My wife and I stayed here with another couple for a weekend where we were attending a show in LA. The place was perfect! You cannot get a better view and location than this. And Frank was a great host and all of our needs were met. Loved ot and would gladly rent again.

This is a great place for a group who want to be near everything- beaches, restaurants, trails. Frank is a great host and his communication throughout the process was wonderful. We would highly recommend this house and can’t wait to return!

A clean, spacious beachfront home that’s walking distance to local shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed ourselves walking right out to the beach from the house. Great times!

This property was clean, well equipped and like a home from home. Being situated on the beach was a dream for us as a family with the most beautiful sunsets. Its location meant that we were central to many major tourist attractions from Disney, Universal and Warners to the La brea tar pits, Lacma, Getty, Griffith Observatory and more. If you want a relaxing place to enjoy the beach and close to Santa monica pier this is the place. If you want a central location to many of LA's finest spots this is the place. It was perfect and the host was fantastic too. He kept in touch when needed, supplied information when required and made us feel as though this really was our home for our stay. This will be where we return to when coming back to LA.

We had a great time at Frank's lovely house on the beach. The house was as advertised, very clean and fully stocked. The location is amazing...literally right on the sand of the beach. Frank, the owner, was great to deal with. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely home with a great view and plenty of amenities. Very roomy for our extended family of 7. The gracious host was accommodating and responsive to our questions. Quiet neighborhood with restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend!

We rented this property specifically for the access to the beach and the central location for getting to Santa Monica, Venice, Sunset Strip, Hollywood, Huntington Beach and Downtown LA. Getting to and from the property was easy, no traffic to worry about. The home had all that we needed to enjoy the beach. The community of Play Del Rey had everything we needed within walking distance. When it was time to leave, the access to LAX was awesome, right down the road but you would have never have known that, no plane noise. Our small group highly recommend this property for everything mentioned but specifically for the beach access, AWESOME!! Hopefully the owner will have us back, soon!

My husband, adult daughter, and I enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable, short walk to some great restaurants, and the view is fabulous. The host is very easy to communicate with and truly wants to make sure your stay is all you want it to be. I highly recommend this property.

Frank’s place was right on a quiet beach, which made for a very relaxing weekend. One of the most important things when we travel is finding a clean place to stay and the home was very clean. We would definitely stay again!

My family (4 kids- 20,19,17,15) had a great stay at this house on the beach. The views are perfect, especially from master bedroom! Coffee shop and taco shop within 4 blocks of the house. Overall, a great experience.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great. The beach was not crowded and loved having the paved trail on the beach and the convenience of being able to rent bikes from Metro Bike Share so close. Also enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants. The house does show some wear but. We would definitely rent it again if we are back in this area.

Fantastic property. Very clean and spacious. The views from the Living Room and the Master Bedroom are fantastic! Great beach and walking/biking path directly accessible from the back deck. Outdoor shower and hose reel are very convenient after time on the beach and in the ocean. Garage parking is a wonderful amenity. Central A/C came in very handy during the “heat wave” that coincided with our visit. Nothing but great things to say about Frank’s place!

The location of this property was perfect for us! The beach has a real neighborhood feel, not too busy or touristy at all. The path was great to walk, run or bike on for miles. There is a place to rent bikes/e-bikes right down the path about 100 yds. Very convenient and easy to check the bikes out. We rode the bike path around the Marina all the way to Venice Beach in about 20-30”. The views are amazing- the sunsets are gorgeous. It was well stocked with anything we needed. Walking distance to a great coffee shop and some restaurants. Frank, the owner, was very quick to respond to any questions and checked in with us periodically. I would most definitely stay here again. After running around LA, Disney and the studios, it was a relaxing to come home to.

We took advantage of the beautiful ocean views, beach games, delicious coffee and dinners at Playa Provisions a quick 5 min walk away, and provisions from conveniently close grocery stores. I would recommend this property to all and look forward to staying again in the future! Communication with the host was easy and Frank was very responsive. We felt informed and supported before and throughout our stay.

Don’t hesitate to rent this home! My family of five (3 teenagers) spent four nights here. It’s a spotless home located right on the beach. It maintains privacy because the public path isn’t located directly by the home. It has two giant security doors for the sliders you can close at night for extra security and a safe for valuables, but this is generally a safe area. The house is thoughtfully stocked (I forgot my hairdryer and was relieved I didn’t need to hunt one down!) There are two grills on the patio and a spot to spray sand off. Every bath has high end toiletries. While being clean, it could use some updating, but it is very comfortable. The location is excellent. There is some plane traffic, but it’s easy to tune out and not constant. There are lovely walkable restaurants nearby. We rented bikes in the marina and had fun biking up and down the path. The neighbors are quiet. Be mindful the garage door is low, we rented a Ford Edge and was fine, but my SUV at home wouldn’t have fit. Still plenty of parking if needed. The owner is lovely and was very responsive. He made a point of checking in with us after the first night and was quick to answer questions. Just a very nice guy!
