Mission Bay Villa was Awesome. Namir was the best hostess and housekeeper. Chef Anthony's food was amazing. Olvin the caretaker keeps the grounds in immaculate condition. We loved the pier and spent a lot of time there and in the pool. It was a fantastic trip.

11 of us stayed and visited Belize as a big family vacation. The staff (Anthony, Namir, Olvin and Maverick) were super friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of things to do at the house which we took part in like paddle boarding, kayaking and just sitting on the dock. It was great.

We had a large family of 12. Namir and Anthony took very good care of us and the Villa. They were so accommodating in everyone’s wants and needs. They both made our stay very enjoyable. We had never experienced chef services and housekeeping with VRBO. Highly recommended 😎

This was a perfect vacation spot for our family-9 adults and one infant. From booking and communicating info on tours, to housekeeping, to the chef. Relaxing, safe, beautiful! We're all ready to go back.

We had two families traveling together for a total of nine adults. The accommodations worked perfectly for us. Each of four couples had a private room with an en suite, as did the one single person. The rest of the time we gathered in the open-to-the-outside first floor dining and living area. It was perfect for reading, eating, playing games and taking in the beautiful view. From there, it was just a few steps to the pool or the ocean. We enjoyed the golf cart rides into Placencia (about 25 minutes). The staff was truly amazing! The caretaker, chef and housekeeper were all friendly and great at what they did. We enjoyed visiting with them, but they never intruded. We have no complaints, and would happily stay here again.

We loved this place! It was super clean, and our hosts were amazing and blessed us with some amazing meals. Our only regret is we didn't have them cook more for us. Namir and Anthony were the best!!! The only small complaint we have is the paddle boards did not appear to be very sea-worthy. Otherwise, we would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Amazing Magical and Epic.

Mission Bay is exactly what you would expect; lovely beach, great pool, perfect house, and a terrific location! Even with a large group, all the bedrooms felt private and we had great spaces to spend time all together. The staff was amazing and kept everything very clean and organized. The chef prepared delicious meals and made accommodations, as needed. It’s the rainy season in Belize, yet we still had great weather, just some rain at night. The village was very quiet, making it a great time to go, though some places were shut down during this slow time. We cannot wait to go back to Belize and will definitely be staying at Mission Bay again!

The house was fantastic, the chef Anthony was better than the local restaurants and the house keeper kept it perfect.

I have used vrbo for about 5-8 properties this is the first time you slapped a service fee onto the price. In doing so it changes the nightly rental cost which I think is a total scam. I see no reason for your service fee my guess is your already making money by listing the house. I used to really love VRBO but if this surprise keeps happening I will rent from some other place.

From the beginning it was a perfect vacation. We had arranged a shuttle from the airport and when we arrived they had chips and salsa and tropic juice waiting for us. It was nice having our own pool and the beach was right outside the gate. Super convenient with the golf cart to get to restaurant and stores. I will be honest, if anyone rates this less than a 5 I am not sure what they are looking for in a vacation home.

We loved Belize and it’s people! After rescheduling 3 times due to Covid we finally made it! Seventeen in our group - age range 64 down to 18 months! The property was perfect - although it obviously needed a little TLC (we were told changes were coming)! Namur and Anthony were the best - they treated us like family and we were sad to leave them! The pool and beach and dock were awesome! There was a lot of sargassum seaweed but that was out of our control!

It was amazing and fulfilled all of our dreams and expectations! Our caretaker Namir was beyond helpful! She answered all of our questions and was very considerate of all of our needs. She is wonderful! The villa met all of our needs- plenty of bedrooms, kitchen, living room, plenty of beach, sun and shade, plus the pool! We chose not to do any tours because of covid, no need to, the villa had so much to offer. We had such a relaxing time, lots of games, poolside, meals and bonding with family. We spent a lot of time in the outdoor sitting area. Never a bad moment! Our family consisted of 8 - us, my husband and I -(the grandparents), our children and theirs, (our grandchildren). Never a dull or bored moment! We did use the golf cart for a daily trip to get groceries. Everything fresh and different everyday. Great experience. We also took a taxi to the village for some Balizian life experiance. Thank you for opening up the villa to us. We do plan to come back when covid leaves us alone so we can once again enjoy the laid back life of Belize, maybe stay longer!

The location is great and the pier and pool were wonderful. There are places to walk to for meals, drinks, and exercise. We loved having a golf cart to get to the grocery store and to explore. Namir and Anthony took good care of us and we enjoyed the home cooked food. For a party of 9 there was plenty of space and we especially enjoyed the first floor common area. The only negative is that the house needs some updating and upkeep and the SUP boards were very tired and not usable. I definitely recommend.

The location is really nice since it is right on the water and within walking distance to Inky’s for food, exercise, and drinks. The golf cart is fun and gets you to more restaurants and the grocery store. The house is large and was spacious for our group of 9. The pier was a favorite spot for sunrise, shade, yoga, and cocktails. Namir and Anthony took wonderful care of us and made us really good food. The pool was perfect. The only downside was that there has not been enough upkeep including replacement of SUPs which were quite old and tired. Otherwise, it was a lovely vacation.

Everything about the trip was perfect. Great communication; great location; great house; great service; great country. We throughly enjoyed are week in paradise.

