Having access to the pontoon at the property was a real plus It would had been nice to had have guest passes to the community pool

The house is nice. Has great view of the lake. Owner communicated in a timely manner when messaged. We enjoyed the home as we have stayed here three times now. We had trouble with the boat but may have been operator error. Owner worked with us and had boat looked at. They couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Would stay here again.

It was all good except for we wished there would have been a flat access for a wheelchair but that was my fault for not checking. But it was a great stay with plenty to do.

We enjoyed our stay at this home on the lake. It's a great location close to the Thunderbird pool. It's a very cute and spacious home. It's got a nice patio and a great view of the lake. We will be back.

The cob webs under the bed was having me panic about spiders but over all the stay was fine the 2 queen beds ain’t that comfortable at all you better call the king bed the view was beautiful some doors that can’t be opened had me kinda weary to

Great view & beautiful house!

This rental is in a beautiful home with modern appliances. The neighborhood is charming and safe. We rented the boat too, and that was the best part of the week we stayed. Out last day at the lake house, a storm rolled in and several tornados touched down in the middle part of Arkansas. Though we were in the North Central part, I was relieved to be in a home that boasts it's own storm shelter. There was great communication with the owner and all of the procedures for boats and amenities was fully explained in detailed notes. You will love this home, the lake, and the community.

Arkansas is my happy place and this home made it so hard to leave. The house was pretty and clean and had every amenity I could have asked for. The House sits at a dead end of a street making it nice and quiet and private for my family and my two dogs too. Sitting on the deck looking out at Lake Thunderbird is beautiful and that is where you would find me most of the week. There is a full sized grill on the deck. And a paddle boat on the boat dock. Now let me talk about having access to their boat. Having the boat in our own dock available for us to rent made this vacation one of my favorite. You’ll need to plan ahead to get passes to the pool for your week so just know that. No worries about it because the caretaker is very attentive to your needs for that sort of thing. Just don’t miss out on the Cherokee Village pool because it is so nice. I’m planning my next trip back to this wonderful vacation home this year.

Nice quiet weekend getaway

The house was very cute. Could use some additional dishes such as serving dishes , new baking sheets...current ones appear burnt. Pontoon boat could use a good cleaning and up keep but it served the purpose. We rented the tube also which wasn't available, i had to call for it and at the end of our stay we found it in the storm shelter and it was Not inflated anyway. Maybe some better chairs on the lake deck(folding chairs currently there). Over all the lake house worked out great for our stay. I do think the over all service could be a little bit better. We would rent again.

We enjoyed our stay on Lake Thunderbird. The weather was over a hundred degrees but the house was comfortable and cool. The dock area was nice and we used the paddle boat every day. Thunderbird recreation center was a short walk away. The pool there was well kept and not over crowded. We enjoyed walking the nearby trails. The TV and WIFI worked with no problems. With the ROKU we were able to stream our favorite shows although we most enjoyed the quit evenings on the deck. This property is a bargain and we would like to visit again. Probably in the fall to see the autumn leaves. It would be wonderful to retire in this area.

CONS: We were under the impression we were getting the entire house. The day of travel we received the check in information and found out that we were actually only renting a portion of the house that looks like a garage conversion. We were told there wouldnt be anyone in the other part of the house during our stay which was a plus. The space was not comfortable for our family of 6. It was clean and would have been perfect if we had a smaller party. There are only 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom so we always had someone waiting for the bathroom. The paddle boat did not have a cover like pictured which made for a HOT short trip on the water. Also, there really is no access to and from the water at the dock. One of the things that really kind of surprised us was the amount of security cameras that pointed at the common areas of the property. Even the neighbors cameras point right at the deck. It felt a little invasive. There is a camera pointing right at you as you pull in the driveway, a camera at the boat dock pointed at the boat, dock and property and then of course the neighbors camera pointed right at the deck. And another camera on the deck above pointed right at the yard and dock. We completely understand the desire to protect your property.. especially if it is a second home and you dont live there full time. However, when you are renting it out I think it is important to respect the privacy of the guests. There are no board games but walmart is not far from the house... we just ran and got some. PROS: the house has a beautiful view day or night. It is in a cove so there isn't much boat traffic. It is at the end of the dead end road so there is pretty much no vehicle traffic. It would have been perfect for a couple wanting a weekend getaway. The beds were comfortable (bring your own pillows) they did have wifi, Netflix and roku which was nice and thoughtful. There is a gas grill on the deck. The place is decorated nice and would be perfect if my husband and I wanted to ditch our teenagers and spend some time alone. Overall we made it work and enjoyed our time together as a family which is the most important thing.

Home is pretty nice and for it being smaller feels very spacey. Enjoyed our stayed and will hopefully be back in the future

Loved the property and community. Also a short drive to Hardy for shopping.

Property inside is as listed. I would suggest the owners clean the deck table and chairs along with fold out chairs and pergola area…especially that area. Better yet, just replace the fold out chairs altogether. Take your own lawn chairs for that area is my advice unless the owners replace them. The area under the lower deck and alongside the house with the small wooded area need a general cleanup as does the landscaping. It would greatly improve the overall appearance of the property with minimal effort. I would skip renting the old pontoon and rent one from the marina. If the newer pontoon in some of the listing photos ever gets repaired, it may be fine. The location of the property is at the end of a cove which I personally like and the deck is shaded most of the time so no blistering sun in your face. Overall, I would rent the property again without the pontoon.

Would stay again and again. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect vacation spot. The boat started with no problems and the lake was excellent. The house and property was set up great for us. We lived on the deck for the most part, was our favorite place to hangout.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Looking forward to coming back soon. The lake was so clean. The house was perfect and the owner and managers were on top of everything.
