The Summer Palace is a great house and we enjoyed our stay. Communication with the property owner was excellent and check in easy. The house/kitchen was well stocked and very clean and comfortable. The Seacrest neighborhood is charming and it was a quick easy walk (or tram) across the street to the beautiful beach. Also an easy walk to Rosemary shops/dining and Inlet beach. A short drive to Seaside and Watercolor. We didn’t have great weather the week before Christmas but our teens girls never complained there was so much to do and see! If you plan a stay at the Summer Palace, you will love it!

We loved our after Christmas Getaway at Summer Palace in Seacrest Beach. House backed up to nature trail and felt private, yet quick bike ride to shops, pool, beach path. House was clean, stylish and had everything we needed.

Lovely home. More than we enough room for our family of 3. Had we known, we would have invited another family to join us. Pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get to the beach as the tram service was timely and dependable.

From booking to checkout Mary Beth was a very welcoming and professional host. Instructions for the home and access were very easy to navigate. This home is located at the back of the subdivision which makes it quiet and away from the traffic on 30-A but still a short walk to the beach. The home backs to the nature trail which also makes for a short walk into Rosemary Beach. We found the home to be supplied with most all of our essential needs and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the screen porch which overlooks the green belt at the rear of the property. This is our fourth year to travel to the Emerald Coast area on 30-A for our winter vacation and we are always anxious to go back. Many thanks to this host for making it another memorable year!

Our family of four stayed for a perfect week at the beach. The house had everything we needed - from a great bunk room for kids (even larger than pictured!) to an extremely comfortable king bed to a large family/kitchen area. A perfect spot in the neighborhood, offering access to the nature trail while super close to the tram stop. We loved our time and highly recommend!

The property was perfect for our family of 5. Having some of the kids stuff like a pack 'n play and high chair are nice touches and make travel easier. We also liked that the property is closer to the back of the neighborhood which reduced the amount of traffic around the house.

Lovely house No complaints-very nice! I would prefer to stay a little closer to the beach, but still a very nice location with available taxis to beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Summer Place. Mary was extremely easy to work with and very quick to respond when needed. We have stayed in Seacrest Beach for 6 years, and this quickly became my favorite house! We did, however, have my son's personal bike stolen on our first full day from the house. That was a very disappointing way to start off our trip. The bike was never recovered. We always have felt extremely safe in Seacrest, but we felt we have to have our guard up now. Overall, the trip was fabulous as always though.

30 A is my favorite beach getaway by far! The beaches are beautiful, charming towns within walking/biking distance, love it. The house is beautiful, updated,very clean and well supplied. Really appreciated the pack n play, booster seat, bikes, beach chairs, towels and toys since we flew there and couldn't bring all that! The only reason not to give 5 stars is the bedrooms do not have room darkening shades, it gets bright early.

Absolutely loved the home, the stay, the community. The house is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay, including a pack n play and stroller. Everyone slept great in this comfortable home in a great location! We will be coming back for sure!

This house was wonderful! The decor was beautiful but also comfortable. It was very spacious as we had plenty of room for our family. The beds allowed for a restful night's sleep. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, enjoying the breeze as well as riding bikes throughout the community. The close proximity of restaurants, live music, pool, and trolley to the beach contributed to a great vacation!

We are a family of 4 from Atlanta and enjoyed our stay at The Summer Palace. There was more than enough room for us and the house had all the essentials. We didn't use the first floor bedroom and bathroom. Our boys loved the bunk room. The master bed was super comfy. The beach toys and bikes are definitely a bonus (especially if you are flying in from somewhere and can't bring that sort of stuff). The owner was easy to deal with and quite responsive. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

Our families returned to Summer Palace for a second summer and had another spectacular stay! The home was clean and comfortable for 4 adults and 4 kids 10 and under, and we simply love the privacy of backing up to the nature trail and wooded area.

We enjoyed our stay in Seacrest and the home was perfect for our party of 8. While the home tends to be on the back side of the Seacrest community and puts you a little further from the beach and the pool, we found it to be the perfect location for us. Backing up to a wooded area gave the screened back porch a tree house feel and was a great place for morning coffee. We used the bikes our entire stay and rented a few more and found it easy to bike down the back path to Rosemary to join up with our friends staying in Rosemary. We walked and biked everywhere and never once used the Tram Service. The built in house stereo system was awesome. We enjoyed syncing and playing from our playlist and having control of which rooms or porches we could enjoy our music from was ideal. We had a minor issue with the downstairs air unit and Mary Beth responded to our text almost immediately and had a service guy out within the hour to get everything running smoothly. We were never uncomfortable. The only recommendation I would make would be to put a fan in the bunk room. I get that a ceiling fan might not work in that room with the bunks, but it does get a little stuffy in that room at night. It was the only critique I heard from anyone in the group. We cooked in most nights and found everything we needed and we are foodies that enjoy cooking! A couple of days we got rained off the beach for a few hours and we all retreated to the house and never felt like we were cramped for space. The home is well designed and decorated. We will definitely return to this same property. Our stay at The Summer Palace made for a wonderful family vacation. The Beers Family

We have two small children which doesnt make it the easiest to travel; however, this home came with some really helpful things (Pack-n-play, highchair, pool toys, bikes for mom and dad) that made our stay so much easier. We have an 8 month old that was able to have her crib in the large master closet so that I was able to get to her at night, but still have some privacy to relax and watch TV after her early bedtime. My son loved the bunkbed room! The kitchen was well stocked so that we were able to cook some meals at home. The lay out of the house was the best that weve stayed in. The one bedroom down stairs was really great. We also loved the second entrance into the house so that we could drop our sandy beach clothes and towels into the wash room rather than getting it all into the house. The quiet and safe community was perfect for outdoor play! We also greatly appreciated the tram. It was very easy to utilize with all of our beach gear. The staff were so very nice! The beach and pool were beautiful. Just in the spirit of being helpful to whomever chooses this home, I do have a couple of recommendations: 1.) The pillows were not great so I would bring your own. Of course, that can just be a part of traveling and using pillows in a vacation rental, so its almost expected. 2.) Unfortunately, while outside on the nice front porch, I was bitten many times by Yellow flies(not sure if thats what they were)...the bites were large and very uncomfortable. No one else with us got bitten, so I may have had some sort of reaction; nevertheless, Id come with some deep woods bug spray just in case! My son actually said that we should move to this home and let someone else live in our home in Atlanta : ) We had a great stay! Thanks to the responsive owners for making such a great getaway home.

We had a very nice stay. The house was just as pictured and listed. The owners provided many more things than normal such as beach chairs, beach toys, 2 bicycles, shampoo, conditioner. The lagoon pool was very nice and clean. Pool attendants were very pleasant and helpful. Close to shopping and restaurants. The only complaint we had were the bed pillows were very flat and not comfy so you might want to take your own pillow, but over all home was well furnished and very comfortable. Owners were very accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay in the Summer Palace. The home is beautifully decorated and very peaceful. The kids loved being able to ride their bikes everywhere and we loved how safe they were! The home has beautiful porches that my husband and I enjoyed having morning coffee in everyday. Everything in the instructions about the home was helpful and accurate. We felt prepared and had all the information we needed for our stay. We hope to be back next year!

The house was perfect! We were all very comfortable and happy.

Fabulous property for families with children. We had four adults and four children and still had plenty of space. Access to the pool was wonderful and the beach tram service was seamless. We definitely plan to vacation at Summer Palace again!
