This was our fourth time staying at Roco Lora and it’s still our favorite place. The property, food, service, views, and location just can’t be beat! Thanks to Steve and Ana and Miguel for always making it such an amazing experience!

While the photographs are amazing, Casa Rocaloro is even more impressive in person. Once you get a hang of the set up (three bedrooms that are self-contained suites for the most part) you’ll love this place. The views are truly amazing. And, most importantly, Miguel and Ana will make you feel extremely welcome and will set you up with picture perfect breakfasts and dinners. Really made a good experience into a fantastic one. Will come back.

If you’re thinking about booking this property, do it already. It was absolutely stunning. The views, the rooms, the pool/jacuzzi, Miguel & Ana, all amazing. It was so convenient to be able to have meals at the villa rather than going out each meal. It gave us a more relaxing vacation to not have to worry or rush down to town everytime we got hungry. The food was delicious as well. I loved waking up to such a stunning view overlooking the beach each day. It was honestly hard to leave the villa and we hung out here more than any hotel I’ve ever spent time at. Why leave when you already have it all? A few things to note that didn’t bother us but could be helpful: there weren’t curtains, I recommend a sleep mask if you’re wanting to sleep in. Lack of water pressure in the showers, and it took a long time to get warm water to shower. Again, these small things didn’t take away from our stay. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the main road in Mismaloya from the villa. Going down is easy, coming back up is a nice little workout. I loved getting the exercise but just a warning for those visiting without a car. We could walk this faster than waiting around for an Uber. 10/10 and I would definitely come back to stay here again. We’ve already pitched this as a group vacation in the future!

Our family stayed for five nights at the villa and had a great overall experience. The villa is spacious, clean and beautiful. The views of the ocean are amazing. The mother/son team of Ana and Miguel were wonderful. Ana's food is delicious and Miguel was always helpful. If you are considering a visit to the area, this villa is definitely worth a look.

The owners communications were fantastic and the onsite property hosts did a great job!

This house was amazing! Ana and Miguel were wonderful, and all of our meals were delicious. We spent the days at Mismoloya Beach, which was a short walk from the house. The rooms were all separated and spacious, and our only suggestion would be that the owner add curtains for extra privacy. The hot tub overlooks the ocean, and the two upper rooms had beautiful views of the ocean as well. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay! The meals were amazing and the house is beautiful.

We have now stayed here two times. This is unique for us because we have a family rule that we only stay at a house one time to explore other homes in the area; however, we couldn't resist one more visit. As always Anna was amazing. She took care of our family like we were one of her own. Truly, she is incredible. We have some different food requests and she was always able to accommodate some picky eaters and they were always full and happy. Massagers every day at the beach for $20. Trips into PV for some epic dinning, boat trips, jet skiing at the beach. I could go on and on but all I will say is "GO". It will be one of the best vacations ever. It was for us ... TWICE.

We have been coming to PVR for 23 years and have stayed in many villas. This is by far our favorite. The layout, decor, views are incredible. Each bedroom is huge with setting areas and comfortable beds Anna and Miguel went above and beyond our expectations. They are reason enough for a return trip.

This is a perfect hideaway! With huge bedrooms and a lush pool area and of course Anna & Miguel, there isn’t anything else we could have asked for! The property was just like it was listed, but better! The beds were very comfortable, the pool was pristine, the food was incredible, and the only problem was that the 10 days went by too fast! Anna and Miguel were perfect! They made sure we had everything we needed including the most delicious meals, arranged a day of boating and gave us just the right amount of privacy! They were so wonderful to talk with! The view was to die for!!!! So many places to take amazing photos!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Great place, just like the photos. The town was just enough to not be crowded. Ana and Miguel were an awesome addition, great food. The one drawback was the master shower had no water pressure and the others took a while to get warm.

This property is beyond amazing. The layout is so unique and spacious and the views are breathtaking. Every bit of our stay was comfortable. But the best part is Ana and Miguel. They take care of your every need. The food is top notch! We were sad to leave, but will definitely be back!

The property was gorgeous. However finding it from the airport was a problem. None of the taxi drivers knew where the property was. It wasnt even on Google maps! There was no communication from the property owner about this. That could have been communicated before we got to Vallarta! The property owner was extremely rude and not very accomodating. However, the staff on arrival at the villa was very nice and helpful. Just dont deal with the owner. If your looking for an out of the way place (45 min from Vallarta), away from the action, then by all means rent this place. We will be staying in Vallarta next time.

