A beautiful property with everything antique. Well situated on the Cape with access to a variety of beaches and fun places to eat. Great host who is personally involved and available. And Sheep in the back yard! Very quiet yet close to everything

This truly historic house has a lot of character and charm.
Awesome experience, like living inside a fairy tale.
It's also super clean, lots of space, great outdoor area, and very convenient location, close to everything, including the beaches.
Hosts are also incredible, it's been real please to meet them.
Thank you so much for the incredible stay, we're definitely coming back!

Saturday Farm is charming and idyllic. We’ve stayed there a few times since 2016. The house itself is a welcoming friend! Built by a sea captain in the 1800’s, its history is honored in every room. For those of you who love historic character and Cape Cod architecture, then you’ll feel at home straight away. The furnishings are a mix of antique and locally made new. Everything is of quality and very well done. Cooking on the incredible antique stove is a highlight!
The owners, Cindy and Harry, help us with anything during our stay. They are easily accessible as they live on the lane by the farm. They don’t hover, yet they are always nearby if we have questions. Their gentle kindness and welcoming spirits make this special spot in the world more than just an overnight place to sleep. Saturday Farm is a delightful destination.
In addition to the impressive historic house, they have created inviting surroundings. The organic herb garden is quite special. Best of all, there are two resident sheep who keep the lawn naturally mowed. They are so charming and add many smiles to my visit. One of the most special things is waking up to a sea breeze coming through the windows (they do have ac, but we don’t use it while we’re there so we can enjoy the fresh Cape Cod air!) while hearing the sheep bells in the back garden. Some of our deepest and most restful sleeps have happened at Saturday Farm. It feels like the most special of Saturdays, every single day, while we are there.

Saturday Farms was a great experience. I would certainly say more applicable for families with small children (for the wonderful bah boys) vs. for young adults. It’s in the middle of a neighborhood so there’s a mandatory quiet time, which is understandable, but may not be what young adults are seeking in a vacation. Overall, a wonderful experience

The home is listed as a quaint antique farmhouse but for our family we found it old and rundown. The owners are nice and very accommodating but overall the furniture, beds, etc are not comfortable. There are chairs everywhere, literally every inch of the house is jammed with all different kinds of chairs. The kitchen isn’t very functional and despite not cooking or having any food in the house there were ants everywhere. From the beach chairs, to the hammock, to the rest of the amenities, they all felt like they were going to break if used. Unfortunately it was hot and humid when we visited so the lack of air conditioning made the stay less than ideal. We ended up leaving early and spending time in Boston. I’d love to recommend this place but for us it was the wrong fit. For the amount we paid I expected more.

We enjoyed our stay at Saturday farm very much. The garden surrounding the farm is so beautiful and peaceful. The two sheep “Bromley” and “Snoopy” grazing around the farm were one of the many highlights of our stay. It was a pleasure getting to know the owners of the farm. We highly recommended this home away from home.

We had a great time during our week at this special house/property. Cindy and Harry were wonderful hosts, the Baa boys are entertaining and so enjoyable to watch, and the house is very comfortable and a short way from beach, restaurants, shops. We all loved it!

Serenity @ Saturday Farm
This fascinating, serene, and surprisingly big Cape Cod rental was perfect for our summer visit with both family and friends. The historic house and beautiful gardens are lovingly maintained by owners Cindy & Harry. They were quick to answer any questions we had. The location is very close to many restaurants and attractions, but when relaxing in the backyard you feel as if you’re hidden from the bustling world. We loved the sunroom and the abundance of books. Our children (ages 11-19) enjoyed spending time with the Baa Boys and exploring the neighborhood (beach, ice cream, several restaurants, and more all working walking distance). Having towels & linens provided is a much appreciated amenity. We hope to visit again soon!

Wonderful Respite
The house at Saturday Farm is welcoming and beautiful, and the sheep add an element of fun for children. The best part of being there was getting to know Cindy and Hank and hearing the story of their restoration of the Farm. It is truly a labor of love.
The only downside is that it is on a somewhat busy street, about 3/4 mile from the beach, not walkable with small children.
But many beaches and ponds are accessible by car, and there is a good market nearby.
Highly recommend!!!

Very enjoyable stay
The Baa Boys (the sheep) were a wonderful addition for our grandchildren. There are multiple nooks and crannies to have private reading or nap time. Also many places to have our family gather and eat and talk. The kitchen worked for us to cook a Thanksgiving dinner for 7. The oven, initially built in 1920 or so, was surprisingly effective in maintaining consistent temperaturs. We especially liked that the television was small and not central, thus allowing us time to delink! The beach is a short walk away from the house. The house is historical and quaint. The bathroom/tub/shower set-up does take a little getting used to!
Our hosts were very available and very user friendly. A great Thanksgiving escape for our family!

