The unit was nice and the amenities of the place were nice however it would have been nice to know it was on the third floor and only one elevator at the other end of the building which was a long long walk. For some elderly people it would be too much even with kids. It wasnt bad but was not great.

The unit was exactly as described. There were ample pots, pans and utensils. There was a small issue with a bathroom and the property manager promptly responded to our email and the problem was taken care of that same afternoon. We were very impressed.

Condo was clean and had a good view of the pool and ocean. The layout of the condo was perfect for our family.

The 3 bedroom unit was extremely clean and well decorated. The unit was well stocked with bedding, towels, kitchen utensils and toiletries. The view was super and close to all the outdoor amenities. We were very pleased with our stay and look forward to returning year after year to continue to make family memories. *5 Stars is not enough* For both the resort and host.

We come to this complex every year, and this condo checked all the boxes for us. Our kids enjoyed playing on the playground/green space in the mornings and evenings while we watched them from the balcony. We could see the pool and ocean from the balcony as well. This condo in particular was exactly as listed and provides a lot more space than most condos in this complex. Full size washer and dryer was a major plus when staying for the week! We will likely stay here again

This was our first vacation to Atlantic Beach and it was beyond amazing. Our 3 bedroom condo was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Stephanie was an amazing host and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. A Place at the Beach was perfect for my kids. The waterslide and playground were a huge hit. I felt very comfortable and safe which is very important to me. Stephanie's recommendations of places to eat and fun activities was very helpful and greatly appreciated. We are already looking forward to vacation here next year!! I would highly recommend this condo.

The condo was great!! It was clean and had a great view of the open area and ocean. We did have an issue one day and the water was shut off for the whole building but there was a water main break for the whole building. The resort office was prompt at returning my voicemail that day. Great place and stay.

Check in process was straightforward and simple and property seemed quite nice at first glance. We opened the unit and immediately noticed how dirty and unkept it was. Let me preface this review by saying we’ve stayed at many different places and have never felt the need to write a negative review. We understand that not everything can be perfect and wear and tear is the natural order of things when it comes to properties and especially rentals. With that said we would be remiss if we didn’t alert the owners and any potential renters to the issues we found. Firstly, we could tell that there was a dog or small child in the unit previously because the sliding glass door had, what looked like, slobber or greasy hands on it about at knee hight. Not a great first impression. Upon further inspection more came to light. Comforter in the master bedroom had visible stains on it, virtually all cushions had stains and there was a strange smell coming from the couch. Basically any metal fixture in the unit, from the AC vent covers to the shower handles to the shower curtain rod, were rusted. Kitchen cabinets didn’t close properly or at all. AC vents had weeks, if not months of dust clogging the slats and the stucco ceilings had visible dust where the AC outlets blew. Pots and pans were not cleaned properly and one even had what appeared to be mold on it. There is much more to say and most of it negative but I don’t have enough space to elaborate further. Needless to say, renter beware.

The property was in a nice location and had a lot of amenities. The gate guard was also helpful and courteous. I had problems getting to the link for the check in process and the property management did nothing to help, assist or resend. Instead I was constantly emailing her asking for assistance. After 1 1/2 days, she just stopped responding to my text messages. When we finally got to the place, the coffee maker didn't work, there was no streaming services available, there were no TVs in any bedroom and not enough toilet paper to last our time there. I will not stay there again.

We came to visit with my son at cherry point. It was about 30 minutes away but a great beach to be at. Not crowded at all during the time we were there. Great condo and the amenities were nice too. Definitely do grocery shopping at Lowe’s. It may be a bit more expensive, but it is the cutest grocery store I’ve ever seen!

Nice place... amenities were the best thing about it. I would suggest putting a tv in at least one bedroom. I will try to stay on 1st floor next time or near elevator...our knees don't like stairs. Overall we were pleased & well rested.

The amenities at A Place At The Beach are fantastic! Great pools. Great waterslide. Great putt putt golf! Great tennis/basketball courts. Great playground. Great beach. Great open area. What was not so great was the condo itself. The floors were dirty when we arrived. My feet were black on the bottom after just walking through on arrival. Unacceptable. The vertical blinds in the living and one bedroom were mostly missing so when we closed them, the window and sliding doors were mostly still open and not covered. Unacceptable. While I understand putting plastic covers on the mattresses--it makes for VERY hot and uncomfortable sleeping. The kitchen needs more pot holders, more mugs, more drinking glasses. The bedroom with the 2 sets of bunk beds has a window that faces the outer hallway in which there are bright lights on 24/7. That window needs more than just a blind. It needs room darkening curtains or something. I expect cleanliness. I expect a well stocked kitchen. I expect that I will be able to close the window coverings at night and feel confident that no one is able to look in. I do not expect to see a broken light fixture on the deck. I do not expect to see peeling paint on the deck railing. I am quite certain that we will not stay here again. The amenities and the perfect weather made our stay memorable and FUN! The condo needs attention.

