Views were awesome! ,condo was very clean. Living room furniture was not comfortable. Different than show in listing. Need more recliners to watch the ocean and tv

The hosts were clear and communicated the check-in process clearly and well in advance of our stay, emailed me after arrival, and left good notes on the property. We slept well and the beds were comfortable, the condo was spotlessly clean with plenty of towels and extra blankets if we needed them. I would happily stay there again and recommend the wheelhouse!

Impromptu getaway to the coast for a couple nights. I always like to pick a place that has a great view of the ocean and this place did not disappoint. Weather wasn't the best but who cares when there is a huge window where we could sit and get mesmerized by the waves. Beach access was right next to the unit so when there was a break in the weather we were able to run down and enjoy the tide pools. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of blankets and towels for our stay. Kids enjoyed the telescope and board games. Didn't sleep very well, the bed wasn't very comfortable. I'm used to a king bed but honestly I don't sleep well in any bed that isn't my own. Overall had a great couple of nights and will remember this unit for future stays.

We traveled from Arizona to spend three days at the Wheel House In Lincoln City, OR. We opened the front door and immediately paused to see, through a wall of picture windows, the beautiful Pacific Ocean.. In just a few minutes you can be walking on the beach below. We found the condo to be clean, the kitchen was well equipped, there’s a large living room, two good sized bedrooms (beds were comfortable), and one bathroom. The hosts were easy to work with. We can’t wait to get back to the Wheel House next summer!

The view & location of property were stunning. We had a wonderful vacation, the only disappointment was the property was listed as 2 bathrooms and it is actually 1 bathroom so I was comparing beachfront properties with other 2 bathroom listings and we tend to prefer 2 bathrooms because we travel with our 4 daughters. Owner fixed the listing, was responsive & apologized. Overall, the location, view & access to the beach we’re top notch.

This property was just as advertised. Location was the best. Quiet neighborhood and we had the best time. I would recommend this to anyone and we will definately be back!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner and manager are so nice and helpful. The unit is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom. There isn't a view from either bedroom so I slept on the full-size pull-out couch one night so that I could fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. That mattress is not comfortable so I slept in the bedroom the other nights. There are 2 recliners to lounge on with a great view though. This complex is located right next to a small steep road and stairs that go down to the beach. It's very convenient. The road for vehicles was closed off, which was nice because it minimized traffic noise. We had 1 car and there was never a problem finding a spot right in front of our unit. It was nice watching the sunset every evening on our patio. It's a good people/dog watching location as people go down to the beach with their dogs during low tide and sunsets. There is a nice fireplace for ambiance and we loved the efficient baseboard heating. Each of the rooms has its own temperature control. There is no washer/dryer in the unit but there were enough towels provided that we didn't need a W/D. A couple of suggestions would be to add a table on the nice little deck to set coffee mugs on and also a little table in the cute little nook area near the entrance would be nice so that someone could sit and do a jigsaw puzzle or write while taking in the view from the double windows in the corner. That's a nice little "getaway" space. You can hear bumping around going on from guests below as vibrations tend to travel up walls. #5 is an older-looking unit with wood paneling and older decor but it was clean and had most everything we needed.

Great View and awesome beach access closet to everything.

The house is very nice and has everything you need in it. The view is wonderful and the sound of the ocean will make you happy you stayed here. My only complaint is that the shower head in the bathroom is low enough that even my wife said it should be up higher.

I was a bit grumpy when I first got there as there was traffic etc and 1) the waits for everything in LC are so very long right now d/t lack of staff at restaurants and peak season 2)some appliances were either missing or not working too well - and we had to cook more than we wanted to. But that was no big deal really.. the feeling only lasted about 30 mins lol… everything still came together nicely and we had a nice visit. The beach is right there, amazing view from the balcony. Tidepools. It’s really a perfect beach condo.

This was the perfect spot for us to stay. It’s right on the beach and had on site parking. It also had an amazing view of the ocean. We will definitely stay here again!

We had family visiting from Ohio that had never seen the Oregon Coast. The condo was perfect. Beautiful view, roomy and wonderfully located. We'd love to stay there next summer as well.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described online. The only thing that I was annoyed with was the noise. However, I suppose that is to be expected when you are located right next to the beach entrance. Overall, very nice place with a great view and easy access to the beach.

This was a great location- the view can’t be beat and the access to the beach was great. Walkable to in town restaurants (north end). The condo is older - as are most of the rentals on the Oregon coast but very clean and well maintained. Two couples stayed and it was perfect. We will be coming back here again!

My two friends and I stay at the Wheelhouse, and the minute we walked in it felt like home! It is such a beautiful home with a view to kill for!! The owners did a fantastic job at setting up the place to make sure you know what’s what like keeping labels above things like the thermostat and fireplace knobs as well as the lights so you know what switch is for what. I was thoroughly pleased with everything and I was honestly sad to leave! I hope to return in the future!

The view of the ocean is incredible and the condo is huge! I wanted to take advantage of my remote working situation while it lasts and even know the weather was terrible, it was still totally worth it to gaze at the sea all day. Overall, it felt like being in a warm and cozy home. Loved it.