Amazing Time
I stayed at Saturday Farm with my whole family for my mother’s 60th birthday and had an amazing time! The house is spectacular both in cleanliness and it’s decor. My mother is a fan of antiquities and primative design and absolutely loved the place. We stayed for four nights and had a blast both at the beach (which is about a 15 minute walk) as well as hanging out in the yard with the baa boys. The backyard was stunning and very well manicured. Cindy and Harry were great hosts and we can’t wait to go back again!

Relaxing in charming peaceful environment
We enjoyed our family vacation in the peace and beauty of Cindy and Harry's Saturday Farm.... they've done a beautiful job of keeping the original charm of the place, and making it beautiful and comfortable....everything we needed was provided (maybe one more window fan for upstairs would be helpful), and they were very prompt in handling a need that arose. We all loved the sheep, the outdoor shower, the hammock, and the variety of rooms to hang out in, allowing the choice of private time or gathering together. Thanks so much for making this wonderful place available.

Historic Gem ❤️
This is a beautiful property located near many lovely beaches, some of which are walking distance. The English style perennial gardens surround both front and back and the yard with picnic table, adirondacks, children’s pools, bocce balls and croquet is most conducive to great family fun! Having the Baa Boys on site added to the ambience and our granddaughter’s loved seeing the little rabbits hopping about the yard. The yard was a Secret Garden to them and had an overall magical feel!
We had six adults and two children with plenty of room to spare. The gathering room off of the kitchen fit us all comfortably for dinners, card games, etc. beds were very comfortable and everyone had their own fan to keep comfortable at night!
Harry and Cindy were always available to answer questions quickly And freely shared their in depth knowledge of the Cape. We had a 5 star experience at Saturday Farm!

Saturday Farm
We had a fantastic week on Cape Cod and staying at Saturday Farm simply enhanced our enjoyment. This is a very special and unique home. It is full of warmth and charm and lovingly cared for. We loved the outdoor shower, firepit, sun room, soaking tubs, very spacious bedrooms, exploring the book shelves and of course the adorable sheep! We loved when Cindy and Harry let them out to graze in the backyard. Thank you Cindy and Harry - your place is a peaceful retreat and we couldn't be more grateful for your warmth and hospitality. The Fleming and Winslow families.

Loved our stay
Cindy, Harry and the Baa boys were fabulous hosts to this charming old home. Very comfortable for 7 of us. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Cooked many meals in the well equipped kitchen which included a nice outdoor grill. The outdoor shower was important as most of us didn’t want to use the tubs. There is one indoor shower/tub. Beautiful large yard that we enjoyed when the weather permitted and the fire pit was awesome. Only thing needed is better internet as the connection didn’t reach our far bedroom. Thanks Cindy and Harry

Quintessential Cape Cod stay! Plenty of room for everyone in a house filled with family.
What a delightful place to call home for a week in the summer, or any time. Every bedroom was surprisingly spacious, with a private sitting area near by. The gardens were well kept with an inspiring symphony of colors. And of course the sheep added a whole other dimension to the stay. Our grandchildren had great fun imitating their "Baa."
We took full advantage of the attractions near and far. The summer theater, just a short walk down the street was a delight, and a late afternoon at the beach or nature preserve were also in walking distance. Plus most of the Cape's summer "cities" were just a short drive away, along with the not to be missed, National Seashore.
You'll enjoy everything about this fabulous find!

Charming Home with Lovely Innkeepers
My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saturday Farm last weekend, savoring coffee and slow mornings in the sunroom and wine around the fire pit in the evenings. The home is thoughtfully decorated and cozy as can be. Though we didn't spend much time in Dennisport, the house is conveniently located within 15 minutes of the darling town of Chatham, and only a few minutes from beautiful bike trails and beaches. Cindy and Harry were more than accommodating, and we'd highly recommend the home to anyone looking to visit the area.

Christmas on the Cape
We had a wonderful Christmas visit! I would come back to this property in a minute. Everything about it was perfect, from the well equipped kitchen with its fully working antique stove, to the newer rear sunroom where we spent most of our time. We had 9 people for most dinners and never felt crowded. The details and work that Cindy and Harry have invested in the house and grounds is mind boggling. We even had a Christmas tree and decorations in one of the parlors, making it a perfect room for opening presents.
OH! I can't forget about the sheep! They were so cute with each having distinct personalities. Loved going out to visit them multiple times each day.
An added perk: The weather was perfect for walks to the nearby beaches. I can't wait to go visit the property in the summer to see the magnificent flower plantings and hope to stay there again soon.

