Overall, everything was fine. However, the home needed a lot of cleaning. The dust on the ceiling fans and bathroom fans was very thick. Lightbulbs were burned out over the dining room table. I did love the floor plan, ease of renting and checking in and out, and the location. We had a great family trip. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet, but overall, again, we really enjoyed our stay.

Was a great place to stay, but not much for activities if you want to do more than be at the beach or the pool.

We relished the quick and easy walk to the beach and enjoyed the shared pool for a relaxed water alternative. We appreciated the outdoor shower and hose access to minimize bringing sand into the home. The open shared space was enjoyable to share with friends.

The house was nice, lots of rooms and well stocked. It looks like it has been partially rennovated, new floors, beds and paint. There were lots of sleeping spaces and bathrooms, but unfortunately the house can only seat 6 comfortably in main living space even in dining room so we had to eat in shifts.We bought some beanbag chairs to sit together and play a game or watch a movie. Also had to buy a firestick as it did not have one. Now the important thing, the location! It is located close to the beach which was very convienent. Be aware there is no beach "view" unless you stand up and look over the side. Otherwise when you are sitting you are looking at the side of a house or the road. The road gets noisy with young people racing up and down at night Also right across the street is a bar and a club. The noise on friday and saturday nights was very bad. After 2 am when the club closes people hang around until 3 am talking and laughing, sounds like they are right outside your bedroom. We knew about the trailer bar but were unaware of the Tortuga night club. There is a sound machine app we discovered on our phones which helpedbut our first Saturday night we got no sleep. Very unfortunate the town would zone bars that close to residential living. We made the best of it and all in all we had a great time on the beach and having a pool was nice too. The host was great and responded quickly to any issues we had.

Our family loved our trip! The place was perfect, clean, well stocked and super close to the beach!

Stayed here Monday-Friday with my mom, her friend my 2 sisters, cousin & her 11 month old. getting ahold of the host was super easy and they replied back super fast. The house was clean, just make sure to bring your own linens ( pillow cases, blankets ) & also bring your own toilet paper but those are things that are told when you book but overall we had the best trip! The beach & pool is not even a minute walk and not crowded! We would deff stay here again!

The host is a really great communicator- from swapping dates to a small maintenance issue- the host responded immediately and took care of what was needed very quickly. The condo was in good condition and perfect for the weekend. Very quick walk to the beach. The condo is very close to a popular bar and it was a little louder than we anticipated. It didn’t effect our trip but I’d bring sound machines for the kids in the future. Great weekend spot!

Fabulous Stay. Perfect Central Location on the Island. Super Family Friendly for mixed ages. Beach right outside our door! Only concern is the amount of stairs...Our 60 yr. old arthritic knees took a beating...No issues for the Young Bucks. Highly Recommend...Owner Lovely to interact with.

Mold on shower curtains, cookware very outdated-teflon scratched; ceiling fans and air vents covered in dust/dirt. Ice maker didn't always work and leaked; mattress in master bedroom needs replaced-big indentation in the middle. Difficult for 2 people to sleep.comfortably. Condo advertised for 10 guests but only 6 chairs for seating at dining room table. Carpet entering into master bedroom pulled up and nails sticking out.

We loved every bit of our stay here. Everything was amazing. Plenty of space for our group of 3 adults & 5 kids. Great communication with the host. We will definitely be back! Hopefully sooner than later. We already miss it 😂

Our stay was a short one, only 3 nights, but the location was right in the middle of everything and the beach is so close! You can see the ocean from the deck!

We loved our visit! We walked the beach, the pier, found sharks teeth and sea glass! It was such a nice relaxing trip that was just what we needed. The island was not at all what we expected and we will be coming back. Our mutts loved the beach and all the walks they got to take!

The process was pretty easy - I had never used Vrbo before. The house was good but way too many stairs for elderly people. That’s the only down side.

Make sure you read the complete description…..there are no linens or towels. We had to go to Walmart in Jacksonville to buy some….but the owner was nice and we should have read the description more closely.

We had such a lovely time. Perfect amount of space, well equipped kitchen, just steps to the beach which made it convenient for bathroom runs. A few cosmetic issues but put it down as rental wear and tear. Hoping we can do the same thing next year!!!!!

Was so pleased staying here this is a rather large three bedroom three bath townhome plenty of room for everyone the kitchen was stocked full of everything you could need the beds were extremely comfortable the beach is a short walk away you can hear the waves from the upper deck it’s really just a wonderful relaxing place and I would recommend it to anyone

Great time again. Love Surf City and this property. Great location. A couple steps to the beach and close to eating and shopping locations

Location is great with a very short stroll to the beach and a city playground. House is a great layout with lots of options to bunk. Kitchen had plenty of supplies and washer/dryer were convenient. We appreciated each bedroom having an en-suite for privacy! Parking was super manageable even with three cars.

Renting was easy. Property owner is quick to get back.

Very relaxing and close to beach

Dealing with Kristi was a pleasure. As with any stay there are things you may not like or an issue may arise and we did have one that was out of anyone’s hands, which was an AC issue. Kristi was very responsive and immediately had a resolution and eta for the repair. We were very appreciative of her care. The property is very convenient to the beach and if you cannot find ocean front this is a great option.

great location and property- owner is super responsive to any communication. Overall upkeep needs work- pretty significant kitchen faucet that leaks onto counter, mold all over all of the shower liners, fleas present, very thick dust on air vents and fans. Owner was notified and will follow up.

Close enough to the beach to hear the ocean. The public access we used to get to the beach just happens to be where the turtles are released back to the ocean. We witnessed one during our stay. Awesome! A short drive to several of our favorite shops and restaurants. Plus a convenient store across the street. The one small issue we had was quickly taken care of by the host. Couldn’t have asked for a better week! Would rent again!

The rental was fairly clean. The only problem was a terrible knat problem in the kitchen and bathroom. We also saw two roaches which are common in the area. The air conditioning vents were black with mold and the fans were dusty.

Enjoyed staying here! Was nice and clean and ample room for everyone. There is a playground next door and is a plus with kids!

MY only problem was all the stairs. But very nice and close to the playground for the kids.
