Great condo just as portrayed. One of the few places we have been (January) where you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset from your balcony. Great views.

I selected this listing because of the view. I knew that the younger members of my travel party would be taking in more active pursuits than me and I wanted a great view for any time alone. This unit did not disappoint! All rooms are generous, well appointed, maintained and equipped. Everything you would need for a short or long stay is provided. This unit, and the entire complex, was immaculate. The location on Stack Island is a short drive into Key West but makes for a very quiet, serene environment to come home to. A short written description of the route through the hotel grounds, entry into the condo complex, and the location of the unit made a part of the rental agreement or provided before the trip would have reduced the frustration of both Ms. Mick and my daughter in navigating our way to the unit. I was told over the phone but my notes were most inadequate. And, for those of you who like to sleep in dark rooms, as in many condo complexes, the outside safety lights and morning sun will make you thankful you brought your sleep mask. I highly recommend this unit and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The condo is very nice, great views. The property manager made sure we were taken care of very well. You will be happy with the condo and the location.

The owner was very helpful with the check-in and finding location and parking spot. The condo is very nice with an amazing view. The pool and hottub are well maintained and really nice. The location feels very safe and was quiet. Would definitely stay again. The airport is close and the flight path goes over the condo, but flights are infrequent and don't go on during the night, so really not an issue for us. Carol was so friendly and helpful.

We arrived by boat and stayed in Oceans edge marina immediately adjacent to the property. The condo was better than described in the listing. The view is spectacular and Carol the owner is amazing to work with. The condo had everything needed for short or long stay. We will be back to this gem of a property.

The condo was perfect.... close enough for a quick drive into Key West, but peaceful and relaxing at the condo. Had everything we were looking for. Would recommend and hope to return soon.

Carol's condo was spacious, beautiful and peaceful. We could have been quite happy spending our entire stay there looking out to the water and seeing the eye-level pelicans soar past. The condo is tastefully appointed and the kitchen fully equipped with everything one could possibly need, though we dined out every night at nearby Stock Island restaurants or went to Key West. We'd return in a heart beat. Thanks for the beautiful memories!

This was our second stay in last 3 years, this condo does not disappoint. Well stocked, very comfortable and great view. Location is convenient to downtown Key West or going to visit the other Keys. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a fabulous week in this wonderful condo, highlighted by gorgeous, elevated views of the ocean. Waking up, drinking coffee, and enjoying the sunrise on the balcony overlooking the water was pure bliss. I highly recommend this property.

We stayed here for a week 12/19-26/2021, had a great time! The condo is beautiful, the view of the ocean especially is stunning! Kitchen well equipped, Carol was so easy to reach when we needed to talk to her.. the place is very well maintained, we definitely give it a five star rating and would highly recommend it to everyone! That being said, a few heart felt suggestions: 1) it’s absolutely a must to have blinds or thick curtains in the room opens to the balcony! While it’s beautiful to wake up and see the ocean from your beds, you cannot sleep past 7 am if you want to, because after the 7:04am sunrise, that room gets sooo bright you have no choice but to get up. The blinds and curtains will give the option to sleep in if one wants to, right now it is impossible. 2) one king bed is also a must in this condo! I read a review earlier about that and decided to see for myself, and I totally agree! 3) the bed closest to the balcony needs to be fixed, it feels like it’s about to fall apart. I hope Carol reads this and takes our suggestions. Happy holidays! - Jessica

The condo was very comfortable and spacious. It's extremely well provisioned with all of the essentials like salt and pepper and many other spices too. We found it very quiet and secure at night. The navy planes flying over darning the day are a bit noisy but it's like having your own Blue Angles show every day. I didn't mind a bit. Stock Island is not right in town but there are a couple of good restaurants close by.

The view was spectacular. There was everything we needed (except a pair of scissors) Other guests had left supplies and we did the same.

Second time we stayed here view from patio is unmatched. Short drive to Key West and action but peaceful surroundings.

The condo was cozy and beautifully decorated. Kitchen cooking items were fully stocked. Good size bedrooms for 4 adults we had. Wonderful location. Just Key pad to garage area was located too low for our full size truck. Parking space was tight for our large size truck but next space was vacant which allowed us to park in the middle. The condo was exceptional. Owner, Carol, was available when we needed her. Great place!!!

The unit, complex and views are amazing. Marina staff and property manager were great to work with. However, the furnishings/decor are tired and in need of updating. On surface things looked clean but when you take a closer look things need to be replaced. No king bed in master bedroom is not acceptable for a vacation rental.

Our visit was awesome. The condo and surrounding area of the marina is beautiful. Very peaceful. We went fishing one day and found out from a local that Yellowfin will cook your fresh catch! It was delicious. We ate breakfast in every day and it was nice to find spices and other items useful for cooking meals. We felt right a home here. We normally stay at the southernmost end area but wanted a change of scenery. We are so pleased that we found this place. The condo was everything we had hoped it would be and then some. Stay here if you get the chance. You will not be disappointed. We will be back again next year!!

Beautiful condo and very comfortable

We came to Captain Carol’s condo with our two teens, and every one of us gasped at the view upon walking in- breathtaking! The quiet, gated community has 4 pools, a hot tub, and immaculate grounds. It was easy to get to, and felt like home. Stocked with more essentials than we could use in the too-short 4 night stay, comfy couches and beds, heavenly sheets, and a full patio setup, it was more than we could have asked for. Highly recommended- Carol was a breeze to work with, and super responsive. Advice- read the Book when you get there! This will be a go-to in Key West for us, and can’t wait to stay again!

It was great ! I feel bad because my fiancé lost his drivers license and we did not have the town to clean up as well as usually but Carol was great her place is also very nice !

This was my first VRBO experience and it went far above and beyond my expectations. Carol was very sweet and easy to communicate with. The place was even better than the pictures. Nice and clean, beautifully decorated, and a great big balcony to sit on for enjoying the ocean views and breezes. It's also in a gated area so we felt very safe. The pool was nice as well and was never busy. Oh, and it's only 10 min from the airport! Olf Town is approx. 15 min away which was close enough to drive to almost everyday but far enough away from the chaos. Take your vacation to Key West and book this place! - you will not be disappointed. Thanks Carol !! And thanks Jerry for keeping the place tip-top!