Wonderful farm house Christmas family Vacation
I would leave more than 5 stars, if it were possible for this rental. Firstly, the property is spectacular. The photos do not do justice. Fabulous 18th century home with tons of character, and modern amenities. The hosts, Cindy and Harry, are terrific. Lots of helpful info about the house and the area. I wish we could have stayed longer. My family and I will treasure this Christmas for years to come. Thank you.

Wonderful Cape Cod Home
I booked Saturday Farm as a reunion get away with my five girlfriends from High School in the Midwest. We now live all over the country and came together to celebrate our big 70th birthdays! My husband joined us and put up with all five of us and helped out in many ways!!! The place is charming, centrally located on the Cape so it was easy to get around and go to the major towns for shopping, etc. Everything was completely well stocked. The owners, Cindy and Harry , are wonderful and we felt completely at home with them being in the house behind us. Then, there were the baa boys...the resident sheep who just made the whole week even better. They are simply adorable! In conclusion, I would highly recommend Saturday Farm!

A week of Saturdays
I just returned from a week with my husband, children and spouses and two young grandchildren at Saturday Farm. We could not have been more pleased with the Farm. The description accurately describes the physical space, but cannot describe the wonderful, peaceful vibe that all of us are now missing. Cindy and Harry are very gracious hosts, there when you arrive, but never intrusive; it was nice to "catch" Cindy for a conversation one lazy afternoon; the farmhouse itself is absolutely wonderful, full of books and treasures and everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. The yard was great for our little ones, a one year old and a nineteen month old. Great for stretching legs in the early morning and exploring while the adults were preparing dinner. The wooden swing, hammock and fire pit were all happily used. A visit to the Baa Boys each day was a highlight for them, and to be honest for the rest of us! The beach is an easy walk or quick drive, by everyone's account the best ice cream is at Auntie's just up the road, and it is very easy to explore many areas of the Cape from here. While there are only two showers, one of them being the outdoor shower, it was never a problem for our group of 10. In fact the only line-up was for the outdoor shower which we all enjoyed. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and all amenities are either a walk or short car ride away. All in all a simply wonderful holiday in a wonderful place. My week of Saturdays will stay with me for a long time and I hope to be able to return there again.

Saturday Farm - A real crowd pleaser!
I booked this house a few months ago for a girls weekend (9 girls) and just returned yesterday from our 4 night stay. I'm currently in Saturday Farm post depression along with the rest of our group. The majority had not been to the cape before and this house (along with Jobey and Bromley) sure made quite the impression on the group. It seriously is the cutest place ever. Cindy was always prompt with e-mails before and during the trip and made sure we had everything we needed. It was nice that she and Harry (and the baaa boys) were so close if we needed anything but also never weird that they were around outside tending to the sheep/yard. Cindy is a great group photographer as well;) The house decor is so cute, I'm pretty sure there was a tea set in almost every room and a variety of teas to use in the kitchen. The house was very clean and it was really nice having towels and sheets provided. It is also 2 blocks from RiteAid for random things we forgot. The only things I would advise is that the house isn't air conditioned and there are only 2 showers (one being the outside shower that was everyone's favorite) so just be prepared for that and it won't be an issue. I didn't realize until a week before we left that only one room had a/c but most rooms have a fan, you might have to look in a closet though, but they helped a lot with blowing the cool night air through the house. The only time I really had an issue without having A/C was the afternoon I got there and was running around the house putting presents that I shipped to the house in each room and putting sheets on the beds, after that I got used to it and it wasn't an issue. There also aren't an abundance of power outlets but enough to charge phones, etc but you might need to unplug something to plug something else in when you need to use a hair dryer, etc. The overall biggest complaint about the house/trip was that we didn't spend enough time enjoying everything available at the house. The bonfire was a great way to spend the evening and enjoy time with our group. Being a group of girls, none of us were really all that familiar with starting the fire, but Cindy talked me through it via e-mail and provided everything we needed to get it going and to keep it burning. The house really has everything you need to make for an enjoyable vacation with family & friends. We all want to rebook for next summer! Thanks again Cindy and Harry (and the baaaa boys) for sharing your special home with us!!

Perfect Cape Cod Accomodations
This is a lovely home filled with personal touches. Lots of room for a large group, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds....what more could you want. We had a wonderful time in this very comfortable home. The owners live next door and are happy to answer any questions. And the sheep! So charming, I would go back in a heartbeat!