The condo is perfect for a week away with family. We enjoyed the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor hot tub, fire pit , playground and water slide. The location is close to everything we needed. Indoor hot tub did not work most of our stay, and the midnight fire alarm on our first night was a little unnerving, but other than that we enjoyed our stay! The rules of having a wristband to use any amenities is strictly enforced, but the gated community made us feel safe and relaxed during our stay. We would definitely consider this place again!

The unit was immaculate and spacious. Had everything we needed to cook, and we loved the spacious seating in the kitchen. It is on the 3rd floor but we didn’t mind the steps, and there’s an elevator you can use too. Great location, close to the beach, loved the property’s amenities, felt safe, and overall it was a perfect place to stay for our family of 4. Unit owner was very quick to respond to one question I had.

4th year at this property. Great amenities and unit is perfect for family. Clean and plenty of room. Hope to return for a 5th!

Condo was nice, clean, spacious. A Place at the Beach is always great for our family.

We have been coming to APATB for a number of years but the last 2 we rented the 3 bedroom for more room. It is great for our family now that the kids are older. We did have a dryer problem, did not work from beginning of week and never did get replaced so that made it a little hard for getting things dried. Would be nice to have another TV in a bedroom so the kids could watch something other than sports, Hope to return next year.

Great for family. Not crowded; allows for good walks down to Fort macon and its loop; pool has a nice slide; variety of food selections nearby; this sums it up best: I'll be back next summer

The complex was prestine. The unit itself was good enough, just a. little old. Plenty of space in the unit for two small families and exactly what we needed for a long weekend getaway.

The property was just as advertised. We want to thank Stephanie for going out of her way to make sure our family had a nice vacation. We would definitely recommend renting with her.

The property is nice and the courtyard would be terrific in the summertime. The walk to the elevator and the beach are not for the faint of heart. If at all possible, I recommend driving to the indoor pool if there are any physical limitations. The unit itself was ok and clean enough but smelled of mold and mildew. I highly recommend taking allergy meds if this bothers you. The cleaning crew missed the balcony, as the guests before us left a bottle of cigarette butts and the cleaning supplies were on the end table when we got there. The beach was beautiful in November and is our favorite.

The only complaint……. Is removing trash……. Or enough areas to dump. Would be asked to have a box outside of door to place trash in and have someone pick up

Condo was clean, plenty of room for party of 7. Nice appliances and enough bathrooms for our diverse group. Property was well maintained including outdoor activities.

Nice place for family stay, bedrooms and baths were clean and nice. Living room furniture good use an upgrade for more sitting at TV.

Condo and grounds were well maintained. Accurate descriptions of both. Towels and linens were included and beds were made when we arrived. We enjoyed our visit very much!

We had a fantastic week at the beach at this lovely 3 bedroom 3 full bath condo. The bunk beds were perfect for our kiddos who had the time of their lives. The owners foresaw all of our needs and we were so happy with all of the amenities and fun stuff to do right there on the property.

Checked out on day 3. Intense rain flooded the property and parking lots. An Act of God is beyond control of course. Unit floors needed a mopping prior to our arrival. While the unit may have been upgraded recently it didn't feel newly updated. Unit was okay but is not on my rent again list $$$. Property would have been great if the rain hadn't come down so hard day after day.

Very accommodating check in process. Great activities especially the water slide! 3rd year coming and expect to return next year!

The condo was well equipped in the kitchen and had extras for the beach. It was nicely updated. We stay at this location every year, but a first in 302. Love the complex and the area. Hopefully we can rent this condo again!

The floors were not clean. There were only a few towels so we had to wash daily sometimes twice

This was a beautiful condo and a great location. My kids really enjoyed all of the amenities! The unit was very clean and even with a lot of people around it was very quiet. We will definitely be back!

We loved the unit because we usually stay in a 2 br but this gave the parents a room, kids a room and grandparents a room. Love having 3 bathrooms. The distance from ocean and pool was a little struggle but the extra br and bath made it great. Only suggestion is it would be nice to have more than the one TV. For winding down at night kids (age 10 and 12) wanted to watch different than adults. We survived. Looking forward to next year.