There are so many good things to say and most of them center around Anthony and Namir - the caretakers of the property! As soon as we arrived we felt at home. My husband and I traveled with our 3 children and their spouses, along with the 9 grandchildren (ages 1-8)! The setup of the house was perfect for our group - lots of space to spread out; quiet spaces for the babies to nap, The outdoor living space near the pool and the sea were the places we spent most of our time! This was our reason to come to Belize - the outside. Everyone in our group snorkels (except for the 2 babies) and the 4 adult males are all scuba divers. The weather was perfect but the seaweed was in - no control over that so this is NOT a complaint! Actually - we have NO complaints! Only compliments for Anthony and Namir and suggestions for the new owners! Anthony and Namir - thank you SO much for treating our family like your family! Our grandkids loved you and the pictures of you with them will always be special memories for us. Anthony cooked meals for us on 3 of our 7 days there; the food he cooked for us was amazing at all of meals! Most of his dishes were made from scratch and we learned a lot from him - all of the adults in our group love to cook and be in the kitchen (and we were in his kitchen with him quite a bit! He was so patient with us and answered all our questions every single time. My favorite comment is when he told my husband that he learned to cook from his Mom - nothing better than that! And Namir - she took good care of us and kept us supplied with fresh towels and beach towels for the entire week - not an easy task for 17 people! But that was just a small part of what she did - always taking care of things in the background (we booked massages, rum tasting, yoga; she was on top of all that). And we had to do COVID testing to get back in the USA - she helped with that, as well. So much more I could say about these 2! I am going to finish this in another post since I am running out of room!

We rented this villa due to the forty three 5-star reviews. Our group of 4 couples (ages 57-74) stayed at Mission Bay from 2/13-20/21. Since we had a previous experience with this management company at another villa last year, we decided to try another villa this year.Mission Bay is in a great location, has a beautiful beach just a few short steps from the villa, & a short golf cart ride from town. The caretakers, Anthony & Namir, are friendly, respectful, & helpful. We contracted for Anthony to cook 3 meals a day for 3 of the 7 days of our trip, & the rest of the time we’re on our own.Daily, Namir cleaned our rooms & provided fresh towels & linens. The meals were outstanding & professionally presented...& included an amazing dessert. One 4-person golf cart came with the rental & we rented another 4-person golf cart that was waiting at the villa when we arrived. Across the street is a resort that we went to a couple of evenings featuring specialty drinks & nightly specials. Each visit was wonderful. Our personal laundry was done on a daily basis. That my friends is the end of the good news. The one point I want to stress is that Anthony & Namir were invaluable to us. Anything we needed was taken care of immediately. Any question we had was answered or an answer was searched for. We were treated like family. They were so accommodating to us all week that on our last night at Mission Bay, our group made them dinner, dessert & did all the cleanup. Our group is comprised of world travelers for at least the last 20 years. In the last 10 years we have used Home Away or VRBO annually & have rented homes, villas or apartments, so this is not our first rodeo. The Mission Bay house is run down & ill-equipped. Several in our group are outstanding chefs / bakers & there are no basic utensils, bowls, serving dishes, etc. There is no way Anthony & Namir can make the repairs & take care of the guests. Owners / management know what I'm talking about. A flood came through this house in December, I believe, & there are repairs to be made.None of us expect to be waited on or treated any differently than the staff. There is a mutual respect. We don't expect anything better than what we are promised & this house was a disappointment.We enjoyed our stay because we are friends, love to eat & drink, & simply enjoy each others company.

The property was better than the pics and Namir and Anthony were excellent! I think they are over worked. They did everything and it's a big house and we were a big party! They were amazing. Anthony's cooking skills were delicious and Namir went out of her way to find my bags, to communicate to our excursions manager and answers all our questions. She was a wealth of information. The property is very safe and the Belizean people were the best and friendliness we've encountered. We would go back in a heart beat! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!!

Our group of 8 (4 couples) just returned from an adults week at Mission Bay. Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The home is stunning and perfectly laid out. All amenities you could possibly need, including an ice machine! Our group LOVED this! All couples had spacious, beautiful rooms. The beach is beautiful. It was walked everyday by several of us. Much time was spent in the pool, which was also perfect size for our group. Namir went above and beyond to make sure we had daily housekeeping, laundry and overall cleanliness of the property. She easily coordinated any needs that came up while there and even gave us tips of places to visit in Placencia, which we took her up on that only further enhanced our stay! Anthony prepared AMAZING meals for us during the week and an extra special meal for Valentine's day, with a little surprise for us, that was simply delicious!!! My only negative, which for us was fine, but feel if you are traveling with anyone having medical conditions or children to be aware of, on the days meals were prepared, the meals typically ran about 30 min behind schedule and our Valentine's dinner actually ran about 2 hours after the time we provided Namir. Again, our group still had a fabulous stay and are very easy going, but if you have anyone traveling in your group that must eat at a certain time, either make that perfectly clear to Namir or have "snacks" available in case you do not eat exactly at the time designated. Remember you are on island time!! Otherwise, go and enjoy!! Thanks Namir and Anthony!! We loved our stay!!

Our recent stay at Mission Bay could not have been any better. The location of the house is ideal if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay; with the pool and beachfront location you really do not need to leave the property. We were 2 families with 11 people in total and the layout of the house was absolutely perfect. We rented a couple of extra golf carts which was a fun and convenient way to zip around. We were so lucky to have Namir and Anthony as our on-site hosts as they completed elevated our experience. They were there when you had a question or needed a recommendation, but otherwise they gave you tons of space to enjoy the property. Anthony is an amazing chef and his preparation of local cuisine was delicious! He even whipped up some delicious fish fingers with the fish we caught. For a week's stay you honestly only need to bring a couple changes of clothes as Namir does the laundry daily and is continually cleaning the house. We would definitely recommend staying at this property as you will be in for a treat and want to give a special thank you to Namir and Anthony for making us feel so welcome!

I traveled to Belize with 7 friends and the house was perfect. We were all able to enjoy the property without feeling like we were on top of each other. Candy and Gorge were wonderful and always available when needed. They made us feel welcome, safe and secure. Gorge’s cooking was amazing. The beach was clean. We were able to play beach volleyball, paddle board and kayak right in the back yard. Thank you
