Lovely spot. Close to private beach. Quiet neighborhood. Fun clean space for multi generational family!

It felt like home, very comfortable, clean, and well taken care for with all the comforts of home. The views of the salt pond from the decks was great and the neighborhood was quiet and the people were friendly. My only suggestion would be to add a Keurig. If we come back to the area again next year, I would definitely stay here.

Beautiful home we really enjoyed the beach and the area. We were able to enjoy A few new restaurants. The views were wonderful. Lots of Light throughout the home. Perfect for a family gathering !

We really enjoyed our 1 wk stay at this large Clinton Beach home ! This home was spacious, very clean, cool (great AC) and well equipped. It was bright and sunny with gorgeous views from inside and from two expansive porches. We entertained our large family for dinner one night with ease and very comfortably. (Although I did need to borrow a large ceramic platter) We were able to squeeze 5 cars in the home's parking area. The upside down foot print of this home means you can really enjoy the great views but must also be prepared for climbing the stairs a lot (bedrooms and bathrooms are on 1st level, while living room, dining and kitchen are on 2nd level) We wished the LR TV and the 2 burner BBQ grill were larger but we certainly made out fine with those provided. The master bed was very comfortable, although the fitted sheet could have been larger because it kept popping off the corner and creeping up the sides. We would happily rent this place again. The house is perfect for families that want to walk or bike; it's close to wonderful beach front state parks. The owner responded truly in seconds to a check-in question. The split level house may be challenging for people who can't handle a lot of stairs. No desk for mobile workers. (We ended up buying a portable one). Overall, this house is roomy and in an wonderful location within walking distance of downtown Clinton. We'd stay again.

Short walk to a small beaches, but lots of fun at low tide on the sandbars. Nice cool AC and spacious living area. Very comfortable with 5 adults and 2 kids. Parking for 3 cars, 4 cars would be tight. Space is light a airy and great lot of windows. Easy to get to town and main roads. A little confusing instructions from owner on sweep cleaning vs. no cleaning fee (we were charge a cleaning fee). They need to update the instructions.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time in Clinton at this property. Property is as described. Very comfortable and accommodating. We would like to return there.

This place had everything we were looking for and more! Quiet neighborhood, short walk to the beach and spectacular views! And the icing on the cake was the surprise sunset view from the decks. Would definitely stay again!

We took advantage of the off season one last time before our oldest starts kindergarten. We hit the weather lottery the week we were at this house. The house is fantastic and well equipped, one of the best rentals we've stayed in. We loved the small association beach nearby and it was perfect for our kids. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

The house is as pictured on the web. Immaculate and spacious. Bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first floor. Second floor is one large great room with a lovely covered porch and the third floor is a family room. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe for children. Beach is less than a five minute walk and empty most times. Water is extremely shallow and not possible for adults to swim in but great for kids. The house is well equipped and the AC worked well on the first and second floor but not so well on the third floor. The goal for our very hot week in July was to have a comfortable house where we could have a safe visit with our son, his wife and infant daughter during the pandemic. A petty complaint is there are too many glasses, pots and pans and storage containers in the kitchen making it difficult to store things but only three mugs and one dishtowel. But that is a minor complaint. Overall the house met our expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable place to stay away from crowds at a very reasonable price.

This was our second time renting this home and it was just as we remembered it. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed our time at the private beach and the kids loved the bike rides around the neighborhood. The house was well equipped and instructions were clear. We will definitely be back!

Great location and very clean and comfortable house. The living space on the second floor was great for hosting friends and family. We walked to the beach every day and were also close to good restaurants. We had a great visit in Clinton.

We had a wonderful stay in this home! It was a short walk to the beach which was helpful with 2 young children. The home was spacious and very clean, well equipped with all of the essentials! The beach was small and perfect for kids, although a little rocky so water shoes are recommended. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home and would highly recommend it. Reid answered all questions promptly!