A storybook pretty vacation home!
Our daughter, son in law, and 5 grandchildren (ages 4 through 15) spent an awesome week with us at Saturday Farm! It is such a lovingly decorated and tended home. All 9 of us had plenty of space to relax - the fire pit was great for the cool nights. We had so much fun flying kites at the beach and the park close by. We all loved the Baa Boys - the kids especially loved sharing pictures and letters with Bromley and Jobey through their "mailbox". Cindy and Harry were great! Felt like an extended family. We will definitely be back!

My family and I loved our visit to the Saturday Farm. The property was extremely well maintained and a high level of detail was paid to every aspect of the property. The yard was perfect for my family to gather around the fire pit and watch the stars at night. My daughter really liked petting the sheep. The house itself is a real must for people that are interested in older homes and the sunroom was also another great place for people to gather. Cindy and Harry were the perfect hosts and made us feel like we were at a home away from home.

Great Cape Cod Vacation
What a wonderful stay at Saturday Farm!! The house is beautiful and gives you a true Cape Cod feel. Excellent location, so much to do that we could have stayed a week longer. We stayed a long weekend and did so many fun things!! Walking distance to beautiful beach and cute towns all around. Must try the Sesuit Harbor Cafe in Dennis!! Excellent food. Also recommend a day trip to Martha's Vineyard, we rented scooters and the ride along the coast was breathtaking!! Cindy defenitlely pays attention to all details. We were constantly going the entire weekend, but could also just do nothing in this house and have a wonderful time!!! Would love to stay here again when we visit the Cape!!! Thanks so much!!!

To put it simple - our best vacation home yet
My family of 7, including our 2-yr. granddaughter just returned from our stay at this adorable, extremely clean "farmhouse." It is like nothing we've ever stayed in - gorgeous antiques, quaint linens, a backyard like out of a magazine, with the most precious 2 sheep grazing in your backyard. The owners, Cindy and Harry, live in the back of the property, but you never see them at all, except to ask a question or to tend to their little baa boys. The sheep are what drew us to the property (for our granddaughter), and I have to admit we were leery of finding sheep smells, etc, but rest assured, there is nothing but the sweet smell of the Cape air. We would return in a heartbeat, but this time for two weeks, one week was not enough. I am smiling now thinking of our fondness of the baa boys because on our 14 hr. ride home, we are were a little jealous of the next family coming in to our lovely vacation home and making friends with those precious boys. Thank you Cindy and Harry for my favorite vacation yet, including our St John vacation.

Saturday Farm: Easy and relaxing vacation with an infant
My family chose Saturday Farm for us for a family vacation because of its charm and because of its size: unlike many other relatively affordable rental properties on Cape Cod, this house had enough beds for more than the nine of us and our infant son. While it was not the type of home I would choose (I like a modern kitchen for easier cooking), the charm of the place more than made up for that. Some of the chairs and sofas, however, could use a re-stuffing to make them more comfortable. Otherwise it was a relaxing, easy-going, and charming little farmhouse.
Essential Rentals, a nearby company, offered functional (if very worn) supplies for our son (crib, stroller, crib sheets, high chair) to make up for what Saturday Farm does not itself have. The fenced back yard, sheep pen, grass, bunnies, and gardens were engaging and safe for our 13-month-old son, who visited Joby and Bromley many times each day. I would advise any travelers with small children that, because of the decor of the place (much beautiful antique furniture), only one bedroom really had enough room for the crib (and we had to move some furniture out of the room to fit it, actually). In addition, any families with people with disabilities should be warned that only two bedrooms are on the first floor and therefore avoid stairs (the stairs to the second floor are very steep, and also not good for very young children--the door can be closed to protect infants from accidentally climbing, etc). We had thought the rooms on the first floor (billed as "master bedrooms") had air conditioning, but they do not. This turned out not to be a problem the week we were there, as the Cape Cod evening breeze was sufficient and the room where we stayed (yellow room) has windows on 3 sides and amazing cross-breezes.
While one can certainly walk to the beach, the walk was long for anyone with physical challenges, and also long for transporting an infant and all the toys and things one "needs" at the beach with a young one. We ended up driving to and from the beach.
The owners were friendly but not invasive of our privacy or family time, warm, and responsive to any issues in the house (for example, a faucet broke while we were there and they very quickly and discreetly replaced it while we were all out at the beach).
As for recommendations, we felt that the owners could have offered (in the materials left in the house) more descriptive information about nearby beaches. A fun family vacation.
