Really enjoyed our stay here. House is in a perfect location near downtown. All the bedrooms are comfortable, downstairs living area is large with multiple rooms such as parlor, living room, dining room etc. Backyard has a nice seating area with outdoor furniture. Would definitely come again.

Maurie and Keith were lovely hosts, and they shared some terrific recommendations on the local scene when we arrived. Merlot Bungalow is cozy and well located with all the comforts of home. Excellent location and comfortable home. Street/train noise was a little louder than expected but some white noise machines took care of it. Great find!

Traffic was little busy at this corner of downtown, but with the air conditioning running, it helped to baffle some of the sound during the evening hours. We particularly enjoyed all of the beautiful antiques inside and the patio outside at night. We will definitely look at Merlot Bungalow for our next visit to Lodi.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this property. It is perfect for our family. So clean and well equiped. How sweet to get bottles of wine and sweets upon arrival. The owners are so responsive. I can't say enough good things about this rental...that's why we have stayed here 3 times! Thanks.

The house was fabulous for six friends we got together for a long needed gathering… It was spread out enough for a very comfortable stay.. I would’ve given it 5 stars but the street noise knocked it down to 4.

This is the fourth time we have stayed in the Merlot House with friends. The kitchen is large and well stocked. We cook and potluck and enjoy eating together at the large dining room table. Walking distance to downtown and Hutchins Square. Lodi has much to offer. We especially enjoy bird watching in various locations and visiting the various wineries.

The house was a good size for accommodating out large family. There were plenty of towels and bed linens as well as a stocked kitchen. This house is located at a four-way stop with a fair amount of traffic. This could be an issue if you’re a light sleeper!

The home is done beautifully. We felt so at home here. Maurie made us an amazing Sunday brunch that really topped our weekend off and made our mother’s birthday fantastic.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house in Lodi. It was within walking distance of the lovely downtown area with lots of shops, restaurants and a movie theater. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was beautiful and well equipped. A real gem.

This place is fantastic; lots of room to socialize and entertain, plenty of bed-space, and the A/C is amazing in the Lodi summer heat. Would definitely rent again.

A perfect home to celebrate our aunt’s 90th birthday. Excellent location to walk to town. Antiques in each room were beautiful! We would recommend this home for any Occasion!

This was the perfect home for our visit to Lodi for a family wedding. We walked to local places and wine tasted nearby. We all loved the comfort of this well cared for Home. We had everything we needed and some extras. We felt very welcome upon arrival and hated to leave at the end.

We are repeat visitors to this house. It is walking distance from downtown and Hutchins Square. The house is beautifully restored and decorated. It is stocked with everything you might possibly need. It is perfect for reunions and groupings of family and friends as there are many areas within the house to socialize. Our group tends to gather around the large dining room table because we like to cook and eat. However, Lodi does have many great and good restaurants of all types. There is much to do in Lodi: wineries, cheese shop, hiking and kayaking at Lodi Lake, delta cruises to the west and many places to enjoy birdwatching. As the house is centrally located, there is some street noise noted from the upstairs bedrooms at night and trains do pass notably through Lodi at night. Some enjoy the trains; others who prefer silent sleep bring earplugs. Owners do everything just right! We will be back!

Our group of four really enjoyed our stay. The property was spacious, had a lot of special touches. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Would stay here again, and would fly in to Sacramento instead of San Francisco!

The house smelled - probably because few windows open. ALL upstairs windows are painted closed which is a fire code violation and very dangerous. All upstairs bedrooms SHARE the master shower and toilet which is not mentioned anywhere. The neighborhood is extremely busy with constant loud traffic. The home is not being realistically portrayed.

The house was great! Clean and well maintained! We were walking distance to downtown which was amazing! I will be back!

My friends and I had a wonderful time staying the weekend at the Bungalow. Spacious home, with comfortable beds, and well-stocked with the basics you'd need for your stay, e.g. cooking spices, snacks, and toiletries. Our host Maurie was thoughtful and responsive to messages, which I greatly appreciated. If you're looking for a place stay in Lodi/Stockton area with a group, consider this cute craftsman!