We loved our visit in Clinton. Even though the weather wasn’t great, the home was perfect. Plenty of puzzles and games to keep everyone happy! There was plenary of space to spread out. We will definitely come back!

My husband and I brought our 3 month old daughter here for 3 weeks - and the house was everything we imagined and more! The house was neat, clean and well-stocked with all of the essentials we needed to enjoy the beach, make great family meals and relax. It was also extremely hot the first week we were there and the central air was a lifesaver! Being so close to the quiet neighborhood beaches was awesome and just what we were looking for. Our goal was to have a relaxing place to introduce our little one to family on the east coast and this home was perfect - plenty of comfortable space to catch-up with family inside and out. We loved everything about our stay and if we could've stayed another 3 weeks we would have. Thanks Reid for being so easy to work with and answering all of our questions! Everyone that visited loved the house, neighborhood and already asked if we'd be back next year!

My family and I five adults and three small children stayed at this location for a full week. It was exactly as described, very close to two private beaches in a very quiet neighborhood. The house had plenty of room, we were never on top of one another and since we’re all good cooks loved that the kitchen came fully equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. There are many great attractions and restaurants in the nearby towns of Madison Westbrook and Old Saybrook, and the Chamard Vineyard is a short ride away offering a great tasting menu and restaurant. I would highly recommend this home for a wonderful beach vacation.

From the moment we arrived and opened the doors....to the designer comfort and decor of all three floors...from the porches that look out to the view of the marsh land...not to mention 2 beaches and a park amass with soft sand...a jacuzzi tub, rain shower and grill...if I didn't have to go back to work, I would be there still. This was everything it advertised and MORE!!!!

spent a week in this lovely home and couldn't have asked for anything to be better. House had everything we needed, lots of room, cute decor, kitchen was well equipped even stocked with herbs and spices, BBQ grill outside which we used once and it worked well. Master bed and bath were comfy and roomy. Neighborhood is quiet, many people walking dogs and just enjoying the area. The town was so close and had everything we could ask for and then some, lots of great places to eat and shopping very close. Our daughter got married at Chamard Vineyards and it was just the right distance to drive and also to her home in Madison. WE really enjoyed the water and fishing in the area too... Hope to make this a yearly event (not the wedding just the shore and vacation part..LOL) Owner was available for questions and knowledgeable of area. Thank you so much for the great vacation!

We loved our vacation week in Clinton. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood with little traffic. It was a great neighborhood for walking and it was very easy to take our kayaks down to the beach and explore the area. People were extremely friendly. The second floor with the kitchen and open area was perfect for our family. We had plenty of room and loved sitting out on the upper deck, watching the kayaks and paddleboards in the inlet across from the house while eating our dinner or having cocktails. The kitchen had great appliances, plenty of dishes, glasses, and cookware, and a gas grill outdoors. Very convenient to the outlets, grocery stores, restaurants, and of course, Dunkin Donuts. We're looking forward to returning in the future. Reid was very responsive to my questions prior to our stay and very helpful. Overall, a great experience!

Approximately 6 weeks before our intended arrival we were notified by the Property Manager that there were major plumbing and septic problems. This was caused by unusual heavy rain during April, May and June. Therefore the property was closed until January of 2014.

The house was just like the pictures! A very short walk to two private beaches which were very clean and quiet. The neighbor hood was wonderful with everyone extremely nice. Loved the 3 decks on the house enjoyed using every one of them! The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows the kitchen was also stocked with lots of cooking items. Would highly recommend this house and will plan of staying again.

Family (adults) visit for college graduation. Location worked well and the house is just what we needed. All arrangements worked smoothly. Clinton provided all supplies needed food etc.

Our Clinton Rd. experience was wonderful! We loved the house, location, beach, ect...The patio's are incrediable, the views fabulous and it was perfect for our family of 5. Reid Roberts was wonderful from the beginning. Maybe just bring a couple extra towels. Thanks for a unforgettable vacation, Reid and homeaway. We will definitely use you again!!!
