Had 6 adults riding street bikes. Plenty of room to hang out/sleep plus room to park our bikes plus a truck and trailer. Hard to find a cabin with this much parking.

Beautiful! The hot tub faced the beautiful views, as did the wraparound porch and the huge windows in the living room!. My family’s had a mini reunion there, and we never felt cramped, only appreciative of the spacious area and beautiful surroundings. The pictures really don’t capture how beautiful the views are. My mom already is planning to come next year!

It was great with our kids! Only issue was problems with the fridge. But it is an older fridge. Host was quick with suggestions. House was very clean

We’ve stayed here two years in a row & absolutely love it! The house was roomy for our family group, and the privacy and view were amazing. The owners have always been extremely timely answering any questions we’ve had. Highly recommend!!!

Just what we needed for an early Christmas gathering. Prompt communication, well stocked, great location and a plenty of room for adults and children to have their own space yet also gather together as a group.

This place was perfect! The loveliest cabin tucked away at the top of a mountain with stunning views. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. It was very clean and spacious, with a lot of room for us to all have our own space. The owners were great communicators and willing to help with anything we needed upon our arrival and throughout the stay. We felt very welcome from the moment we stepped foot onto the property. The location was great, close to Bryson city activities, gem mining and other fun, mountainous things to do. Can’t recommend this place enough, it was perfect!

Great trip from the beginning. The directions were spot on. The house had plenty of privacy and room for the dogs to run outside. The house was spotless and Amazingly Well stocked. The kitchen had everything you need. Unbelievable attention to detail. Little things like including a discount card in the welcome book for the local grocery. Great views from the deck. Awesome sleeping accommodations. We are already planning our next vacation there in the spring.

This house and location has a tremendous amount to offer. With more than ample room and well appointed with the signature view of the mountains both inside and outside, the house should satisfy most anyone. It's located within very reasonable time an distance of the many attractions available in that are both natural and man made. We had a fabulous time.

We had a fantastic stay at the High Valley House. The view was absolutely stunning, and we were even lucky enough to have a rainbow appear over the mountains at the end of our stay. The house was very clean and provided plenty of space for group of 8. The location was also great and we enjoyed Nantahala National Forest, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and Lake Fontana. Kent was great about communicating and making sure that we had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay there again!!

Mountain View’s inside and out. Love the swing and hammock on the covered porch along with table and chairs. Plenty of space inside with a stocked kitchen. It’s home away from home. 10-15 minutes from NOC or Bryson city. It’s our second time here and I’m sure there will be a third. It’s just tranquil…

Every detail was thought of for convenience - we had the best time. The park nearby was amazing!

In one sentence: This place was everything we had hoped it would be, from size and convenience to location and comfort. We'd go back in a heartbeat. Our host was incredibly attentive and everything was as it should be. We had ourselves (senior couple), another couple in their 20s and 30s, and a family of four. Everyone slept in a bedroom, and we could have added a couple more folks by using the loft. The two dogs were happy, too. We're from California: the AC worked, making the humidity a lot less annoying. Our son and daughter-in-law both graduated from culinary school; they did the bulk of the cooking and had no complaints about the kitchen. All they brought was a favorite knife. Note: whether each of us had cell phone service depended upon our provider. Those of us with ATT were good; those with T-Mobile couldn't get a signal. The Wi-Fi setup was good and accessible throughout the house, but the bandwidth itself varied. The house is a comfortable family place, with all the necessities, storage so you can unpack, pillows, blankets, etc. I never once heard a complaint from anyone. We felt like we were completely alone in the forest, with an incredible view of forests and hills for miles. We went to some local attractions (worth doing) but I think we enjoyed most just exploring, hiking, and wading/swimming in the rivers. Probably my best VRBO ever.

Best location for activities...hiking..tours. Fantastic view. Best stocked home we have ever rented. Owners were so quick to answer any question we had and even made sure we had complete directions to home. Best vacation we have had in a long time. Definitely would love to stay again in the future.

The High Valley House was clean, well-appointed, and had plenty of space for our group of motorcyclists. The location is ideal for convenient access to some of the best motorcycle roads in the US. Communication with the owner was fantastic.

We had a great time staying at this property!! There was plenty of space for my family if four and my sister's family of four, plus two dogs. The porch offered an amazing view and a great place to just relax!! The hot tub was a big hit being used during both the day and at night under the stars. The property is also located close to Bryson City downtown, Cherokee, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We had such a great time and we will definitely be back!!

This location is more magical than the pictures lead it to seem. Driveway is nicely paved and house is amazing. Beautiful view and glorious sun rises. Great fishing locations nearby with a bait shop. Bait shop workers are very helpful and nice. Will return next year.

Spectacular views, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. This was a great place to relax, unwind, and just enjoy life.

This house was amazing. The view was spectacular. The hot tub was a treat every night. The grandkids enjoyed having a fire and making s’mores one night. Very clean and well maintained.

The High Valley House is a good place to relax and unwind. The view is just beautiful! Even our kids loved the place. The house have everything we need to make our stay comfortable. We also love the laid back feeling of the town and the Great Smoky Mountain is exhilirating.

Loved the High Valley house!!! Perfect location with lots of privacy and WHAT a view! Interior was very spacious and inviting, and the owner answered all my questions in an extremely timely manner before we arrived. We're already planning our trip for next year!

Perfect for a group of friends to get away from it all and ride off into the sunset. Enough room on the property for towing a 20 ft trailer. The house was everything we expected and more. And of course hitting the hot tub under the stars helped unwind for a good nights sleep. Everyone already wants to rebook for next year. Thanks to Mr Kent for sharing a wonderful gift with the world.

Great time staying here. Great to bring dogs with. The driveway on motorcycles was an attention getter. lol Quiet and peaceful with an amazing view of the smokies to look at with morning drinks. We would like to stay there again but probably won't due to the amount of stairs and our age for dealing with the stairs. lol

From the moment I saw this listing I knew I wanted to stay here and I was not disappointed! Kent was so accommodating and always responded to any questions quickly before our arrival. We were old friends getting together after many years apart and needed a place to gather. This was it! We filled all the bedrooms and had lovely places for conversation from the loft to the deck. Meals and games at the table and fun cooking together around the island. The view was so refreshing and just what we hoped it would be. This place is a treasure!

This was an amazing property. We loved the house and the views. There was plenty of room for 2 families. The kids enjoyed having the loft as their own getaway. We will be back soon!
