocery stores!! The only semi-negative I would say is with the influx of homeless there are a couple that roam the streets. None of us felt threatened but they were present.

The house was the perfect size for our group. The location was centralized to everything we wanted to do. Iggy's neighborhood bar around the corner was a great place to unwind, the patrons there were so kind and helped us find place to go out of the touristy stuff. Loretta's café a couple blocks from Iggy's by far had the best beignets. Big E arranged our transportation (Recommended by Alex in our rental paperwork) he sent us Cecil for transport to and from the airport and he was the best! Saved Cecil and Big E's numbers for future stays. The backyard was not as picturesque as the listing shows, but the house and overall stay was amazing.

This lovely, comfortable property was a perfect size for our group of five (two couples, one single person), with good common areas (especially kitchen) and beautiful bedrooms/baths. When we arrived, music was playing, there were snacks waiting for us, and the fridge was stocked with great, New Orleans-made beverages. The house is a nice walk to the French Quarter and close to Frenchman Street and to a great grocery store and other amenities. There is a funky, semi-abandoned lot next door, but even that has charm. A situation arose in our group that required a move to a different spot, and the host graciously and immediately offered us another of his available properties with no hesitation and at no additional charge. We highly recommend this property and this host. And if you are looking for a beautiful, big place in a quieter neighborhood a little further out but very close to a streetcar, we highly recommend another of the host's properties, La Belle Cajolee. I imagine it would be hard not to have a good time in New Orleans, but our accommodations and this host made the trip truly exceptional.

My family stayed in this house during our recent visit to New Orleans, and we really enjoyed it. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we were able to walk to great restaurants, coffee spots, parks and shopping.

From the planning stages through to check out, Alex was phenomenal. Not only was he accommodating, but his home was perfect for our three couple family getaway. The location, off the hectic French Quarter, allowed for many walks into the fervor of activity as well as an easy jaunt to Frenchman and well-known jazz clubs. Alex’s home was well-equipped with the necessities to make us feel at home. When we arrived, there were New Orleans’ snacks and libations. The sound system linked throughout the house added a wonderful ambiance for our activities. The rooms were spacious, well-kept and the beds quite comfortable. It was truly lovely to have an outdoor backyard to hang out or soak up some sunshine. The home is near Robert’s Fresh Market which has all the essentials. Ruby Slipper and Barrilleaux Restaurant on Burgundy Street are both great places, blocks away. Such a fun time! Thank you, Alex, for all you did to make our stay so memorable. We hope to be back again some time.

My mother and I spent our birthdays here during Mardi Gras season and the house was the icing on the cake for our trip. Returning to this Beautiful house after a long day exploring the city made it hard for is to want to venture out. We felt very comfortable and Alex made the home feel very welcoming!

The best trip we have been on as a group! The host and the property manager were truly the best and made our stay in New Orleans absolutely incredible. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time for a mom's weekend away at this house! It was in a perfect location, super safe and quiet neighborhood, walk to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, easy access to main roads and Ubers. 10/10 - perfect stay!

Perfect place to stay for Jazz Fest, or really any other time you're in New Orleans.

We fully enjoyed our stay here and found everything about the house and location to be comfortable and enjoyable. The host was easy to communicate with and very welcoming. The back yard was a great place to relax early in the morning and in the evening. We all would highly recommend.

We are a family of 5, two teens, so we have outgrown hotels and frequently use home rentals for vacations. Alex’s home exceeded our expectations and is far beyond what the listing describes. The home is beautiful and was large enough for everyone to have their own space. The beds were comfortable, the entertainment system set the ambience, the patio was a relaxing end of our day for a glass of wine, and the welcome treats were an added bonus. The location is just a walk to the French Quarter. Alex is a wonderful host and checked in with us even during a rough storm to make sure we were ok. We highly recommend and will be back when we return to NOLA!

The place is just wonderful! Upon arrival, we enter the home and it’s so welcoming! Overhead jazz playing, beautiful kitchen and dining area, and refreshments as if company was coming! Top of the line appliances and security system too! We started our stay with a relaxing drink on the back deck area that offers a grill, 2 rockers and 4 chairs. Staying in the home could be a vacation in itself! Up stairs: 2 bedrooms with huge closets and a shared updated bathroom Down stairs: a 1/2 bath off the kitchen, a walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub in the master, living area with comfortable seating for 6 as well as a small pub table, kitchen has bar area and larger pub table with 6 rotary pub chairs. Highly recommended!

I cannot speak more highly about the property and location. Minutes from our favorite bar on Bourbon Street (Lafitte's) and a few blocks from Frenchmen Street where the bands played jazz and blues which is one of the reasons to come to New Orleans. The property was off the charts, clean, modern and spacious. It had everything we needed and more. The more being snacks and cold beverages that were a great surprise after a 10 hour drive and only having warm beers. Lastly, Alex was an exceptional communicator. I never had to worry about a thing. To me that is a big deal when traveling to a new place. Alex, thank you for everything and we will for sure be back and stay at your property again.

Close enough to walk to the french quarter. Even closer to Frenchman St. which we really enjoyed! House was perfect for our 3 adult couples. House was very nice and had a great time hanging out in the back porch/yard. Definitely recommend staying here!

The house was very clean and comfortable for our group. Alex was always available for any questions we had. He was easy to work with for our needs. (Thank you Alex!) The house was very spacious on the inside with a lovely fenced area to relax in the back. The house had an alarm system for added peace of mind. Highly recommend!

The property is in the perfect location walking distance to everything! The space is more than comfortable and is even bigger than what it looks like in the pictures. Alex was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed. He was flexible with some of our party arriving early and some arriving late. Will rent with Alex everytime.

The house was fantastic. Alex always answered any questions or concerns quickly. The house was within walking distance to sites in the French quarter. Ubers were here within minutes to get to things farther away.

Great place to stay, plenty of private space & entertainment space. The owner Alex was great to communicate with. Assured this is our place to stay when we come back in April.