This is our 5th time at this property and again we had the best time! It's such a beautiful, amazing place to stay. One of the very special reasons this place is so great is because of Ana and Miguel. We all feel as though they are now our friends. The food that is prepared is so so good and authentic! They do everything they can for us to enjoy our stay. The rooms are amazing and spacious. The pool was clean and refreshing. The views are really something. The owner communicates very well! We will be back asap!

Property was beautiful. Ana and Miguel the on staff people were great. Meals prepared to your request were great. They did all our shopping and our money went much further than normal for groceries. Bedrooms needed some privacy sheers or something but otherwise very nice. Miguel helped us with making reservations, excursions and taxi services and were all inexpensive and great. If you like being away from the action this is the place for you.

Fantastic vacation, I would highly recommend it to all my friends. The food was outstanding, Ana is a wonderful cook!

This property is absolutely gorgeous! The views are spectacular and each part of the house is designed with function and style in mind. The privacy that each suite provides was unexpected and appreciated. The owner, Steve, is very responsive and the on-site staff is extremely accommodating. I will recommend this lovely oasis to all my friends. The only problem we had was that our stay was too short. We will have to plan to stay a bit longer next time.

We had a wonderful time staying at this rental! We were a family of 6 adults and each room was amazing! Ana and Miguel were so nice and helpful and made us the BEST meals! The views were beautiful and it was secluded but a short taxi into town as well! The only issue we had were these little bitty bugs that bit us all! You couldn’t see them but ate us alive during the day. Miguel said it was that time of year , May, that these bugs are around. No amount of bug spray mattered. Other than that it was a wonderful vacation

We love this villa! It’s nestled into a cliff overlooking the ocean with perfect sunrise and sunset views of the ocean on all sides. You can not beat the views!!! This home is so unique and Anna and Miguel make the stay so memorable! Anna is the best chef, she should have a restaurant. They are so very kind and we love them! We can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Roca Loro. We had 2 families with a total of 5 children ages 4-10. The kids loved the pool. The view and setting is spectacular.. I can't imagine a better place to see a sunset anywhere. It is pretty good walk downhill to Mismaloya (especially with kids) so we typically would walk down and take a taxi (or 2) back up. Ana is an amazing cook. She can make whatever you like but is very good with suggestions and accomodates the children well. She did especially good Snapper Veracruz, Chile Rellenos, Chicken Fajitas, and Chilaquiles. Basically, they will store leftovers for a few days for you and when the kids wanted late snacks we had leftovers available. Miguel has a childhood friend Sammy who does boat trips from Mismaloya who took us out on a day trip with snorkeling and to Yelapa which was amazing. We had a humpback whale even breach right next to our boat which led to some great photos. Overall amazing trip and amazing place.

Staying here is an experience you’ll never forget. All the reviews are true - it’s so much better in person.

Outstanding property, great views, great people

Loved every moment of our stay at this place. You can't get enough of the view. Miguel and Ana were so welcoming and took care good care of us. They made us authentic Mexican food everyday. I would highly recommend this place.

The property is as shown in the photos, you will not be disappointed with the home or the views. Miguel and Ana are perfect hosts and all prepared meals were fantastic! The owner Steve is very responsive to all communications.

The property was amazing with its ocean views, privacy, and 5 star accomendations to maximize your stay,. Just a short walk to the beach all down hill (catch a $6 dollar cab ride back). We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

This is a fabulous property in a wonderful area with a beach right down the hill and plenty of nearby shopping and eating. It's about 20 minutes from central PV, and has immaculate views, a great pool and jacuzzi. The owner is very responsive and the staff makes you two meals a day. We had a great time and you will too!

Staying at this villa was amazing and fit everyone’s needs. A short drive into downtown, laying around the pool, going on a boat ride, walking on a beach, and going to a waterfall with zip lining, are all easy things to do. Anna and Miguel were helpful and accommodating.

The location was excellent—away from the city. The view was amazing. Loved the accommodations. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time. Great place and highly recommend.

My Family and i stayed at this Beautiful home for one week. We loved it so much we didn't want to go home. We fell in love with Anna and Magill. They greeted us every morning with a beautiful breakfast. They were so hospitable and kind. Honestly we loved every day every minute. Definitely going back every year.
