The Salmon Cottage is nice. Directly around house the properties make you question your choice but the little house is nice and very convenient to everything

Every thing was great

Everything looked good and worked well. The place is a few steps to anywhere in a town where everywhere is just a few steps away. The Pat Conroy Literary Center is just across the street. Loved it.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The guestbook was a nice touch with recommendations from other guests.

We were spoiled by a vrbo in fl last month that provided anything and everything. Salmon house was cute and provided the bare basics which was okay. Perfect place for two but no more than that. Close to downtown but a bit of walk though you met the nicest folks during that walk. Felt safe with courthouse in view.

This cottage was so cute. It had everything you might have needed. It was well organized and very clean. It was the perfect size for me and my husband. Walking distance to downtown Beaufort. I will definitely stay here again.

This was a delightful cottage to stay in. The property is immaculate, nicely furnished. It is an ideal location for walking historic Beaufort and the waterfront. It is also a great central location to visit the surrounding area., The property owner was very responsive to our inquiries.

The salmon cottage was a nice break. Easy walking to downtown Beaufort and off any major streets, so very quiet. Kitchen nicely equipped, but needs some smaller plates and glass wine glasses. Don't bring a lot of luggage since the storage space is small. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our time there.

cute and clean but tight parking

This was my second stay at this lovely cottage just steps away from Bay Street and downtown Beaufort. The interior is small but certainly roomy and very well-maintained. At the end of last year’s stay I mentioned to the owner that I thought the shower, which had a crack in its floor, might be leaking onto the bathroom floor underneath. A brand new shower was installed, speaking to the responsiveness of the property owner. If there is anything I think could be improved upon it would be the slow internet/older TV which did not receive many channels. A small table/chair on the back deck would be a welcome addition, too.

Cute little cottage. Renovated and clean, air conditioning was quiet and worked well. I really appreciated having a door on the shower, not a shower curtain. Bed has a foam pad which made it extremely sof, sheets were a little worn but still okay. We always bring our own pillows on trips so I can't say what theirs were like. Didn't use the kitchen but it looked well stocked. TV channels were limited but not a big deal. All in all it was a great stay and ibwould recommend it! Just a unrelated side note, be sure to book restaurants ahead if time. Finding a place can be challenging.

Excellent value highly affordable

The property was clean & comfortable. All communication with the owner was on point. I would consider staying there again for a future trip.

The property is centrally located right at downtown historic Beaufort and close to everything else. This was our second time staying in Beaufort and we love it. The cottage is quient and cozy and perfect for two people.

This (orange/yellow) home had a small odor to it but overall was a quaint stay. We rented this home along with the one next door (the purple one)… The purple one was a bit nicer should I need to choose one or the other.

Cozy little cottage convenient to everything in Beaufort. Very enjoyable weekend celebrating my wife’s birthday.

Clean and uncluttered. Tv very basic with just a few channels and quite small. Everything worked, shower good. Shade in kitchen broken and toilet paper holder coming off the wall. Neighborhood quiet but only partially reclaimed.

The stay was very nice. We watched my son graduate from the Marines at Paris Island. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed for the most part. My only complaints would be that the Vrbo ad stated it was for 4 people and although it would have worked it would not have been easy. There is only one bedroom. The couch would have turned into a bed if we needed it but didn’t use it. If there is 4 people they would either have to use the bathroom or living room to get dressed in since there was no second bedroom. There wasn’t enough seating for the 3 of us let alone 4 in the living room. Theres only 1 couch so there wasn’t enough seating in the living room. We had to use a lawn chair. Although your on vacation and watching TV isn’t really a priority, the only channels were news channels for the most part. Very limited to what could be watched. I ended up buying a chromecast and watching my YouTube TV instead. The internet was very slow also and couldn’t keep up with some things we watched (Netflix) but it worked. There also was no enough parking for our truck to park by the house let alone another car if we’d had one there. The stay was nice and the neighborhood was quite and there was a nice coffee shop within walking distance and shops on a little boardwalk were nice too. Overall the stay was nice there were just a few things that could have been different.

My wife and I came down for our anniversary weekend. We enjoyed the little cottage very much. The property was extremely clean and quiet. Located directly behind the Pat Conroy Literary Center, the cottage was a 10 minute walk and a 3 minute drive to Bay Street (restaurants and shopping). We would definitely book again!

Great location cozy and quiet Everything you need fully equipped Two things made me give it 4 stars The mattress is shot. Absolutely no support Very uncomfortable The dehumidifier which is necessary needs to be emptied 2 to 3 times a day at least in august If the mattress was replaced I would stay here again

This house was better than advertised. Amazing location! We could see the waterway from the porch. It is very small, but that was perfect for this trip. Very much a cottage feel. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again and again!

The cottage was clean & a nice location. Easy check in & out. We would definitely stay there again.

The property was in a great location close to downtown Beaufort and easy access to main roads so that we could get to Parris Island in great time. However, upon arrival the house smelt of mildew, the shower was cracked and shower floor was soft and shifty. We had to keep windows open due to the smell. The gutters on the back of the house were falling off. The pullout couch bed had springs breaking through the mattress. Just not what we expected and paid for.

The Salmon Cottage was perfect for our 5 day trip. It was very clean and convenient. Being in the middle of the Historic was great for walking to the water front, shops and restaurants. We plan to visit again soon.

Small but cute and really very clean

We had some unexpected vacation time arise from both of our jobs and we decided to check out Beaufort SC. What a pleasant surprise! Beautiful little town. This little cottage was a gem. Location was great. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops. Just a short drive to several beaches! Super clean and very well stocked with necessities. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed in the cottage next door...purple cottage. It was cute and had everything we needed. Location is great for seeing old town Beaufort.

Only issue was shower not maintaining steady temperature. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. We will book again.
